#Quality of Life Suggestion: Confirmation box when sending heroes out on purple sad faced adventure

As the title says, it would be extremely helpful to have a confirmation box appear when sending heroes out on purple faced adventures and perhaps on red faced adventures too. About half my heroes do extreme and the other half do hard, so I am constantly switching difficulties back and forth. Sometimes, I forget to switch extreme back to hard for my heroes who are meant to do hard and I end up sending them to guaranteed doom. It doesn't happen often, but having that confirmation box would really help. Alternatively, we could allow players to cancel quests within the first minute of sending heroes out. I don't know which would be easier to implement for you guys.

the purple faces are already the warning, if you arent paying attention when doing things another confirmation box will simply make its way into your muscle memory

are you certain? because it sounds like you do so quite frequently

i have sent purple faced heroes out on purpose before, and will do so again.
the game does not need to be bogged down with endless popups just because people arent paying attention to what they're doing, people need to pay more attention to what they're doing.
the game isnt sending your heroes to their deaths, you are

The thing is faces often aren't accurate, especially in Lost City or when barriers are involved

It makes sense to put a confirmation box if all of the heroes have a purple sad face. Usually you want at least 1 hero to not be purple sad faced, even if the other heroes might die.

it would not, and i actually believe there is a suggestion for that already

I like it when the "suggestion" to improve a problem from one player (usually some others have the same situation) turns into a "no, I hate it" for others. If you're a beast at gaming and never fail to click, great for you. When someone suggests an improvement to your game, it may end up being a feature that sets the tone for how the game feels. making a mistake in ST turns out to be very expensive at times, and even more so when it comes to time

i do not feel like i need to be a beast to look at my screen, see imminent death, and not send it, but i will take the compliment so ty

When someone suggests an improvement to your game
not an improvement

it may end up being a feature that sets the tone for how the game feels.
indeed it will, and that tone is windows vista, not every tone is a good one

making a mistake in ST turns out to be very expensive at times
it can yes, so you would think people would learn to not constantly repeat those mistakes

I should mention that I don't send my heroes on purple faced adventures by mistake regularly. It's just that the few times it does happen is more of an annoyance than it is a fun feature of the game. I guess it's a question of which tone will grow the game more: hardcore with brutal punishments for mistakes or casual with safeguards against mistakes. I don't know the answer to that. I only know that I personally prefer a more casual game that focuses more on socializing and having fun over constantly testing myself against punishing mistakes. I don't find successfully switching difficulties back and forth to be all that fulfilling so I don't enjoy being punished for forgetting to do that on occasion.

"brutal punishments"
You make it sound like it's the end of the game when it can be fixed with a feather

Great idea. Would be lovely for people like me who accidently send a hero on a suicide mission
