#New To Producing, Is There A Good Software That Doesn't Use AI?

Hi!
As title speaks.

I'm singer/songwriter who would like to try producing her own music.
I'm just starting out, and I'm quite ignorant to the world of music and sound production.

Been trying to do my research on beats, noise isolation, incorporations of voice, etc.

But one thing I keep stumbling upon is the use of AI.

I do not have a problem with other artists using it as a tool to help their craft.
I just personally would like to minimize the use of it as much as possible.
It's a just a preference for me.
But I'm cool with others using it as a tool.

Right now, I've been using Soundtrap.

But I am noticing many features with AI assistance, and would like to know if there are any other options.

Are there any softwares with no AI?
Do all softwares have it?
Am I looking in the wrong spots?

most DAWs dont use AI AFAIK. there might be tools inside which idk about. but yeah

Totally fair tbh. You’re not looking in the wrong place, AI is just getting shoved into a lot of music tools right now.

But yeah, you can absolutely still produce without really using it. Most DAWs don’t force it on you.

If you want simpler options, maybe check out GarageBand if you’re on Mac or Reaper if you want something flexible and lightweight.

Honestly I’d just focus on finding something that feels good for writing, recording vocals, and getting ideas down. That matters way more at the start than avoiding every AI feature perfectly.

If all you make is beats with 8 bar loops repeated for 3 min. Sure FL is fine for it

As soon as you try to do something beyond that, that DAW slows you down

Imagine paying for a DAW which doesn't even have automation modes lol

FL can technically make anything. But the work flow is very bad

Ok cubase and studio one, there is a dedicated articulation manager, which makes orchestration with multiple articulation very easy
