one person on each team is chosen to be the boss, you have significantly increased survivability and damage with unique boss abilities. Boss has limited lives if I remember right

Everyone else gets a specific role which comes with specific abilities, I believe if you are not the boss you have unlimited lives.
Mode is point based, killing enemies gives you points - killing a boss gives more points.
That's from memory, also Wargaming have probably changed some things in Big Boss now since the mode was gone for so long as they said they had to make some changes

you can use this to check it yourself. I last checked winrates during uprising mode. winrates on ally/enemy team weren't far apart which is balanced but avg wr was quite high. Not a big sample size tho

Here's my speculation:

• Light tank is probably mostly get yeet in boss mode ( even medium or any tanks )

• graviton is most annoying minion role.... imagine u going to black hole but the black role was very high like..... yamato harbor when naval guns will probably best to shoot.

• mistake the bad players about rush as boss and get died 3x in the row.

• regenerator is another problem..... bad players don't know how to use as support.....

• Bomber was my far about favorite role in game ( together the poison role ).

One more change for healer ability should be that they get experience for healing allies.
In one of my battles where I was boss, this one guy was like my personal medic and he got only 800 experience while the amount of healing he did basically printed me a new tank. (With boss HP included)

Actually that does add an extra bit of unpredictability which adds to its fun. Of course now that people are grinding for Snowglobe, it's not gonna be fun.

I have got a few ideas to improve the Boss selection
Boss should be the same type of tank (heavy,light etc.)
The boss should have almost same winrate than the other boss. 0-40%/40-45%/50-55%/55-60%/60-70%/70%+
The boss should have pretty much same number of battles than the other like 0-3k/4-10k/10-25k/25k+
If you would choose to accept any idea I would choose the categories,or mathematically closest.
It would improve the boss selection by a lot.

How to identify the enemy boss:

• check the team if someone has boss role
• look the exactly position on enemy and thing the 1 - 3 players...

example:

the ally boss is player 4 ---> look the enemy team between player 3, 4, 5

p.s. sometimes will doesn't work about calculations but sure will know the enemy boss.....

Yea I think you have to shuffle tanks to actually get a boss and not use just “one”tank
I used centurion(premium med tank tier 8) for five times but got no boss
I used type 71 and t92e1 after that and both got boss first play
