anyone else notice that you can't seem to ping some enemy tanks in battle, even when aiming directly at them? Usually it goes "Attack X tank" or something like that, but sometimes no matter what you do, it just says "attack!" I literally just lost like, 3/4 of my HP trying to alert my team to 3 enemy tanks, and it wouldn't ping any of them. Safe to say we lost that game, as they drained our HP from different points around a kill zone.

If you’re getting flanked that easily you haven’t been checking for enemies that well. With the mobile auto-aim it’s hard to snipe and flank because you will get detected. Only way to really be hidden is to either be moving fast (for lights and mediums), or be behind hard cover because then your tank won’t be detected even by auto-aim.

Thats the point. Yes, it would change some tactics completely, but over all it would be much more skill based, than luck based to win. The same with the aim-assistant which shows you where you can penetrate. Without both of them the game would be much more skillbased and more fun to play. Then it wouldnt even matter when WG sold some more OP premium tanks. Over all i think it would make the game less toxic and frustrating when rng doesnt hit ur face that hard all the time

What if they increase its percentage being hit
Let's say 100 or 95%
With you can simulate a real life tank battles
But the mode is still the same
It's just those modules and crews will take damage more often
It could teach players to be more careful on their action, decisions and tactics
Since people can knockout your crew or ammo rack more often
You can revive all of the knocked out crew if you have one crew remaining
If not you're sitting ducks

You’d probably want to adjust the effects of module damage, ammo racks and fuel tanks come to mind. Something like a (tier 5) leopard with a machine gun or really any autoloader could set an absurd numbers of fires easily since every time fuel tank hp hits 0 a fire starts. HE would also be OP, just think how often a kv2 does module/crew damage already. That being said I’d love to experience a mode like this if it had realistic’s lack of markers. It’s a great suggestion

I love it when people just drive by, they rely on markers and the minimap way too much, they need to learn how to not use them if they want to play better, I always keep a watchful eye for anything out of place, a fallen tree or the slightest movement behind a hill, anything that gives me a hint, I even do it in regular battles to tell me where the enemy is moving, always be aware of your surroundings and never rush into battle, try to stay hidden as much as possible

That’s the point of the mode. You can’t see a tank through an object even in regular mode. Not a big problem as long as you ‘spot’ them by using the auto aim mechanic to find them when they’re in view and able to get shots.

I would reccomend using medium tanks, optional to you though, whatever medium you can play best, for teir 6 I use T-34-85, good speed, decent armor if you know how to use it, and the 85mm gun is good for finishing off enemies quick if you get on their sides while a teammate distracts them, I reccomend playing this mode with a Clan member or a Freind so they can watch your six if you play as a TD or heavy, of your friend is in a Heavy or TD, go as a Medium or Light tank, and vice versa, have fun and knock out your foes

You can basically use auto aim on PC. If you scope in you’ll automatically zoom if there’s a tank in a bush. And you can use the lock on to track people around cover until they go unspotted. Plus the bigger screen makes picking out tanks way easier.

I think it would be cool to give all tanks the mad games stealth perk to instantly go invisible behind cover.

The mode has differences from regular battles and affecting stats will only drive people away from playing it, and it doesn’t get big enough queues to handle that. Besides, a mode with people not being able to see someone unless they point at them isn’t something that should be considered in stats. Currently stats include encounter or supremacy battles which have the same spotting mechanics and damage rolls etc. Realistic has too many differences from those. It’ll never be allowed to influence stats

I disagree. I think the games are very similar. Map size is countered by speed, higher damage comes with higher hp, armor models and penetration are functionally the same. 25 t plays like a light anyway. The most significant difference is the draw distance cap in PC and the ability to passively spot for damage on some maps. But ultimately both games revolve around positioning, crossfires, and knowledge of you and your opponents. Skills learned in blitz apply to PC and the other way around. Although the metas are usually a bit different.

Heavies are the worst to face in a fight so try and aim for weak spots, lower glacis plate if you can, go for the sides whenever you get the chance
All lights are a menace and you have to watch out for them, they will eat you alive, mediums will probably be easy but it's a Good chance they have a buddy, TDs are hard to spot so check out all the possible locations for hiding spots, look for a cannon barrel sticking out in case by chance you spot them
Always keep your head on a Swivel, so if you're on mobile, go to settings and equip the lookout bar
And don't engage a Tiger ll with standard armor peircing rounds from afar, APCR should do it and facehug it if you're in close quarters

Enemies don't show up on Minimaps when spotted, no lightbulbs when you or your teammates are spotted, and no red highlighting to show armor on Enemy players
You just have to go off what you know are weakpoints
So basically it means use your brain to actually win it's not really a run in and shoot anything not red, you have to be specific where you put a shell

Cos the fact that realistic feel so much like a challenge on Hearing and other senses. Maybe even if it does become permanent, we could be a few steps closer to turning WoTB to look similar to its twin, WoT PC. Since some of us here are already familiar with spotting, armour and penetration

I mean, I ain't kidding bout armour highlighting in Regular battles. It just feels kinda plain that some players who have been in blitz including me rather do Realistic battles to challenge our capabilities, I mean, like other games like War Thunder and WoT PC, they expect you to learn the shells you're using and what tanks it can pen. In a nutshell, some of us are kinda bored of the game easily telling us which part we can pen and which we can't, therefore competitiveness isn't really that high. Again mentioning the fact that all u need to do is aim and fire the non red spots, which is sometimes an easy or hard task

It's a Fun mode, not exactly like Gravity, Uprising or Burning games, it's just to add more of a challenge, if you play like you're blind, you won't earn as many credits, this mode is about being aware of your surroundings, it's not as fast paced as you would like it or doesn't give you extra credits?

Overall with the introduction of the economy changes special modes lost much profitability. However, realistic battles and skirmish were particularly affected as they have the same gameplay as the normal mode but no badges to earn extra credits.
Honestly I don't see why to play this mode, maybe only to have fun with some troll armour profile tanks like the TS 5, churcill mk 6 or to grind less enjoyable tanks.
Even before the economy changes the mode was pretty unpopular, I remember I had 3 v3 games quite often even on EU

However without a premium account it's just unplayable.
Just had a 2.6k damage game on IS 4. 1k base exp. Just an average game for a decent player.
However without using premium ammo I just made a 3k profit with a premium account, while using only once an adrenaline and using as provision improved fuel and improved ration.
If I did not had a premium account I would have lost 2k credits.
I mean just this example I think shows that you can't earn in this mode at higher tiers, where the rewards for the medal accounts for the majority of the game profitability
