I was trying the new gun sounds and tried a fv215b 183. Its literally spitting shells, thats not a gun sound. Its SPITTING.

What i've noticed that sometimes the results screen after battle is just being skipped completely. I get the victory screen and then instantly land in my garage and the team results are skipped. The battles where it gets skipped do not appear in the notifications tab either.
I think this is definitely a big issue that needs to be looked into asap.

Hi Wargaming, I'm trying to connect to the game but I'm stuck at the first loading screen, with the game logo moving and subtitled with the message "Connection". I can't access the connection menu where you fill in your login information or any other menu. I have downloaded the game several times and waited for long minutes without any change. The game has access to the windows firewall. I am on Windows 11. Do you have any idea how to solve this problem ?

Edit : I specify that I have no problem of connection with the current version of the game (9.0)

Probably been talked already but here’s my thoughts so far.

Personally I find the new sounds to be great. The new gun sounds for all tanks sound realistic with some modifications to give it more of an oomph to every shot though give the FV215b (183) a slight boost in sound. First time hearing it felt weird mainly because of the sounds I’ve been hearing for 3 years, but that comes with all major changes. The shell marks made from each caliber on the walls are a nice addition with each penetration being different between each caliber. Now the R35, T49, and E-50M looks great with the new HD model. In regards to the HD model for the E-50M I couldn’t find any differences with its armor profile at least when in combat with the tank, however coming across an E-50M is rare.

Side Note
I kinda wish the sound file for the missiles would get update to match the new gun sounds cause I don’t know if it’s me but the missile sounds are little too low, but let’s be honest missiles have been irrelevant since the removal so I understand why the new sounds for the missiles isn’t important (just my own nit pick I guess).

What I didn’t notice during the last update is the fact that the M-VI-Yoh has the consumable for its shell inter clip to make it much faster which seems very interesting considering the 2 shot auto loader gun with 1 sec in between shells.

Aside from that these are my thoughts so far. I wish at some point WG could in the future update the sound files for the tanks’ engines. Also apology for the misspelling if there is any.

Certain gun calibers are too quiet, and hardly make any sound
The 183mm gun sound is good, I think it matches well with the hard hitting derp aspect of the 183
The 120mm gun sounds are not that good, it doesn’t really highlight their power and it sounds more like someone slapping a wall really hard
The 122-128mm gun sounds are great, along with the 152mm gun sounds
Small caliber guns from 45-90mm are super loud compared to larger calibers, and it doesnt really make sense

To give a quick feedback of my first impressions, I agree with the general opinion here that the new sounds for the cannons are very good. The new ground markings for the shells are also of good quality. However, their appearance in the corners or the junction between two elements is not yet perfect. The attached first and third screenshots show an example of this. I could see that this case has already been reassembled in other conditions. I also did a game in 183 and I noticed that on some elements, the mark is not correctly drawn and there is a clean cut which is not very aesthetic. You can see this in the fourth and fifth screenshots. Finally, on some buildings, when you shoot through a hole like a window or balcony and you can see what's inside the building, the shell explodes, I guess, on an invisible wall and you can only see the end of it on the outline of the window or balcony as you can see in the second screenshot

I'm using a Dell G3 and played a few battles the only glitch I found was shell marks hitting windows and doors, sometimes it leaves no mark but most of the time it does. also the spider web shell mark on windows looks too unrealistic and takes away rather than adds to the realism imagery your trying to create.

looks like you have 0 combat XP on the T92E1 specifically and 213k elite XP on all of your other Elite tanks. you need more Elite XP in order to convert that to Free XP. otherwise, the only other way of getting Free XP is buying it directly from the store or earning it as a reward

For testers on PC:
When opening the app make sure you run it as administrator, if you run into problems with the loading screen make sure that windows firewall isn't open and prompting you to allow the app to run. Let it run on your home network if unchecked. Afterwards let the loading screen do its thing (for me it took roughly 10-20 seconds to get going. Also as far as testing goes, just play the game normally. I imagine they tweaked a few settings for optimization and just want to see if they can cause issues on platforms.

Looks like the rockets have sonar or something. It would be kinda cool to have some sort of low power scout missile that could partially scout enemies. Instead of outright revealing a tank it could ping it with a little miscellaneous red tank icon. That way you can scout more efficiently while still having an incentive to properly find out whos going where. More likely a cool little design than an actual new idea but still a neat concept to think about.

The new shell icons could use some tweaks. They look great, but for tanks with two similar shells you can actually make the mistake of not knowing which is which. The old bands around the shell were different enough in color to where it would be plausible to figure out which was loaded at a glance. The background icons are a good step in this direction, but maybe it’s better to get a different color or just an addition symbol to help distinguish them a bit further instead of having black and yellow accents for gold and silver accents for standard.

Not necessarily a bug but can we please stiffen the vehicle selector a bit? Its really annoying having to stop the scroller and then select the tank. I have favorited tanks in my garage countless times and after a frustrating battle its like being kicked once you're already down. but minus the camo rating,
everything will be mixed up, so only those who play the rating and pay attention to it in the game will know who they are playing with,
the old look was much better (old rating point appearance) and when someone had 5 k camouflage you had respect for him in the game and you knew that you could cover such a player and give him support if he would also help you get out of a bad situation, now if you are persistent you can quite easily 5 k considering that everyone started to play regardless of experience,
tank rank experience is pointles(9.2) it's enough to have enough coins,and no skill
it's better to make the color and appearance of the nickname of the players considering the deserved time in the game

It's a test server where we are to mess around looking for things that don't work. Yes it is helpful to battle with others to see how the server reacts but there is alot to click on and interact with even if noone else is around. I find starting a training room is the best way to connect with others, just hang out mess around explore maps and someone will pop in! The only other thing to do is get on when EU is awake (late night) thats when the most players are on!

