uh
sorry to say this you need some BIG help on your chords etc
and melodys
and its mixxed badly
what style were you going for?
like what genre
so uh
yea i could prob help
rlly why do you think so? Can you please tell me when it's messed up?
most of the song
its just not put together well
and its key is weird
along with the drums not fitting very well either
Which is what I was kinda going for
Oh
i mean you still gotta have the basics even with a weird key

@quantumax
this is one of my songs
'i made it for ost
(its for a boss fight)
but anyways
you still gotta have the basics of a song
such as chords
and a decent melody
But buddy that's a whole different genre
im aware
tho it's sick
you never answered what genre yours is
most people say my name fits the genre i make
More like dark trap, rnb
ah ok
hm
well first
what vsts are you using
Ghoulish not rlly, but cool music buddy
the retro part
this music here is more of the ghoulish part:

Dude
Okey
but anyways
the part of music that is the main issue is most likely the vsts your using
...
or the presets
fl
you cant make music without plugins/vsts tho ?????
unless your using real instruments
eh? I mean I make it with the standard shit
Ooh ur asking the instruments I'm using
well plugins include instruments
sry bud I'm crap at the words
k man
lemme show example
yep
stuff like this
where it directly goes into the track and you can use multiple or 1 instrument on it
plugins are generally 1 instrument or use
vsts are generally 2 or more
that would be what im asking about
Dude, like I used
minimal kick
808 ch
808 clap, and some MIDI stuff
yep definitely
should look similar to this
Yuh man I got it
at this point just show me the project as it is rn
I do stay with the bars
okey
a good way to improve btw is to practice chords and different bpms with keys
and editing said chords into a progresion
ah i see
...
well first
i think your bpm may be too fast
the notes at the low part are way too low
the notes are slightly off time
lemme show you an example of how i would make a beat
brother, i got it
but i've got a whole different style
i did this for a commission a while back and this is a clip of it
and slowed down so you can understand the parts
cool, but again a different genre
different bpm
its a slower bpm so you can understand the parts
its generally faster
i slowed it down for you
why are you getting angry?
i am showing you what i have to help
got it bruv, I ain't angry
im saying it just doesnt sound very good, i would add chords etc
just the way you were typing LOL
i mean i can teach you music terms if you want
like what terms do you not know what means
btw what do you use to make music
oh ok
its like a blank slate so youll need vsts
'kay
oh right....
vital is also a blank slate that has many bank files you can use to improve it on
and surge is a synthesizer
the rest are either used for sound improvement
effects
or are 1 instrument vst plugins
got that
also VST and VST3 are slightly different
VST3 only consumes CPU resources when the plugin is in use. This is different from VST, which is “always on”. It is therefore possible to have a bigger range of VST3 plugins installed because they won't be consuming your computer's CPU resources until you activate them.
also im not sure if you know what DAW means
Digital Audio Workshop
just in case you didnt know
