It's pretty sad that the most common theme in Gravity at the moment seems to be "Sit on spawn and wait", "Afk and wait for wins", and "Hide and wait to see if team gets advantage, then start moving and playing".

I love Gravity Mode, shooting tanks while they're in the air and landing that shot is super satisfying, but when you have zero support because your team wont leave spawn or is hiding (And even just the player who is only playing gravity to troll his team), it take so much fun out of it.

Try playing in a VK168, you're entire team starts following you, next thing you know the entire team is back on spawn because they ALL turned and drove back to camp, and you're alone, focused by the entire enemy team on the other side of the map.

There is constant trash teams in Gravity. Whether it be afkers, cowards, hiding, trolls, and even people who only play to be a detriment to their team and make sure they lose.

Why?
Because there is literally nothing to stop them.
Wargaming has not told them to stop or made any of this against the rules... So there is nothing to stop it in event modes.

Maybe WG should make it so that if you weren't active for more than 50% of the battle, you get a small penalty

That is insignificant.
This Gravity challenge got everyone hiding waiting to steal kills, afking, and blocking allies shots to steal kills.
Those are much higher priority.
Those issues occur in all event modes and normal modes.

Should be something they can enable when there's events going (Example; Kills) to prevent people from getting to the top by being detriments to their team.

Events shouldn't be promote or allow allies to be taking it so far as to be an all-around detriment to and bad teammate so they can steal credit for event rankings.

So... it solved nothing.
AFKers still get their diamonds while the losing team gets nothing, except maybe a tank or two who did REALLY well to earn 300xp.

Damage is not the determining factor in skill.

This is a team game, your job is to support your team. If you cannot do that, you are lacking skill.

It was BEFORE 4/13/22? Cus that's when this 0 damage game got 455xp for doing 0 damage and still got their diamonds cus their team won.
They never claimed to implement it into Event Modes, and at this point people have realized it and are taking advantage of it.

19 Base XP or anything below a 100 hardly helps players that AFK grind events in game modes, especially such leaderboard based ones

BXP requirement forces players to be more active instead of sitting at the back since you get more XP for your own spots
You will have to AFK 10 games just to get the equivalent progress of a game in which you contributed

The players that will constantly AFK will be negligible in number, as they are right now, and if you find a recurring AFK player, Player Support deals with that if you send them a ticket

The 455 BXP in your game is because of the 4 tanks you lit up, and also won ( which is unlikely in case of a 6v7)

how about checking the Battle Efficiency section? It gives you a break-down of the XP you’ve earned in battle, and what earned you how much XP.
If the person whose battle results you”ve posted died without the opportunity to do damage, it doesn’t mean they were inactive because they spotted 4 enemy tanks and bounced a shell-this contributes to XP for spotting and allied assistance.
You need to look into these parameters before making hasty conclusions.

@coral oak with regard to gravity, i think that lighter tanks should be able to jump even higher, faster, and further than before, so they should reverse the change they made earlier this month. the current situation isn’t a problem, i’m only mentioning this because it’s absolutely unfair how tanks like the jgpz can hit such accurate shots in the air. it should be made more difficult for tanks that heavy to fly so high. meanwhile, we need to give heavy tanks that ability, even if it’s significantly reduced when you compare it to other tanks, as there’s no valid reason why lighter tanks like the 50b shouldn’t be able to use the rocket fuel boost just as effectively as some of the slower medium tanks

they will ban people for excessively low military honour. even if your perfect record is unblemished but you run into the same trolling platoon a handful of times in one day, your ranking can fall from 5 stars to essentially nothing. even if no replay is sent in to WG themselves, they will automatically assume that the reports are true and issue a permanent ban from the game. that being said, there is apparently no way to upvote or downvote other players in any game mode (even though the option still shows up for yourself)

It is kinda dumb how you can laser-aim after jumping and just camp on red line in whatever tank as artillery.

People like these are pretty common. Just remember that your wr doesn't determine your skill, it's your average damage.

Winrate can be easily crushed by these kind of teams no matter how hard you try to carry the game.

I, in my personal opinion, wish WG would get rid of the gravity mode. I don't like playing it because I feel like I'm targeted for some unknown reason. The red team always attacks me first! So, I just don't play that game mode, but I did one game today and of coarse, the red team came for me, penned me in corner to were I could not move and finished me off in about 45 seconds. Again, I will never play the gravity mode.

What was your tank? The reason might be the easiness of eliminating that tank. Light i guess, since they penned you in corner. When u find a chance to eliminate a gun, u should take it. That can be the reason. For example killing a sheridan is easy once you catch it. If you fail then in endgame sheri can kill many while running around like crazy. So people might choose to kill dangerous (and easy to kill) tanks first.

A suggestion, in the "Weightlessness" mode the heavy tanks don't have any power, why not put as power the "Blast Wave" which pushes back the enemies as for the "Boss" in the "BigBoss" mode, but without doing the damage, that would remove the frustration of playing with heavy tanks.

ok SUPER heavies can go yolo mode and ram, but other heavies and heaviums are really boring to play
what about giving heavies a 30seconds ability (or whatever) that gives them super projectile speed and super aim time & accuracy so they can hit flying tanks better? (since they cant fly themselves)
