If the meal line starts at T3 like the other three lines mentioned, why is it treated like a normal line ascension wise?

Because meals are available to everyone, the other 3 lines you listed are premium ones
Which means we may see meals from dungeon chests, content passes, etc

Crossbow and gun are premium as well, but that has T1 and T2. Just the inconsistency is rough, and makes the higher tiers of ascension completely inaccessible for seemingly years

Could further point out meals only take 80 stars to max out compared to the normal free item lines which take 91 stars

They've been out for less than a month why are there people expecting them to be maxed so quickly holy fuck we got base lines that aren't maxed and they've been out for 3+ years

Not even maxed out, but they are the only line that has a “full” ascension track that doesn’t have T1/T2. It’s an odd line, and I feel like it should be either:
- like all the free ones and start at T1, or
- like all the ones that start at T3 and have a shortened ascension line

The shortness doesn’t even take effect until what, 65 ascensions? Shop titans 2 is gonna come out before we get another 12 meals 🙃
I’m not even some player who has to get everything to 51 for that bonus sale, I’m still working on getting all lines to the extra mastery (still need to do 6), so seeing what it takes to get the meals to that level is PAINFUL

Yes, but line shortage is only after 57 milestone. So, if you go 9/15/27/51 ascending, you’ll have to pay extra shards. I’ll be totally agree that shortage is fair, if it were 3/9/21/45 milestones.

What are that sources, where we’ll get recipes for free lines, but won’t get recipes for premium lines? I can remember only elemental recipes from chests - and we won’t get low-level recipes from there, only t13+ maybe. Don’t know if new recipes from content pass and some promos contains free line recipes only.
I don’t think, that are good arguments to make food line ascending like premium lines. But the main fair reason I see is “premium lines are easier to ascend because they are premium, and you pay money for them”
So imo, that lack of cheap 6 stars is uncomfortable, but ‘regular’ ascending tree is understandable
