you have to do 3 or 4 quests from heros. 24h have to pass. and if you have a villager in shop he wont come. he takes the same spot like the king. so if the 24H passed and you did 3 or 4 hero quests and then buy what the villager offers he will come 99%. i did this a long time and it worked very well. the only thing i hated and because i stopped doing it was that i was sick of locking and unlocking dozends of items every day.

You can’t have any worker at your counter, or resource worker. It has to have been 24 hours, and you must have something he wants to buy (superior+, on display and set to rack mode - not chest mode - in the crafting menu)
