It’s too long 🙂

No, King's Caprice with 7-days is good before Dragon Invasion. Players can prepare items for DI and get rewards from KC event.

I don't need it to be that long, but I imagine a lot of people benefit from precrafts for DI

This event is way too long and at this length the competitive aspect of it is not fun at all. Making Caprice 5 days or even 4 would be definitely be more enticing to involving more guilds to compete for a trophy

Then there will be people complaining about 5 days are way to short for them to craft 😂

way too long and boring

The Caprice is fun because it gives you a chance to get new blueprints. I wouldn't want that cut short. It's also one of the easier ones to finish early if you're in an active guild, so it's possible to ignore it after you've unlocked everything.

It's definitely bit on the long side especially when you're in late game but you do realise that if you finish it soon you can just ignore it for the rest of the week
I do KC crafts like day or two then forget it's a thing 🤷
no really good reason for it to be shorter, would just need a re-balancing of reward track to account for that

Counter point. If they shortened it, they could run the daily mini events during the newly freed days. Those mini events can be way more valuable than extra antique shop time.

i would say to be 1 day, as 5 seems to long =))

giving a free daily reset token, similar to the Fortune Zone Prizes, I think would be an easy fix for making the event shorter.

Caprice is very easy to finish. However making the milestones lower could compensate for the shorter event. Similar how Dragon invasion milestones were lowered when the event was shortened.

It only takes a day to complete so yeah it doesn't need to be long but I personally like having the antique store up for 7 days and would be sad to see reduced days on access to that.

Easy to finish for some guilds. My guild finished the last one on day 6, we had 1/2 a day to relax.

the idea would probably be that with less time the point requirements scale down too, so it keeps same level of difficulty

But it would be more punishing for new guilds if some of their members don't log on in the first chunk of the Caprice. My first guild had a terrible time with the events because they would always miss the first 12+ hours of them due to their time zones.

People will stay up late to finish an event as it's closing, but it's harder to justify getting up early to work on it. Humans are weird.

#

Also, the airship initially had a very narrow window to contribute items to it, so if you weren't on in the first 12 hours then you couldn't get any points for the first day.

The length is good for newer players. Even then they can't finish. For me yes its too long as I'm done in just a few hours. I hate competing in it because it's far too long. However, the length is good for the majority.

Why change it for the select few that are going for the leaderboard? For everyone else out there (especially the new players) its fine.

Fast players can just ignore it after they are done. New players have a week to get as far as they can. Seems great to me.

right. i thought this too for 5 day and wanna

As I said the benefit of dropping KC to 5 days would be the extra mini-events. Also consistency. events would then be lcog 4d, kc 5d, tot 4d, and di 5d.

I also think that it would help with event fatigue/burnout, and not just for the ones grinding for leaderboard spots. I imagine the majority of players that participate through the entire event are absolutely sick of it by day 3 or 4 only to realize they are only halfway in.

that or an extended reward track sort of like DI incorporated would be at least a start

Is it really matter how long we can access the antique store? The event is not rewarding us with more coin. So it only becomes an advertisement of antique coins sales. Also as a guild leader I keep one reward unclaimed to check the scores once the event is over so even if we are not in the leaderboard it always bothers me to have a❗on my screen for days (if there is a method that may save me from that please advise).

I know a good method, stop caring about scores 😂
you can still check scores all the way up until event ends while claiming everything, granted you won't see the scores at exact end of the event since they'll disappear but does that really matter so much?

and yes, store matters since more free refreshes = better odds of being offered something you want to pick up