Found this glitch a very longgg time ago, how you do it is, you have to have the hull of the tank partly in any type of water. This glitch has allowed me to realize that there are 2 gun sounds for this caliber if you pay close attention. (Sorry for the bad quality, don’t have nitro.)

You’ll figure that position out easily if u go to it in a training room.
From what I understand, the tank needs to be in water and the gun has to be extremely close to the water. You can also do it in deep streams/rivers but its a bit more complicated to do it in those. It also really doesn’t effect anything all it does it allow ur gun to make the sounds it makes when it fires. No shells come out (from what ive tested/seen.)

Actually agree, it can’t be real btw, kran engine power 643hp , mino 802, weight of mino 57.2t and kran 44.7. And resistances are 84-78-47 for kran and 82-67-53 for mino. One bad thing I’ve noticed about mino is that it has no rotation, and locked turret makes things even worse

I think it would be great if Minotauro had same consumables with Kranvagn. At least Improved Engine Power Boost make it great in battle. Because tank is slow and it will be hard if tank can't take position in battles like Kranvagn. But its a td, so its not a frontline tank. On other hand, E3 have same booster. I don't know what to say about that, but it would be great if WG think on this and I suggest to put this consumable on Minotauro.

Nerf the armor of entire line. Especially Tier 8. Wargaming, this game has smaller maps than PC. In PC, lower tier tanks have a kind of a chance to fight against them unless they go directly 1v1 them. In here, we actually have to go 1v1 in order to win a gun fight. There is no possible way to go around since maps are way too small.
Think about it. How a KV-3 is supposed to pen the tier 8 of this line? Or how a KV-1S, 45TP, or any tier 7 TANK DESTROYER is supposed to pen those vehicles when they go hulldown? Their turrets are basically impenetrable. Give them bigger cupolas.

Found one issue the Semovente M41 has no gun sound . check your files on that . tested in reg battles and training room and even on diff maps . all other game sound are active and even other tank shots are heard. it's only this tanks gun sound. I will re-emphasize that I believe this tank is balanced even with its near overpowered front plate and lower plate.
Its horrible lack of mobility, locked turret, and awful turn speed coupled with how long it needs to reload, makes it very fair and balanced; Once you flank it, it's gg for them.

I really dont understand why its lower plate is not a weakspot. Plus, this tank even has a even more c*ncer and toxic armor than Type 71.

About the armoring: WG. Tank will be useless if it comes as it is now. Turret armour is too bad for hulldown. Also huge weakspots at the top. You should make it stronger on hulldown by adding armor on top and weaken lower plate.
Only thing Minotauro can do to be useful is hulldown. So. Make it stronger when in hulldown.

In beginning of this year you said would and you have made changes to make tanks to be better on spesific areas. By making Minotauro to better hulldown tank you would continue on making "different gamestyles on different tanks possible".

1) why does the Bassotto's 105/25 have the same gun as the 102/40 from WoT rather than using, as accurate as we can get, the ACTUAL 105/25.
We don't even have to search so far for it nor do we gotta make stuff up, it exists, and it's an even easier work to render than the long 102/40.
2) why do the HEAT Premium Shells for te whole TD line get named in the description as HVAP Shells? And why all of them as T17 Shells? Could've been a bit more creative there since even the T6 and T5 had the EPS 42 HEAT that could've been used and the 90mm could use two APCBC Shells, but, mainly just rename them to HEAT T17 rather than HVAP, or turn the shell from a HEAT to an AP like the Japanese.
3) What are you planning at T8? Are you gonna just be different from WoT by swapping the CC-64 Vipera with the CC-67?
Lastly, and that's no longer a minor change, why does the mino's LFP have to be that strong? It goes against every line of damn logic!

I am surprised to see WG release a new tank that is not about to cause a huge hype to go for it. Certainly the armor is great, but with that horrible dpm and mobility there will be lots of games where u simply can not do enough to have an impact as the battles are over too quickly and you can not put damage into the important targets. That first shells reload seems hilariously bad, that shell is basically impossible to use. Will still refine my opinion for a video review.

Well you can find a LOT of differences between wot and wotb, so dont regard differences as wrong stuff
In case of 1, wg dont prefer to give derp guns to low tier vehicles and this can be proved by update 5.5, a lot of derp guns were deleted from many tanks, and became collector's tank regardless of their type
2. They are gonna fix it cuz its just open 'test' this isnt the live server and the newly changed and added features could be changed as they applied to live server
Check for the article that they are describing open test
3. Consider su 122 54 and obj263, in wot, su was deleted, 263 became tier 9, and v4 went to tier 10 but su is alive in wotb, and v4 isnt a researchable tank

I enjoyed the minotauro, but boy, it has some good stuff, the armor is pretty good, high pen TDs obviously will pen it, isn't the krans turret, the chassis of the tank, also is very well armoured, but has some """weakspots""" the cupolas are troll but u can pen it, it does become a weakspot when the enemy has the high ground. Sides and rear are well balanced. Mobility is nice, better than the krans one, and the gun, is special, the high alpha (comparing it with the krans alpha), decent shell reload, and 3.5intra, it's good. A balancing factor is the first shell reload, thank god isn't like the kran, cuz oh boy. In resume, strong tank, not op, imo.

It seems the strongest one when you think of in terms of tier, is tier 8 one. 2.9k DPM, insane armor plus turret. Its actually so easy to balance the tier 8 one.
Remove the high DPM gun and leave the only autoloader one. It will be easy to deal with if you would do it.
