t77 kinda broke, getting ~10k average dmg. the combination of a big bursty clip and the rewind is broken. you just clip them and rewind. get inferno, jagged shells, chain lightning rapid fire. now you can one mag people at little or no risk.

yeah, but a very niche situation and a waste of points if you have better options. rewind keeps you safe. you can rewind to get back into cover as well before they get to hit you. ie. you make a bad poke and spot a lot of tanks and you can't get back into cover fast enough. just rewind to get back faster

yes please. infact just remove it from the mode. its stupid. every other ability has counter play. the tornado can be out positioned, shadow can be shot out of invis or you can get into a corner. mark has its own downsides. rewind can be baited. but blood trail just removes a huge amount of hp or you stop moving. or maybe make it so they have to have their gun aimed at you to activate it like most other abilities. because otherwise tanks that have it can simply use the 3rd person camera to blood trail you without ever putting themselves at risk

T49 is similar since the HESH shells do 800 dmg each, that’s 1600 and you can use the invisibility to go right up behind tanks. So you don’t really need to aim anyway

double shot is almost a must have for auto(re)loaders. you're able to pump out double the shells in one clip, making you much more deadly. sure you have to play a bit more close range, but the payoff is very much worth it. you have abilities like supernatural power to help you get closer to the enemy. if you know how to properly use double shot, you're golden

Seriously WG can you Not simply restrict people from access to game modes? Half my team consists of players with under 1k battles. How should These people ever acquire the needed skills to play higher tiers when they can all yolo in game modes and Grind tanks that way?
Also, how are you still allowing people with >10 or 20k battles but with <45% WR in this game? In my opinion this is rigging the game by these players. They have no Intention of playing the game as it was intented to be, they Ruin the fun for everyone else by playing intentionally poorly. If you Say they are just trying to have fun, well then i will yolo every game or Block my teammates bc i think thats fun. Players with certain career Stats should all be sent to a Different Server Cluster where they just play against the same bots as them.

Firstly, game modes are meant for fun. Why does it matter that a guys testing out a new spot in gravity mode? That’s what it’s for, chill players that aren’t try harding.
Next, do you prefer those terrible players to grind in normal mode or game mode? They’re actually being nice by going to game modes. And they’ll learn from the normal battles they play eventually.
Next, so you expect WG to just get rid of half of their playerbase? “Not playing it as it was intended to be” well no one plays it perfectly, with that logic all but the top 8 players shouldn’t be playing. Also it’s a game, meant for fun. Not some serious thing where people have responsibilities to do well or stop playing.
Next, careers stats mean next to nothing after a while, that’d be incredibly dumb to seperate players by them. 30 day is what matters.
Next, there is a substantial difference between playing poorly and trolling. Ones just a mistake, the other is intentionally ruining the game for others. Trolling is an offence and can be reported. Your average player yoloing isn’t doing anything wrong, merely playing badly. So the argument of “they’re having fun so why can’t I have fun pushing someone into the water” is completely illogical.
Next, do you realise that there’s only 60%ers because there’s 40%ers, and vice versa? Removing those players would help the playerbase level, but not stats wise. You’ll always have 40%ers, can’t stop that. And the low skill ones on both teams actually allow a better skilled player to take advantage of them and farm good stats. Trust me things would be very hard indeed with a 90%er like you (I presume since you only play the game how it was intended) facing only other 90%ers.
Lastly, removing half the playerbase is incredibly dumb simply because blitz isn’t big enough for it. There’s barely enough players to get a match some nights on APAC. MM already has a -5K queue and a +5K queue, and that sometimes mixes due to a low player count.

I expect that New Players try to learn the skills they need for a normal Match. If you Do well in Regular Mode, you Do well in game modes. They shouldnt learn EVENTUALLY from regular Matches.

Other games managed to Do that as well, put cheaters, modders, bots, etc on seperate server Clusters so they only play against themselves. If a Player stays consistently below a certain threshold (30 day or career, i dont care) they apparently dont care and would most likely Not care if they only Played against other people of the same caliber.

Why do Bad players get to be themselves and continue to play poorly, but good players should always stay back. I understand that farming the enemy Team is fun, but its frustrating to Lose 10 or maybe 20% of your 30 day Stats just because of Bad teammates. Its a Team game after all. Would you like weak teammates in any other game you are playing?

And how is that my fault that Blitzs player base is too small? In my opinion its the result of Wargamings incredibly Bad Business decisions in the last years AND allowing for players that were on RU to join normal EU Server and Not their seperate Cluster (i dont have the exactly numbers so, i know this is biased, but one should Look at the following numbers: decrease in players on RU Server. Increase in New Accounts on EU Server. Decrease in existing Accounts on EU Server. My perceiption is that Veteran players stop playing because the player base on EU Feels so much worse after the Migration).

Well, I’m saying game modes are better for new players to grind in. You want them in pubs? That’s worse if you care about bad players. And skill carries across so there’ll learn stuff from game modes. Whenever they start playing pubs there’ll learn what they need then too.

I’ve already given a bunch of reasons why separating them is a bad idea. Also cheaters etc. are not the same concept as a poor player. Most poor players want to improve, it’s rare to get ones that don’t care at all, they’d mostly be trolls.

Please understand that you play vs the same players you play with. It’s random MM, which means you will overall get equal players, however it also means it’ll vary, so one session your team will carry you, the next session they’ll drag you down and you’ll have a loss streak. I think the 30/30/40 rule still works, 30% of battles you can’t help winning, 30% you can’t help losing. The other 40% is where you make a difference, the percentage that you can affect the outcome of. It’s a team game, but you’re still the constant factor in all your battles. You can change the majority of the outcomes. It’s the difference between a 30%er and a 70%er.

I’m not commenting on blitz’s business decisions or whether you’re at fault for them. I’m merely pointing out why it wouldn’t work.

Judging how many players left after the migration is a hard thing to do, I wouldn’t know. Note that a new cluster was added in Poland, and I believe it’s fully functional now.

I will only comment on your 30/30/40 rule. It used to be like that when i started playing the game in 2020 (at least that was my perceiption). But due to Bad teammates and WG introducing more and more mobile tanks and autoloaders i feel like this rule has shifted to a 40/40/20 ratio. Its only a very little amount of games that are Not decided in the first 2 Minutes of the game.

Well I agree, steam rolls aren’t enjoyable. However, a steam roll doesn’t necessarily mean it was decided what the result would be regardless of your input. You could have helped cause the steam roll. And I still think you can decide the majority. Basically it’s skill that’s the difference between a 30/70%er. If you can see that then it shows that they’re affecting the outcome right? So it’s not a coin toss. Although as I say even if not a coin toss I agree steam rolls are far from enjoyable. Part of the issue is that heavy side is often too isolated, not enough crossfires etc. So when one side pushes all med side with their heavies and the other doesn’t then it’s usually a win on a lot of maps. Basically a really bad meta that shuts down half the map and makes for more steam rolls.

Wg said they have buffed Double Shot, yet in the game the tooltip shows the same dispersion and aim time increase values as 3 years ago...

Also the 50%/75% chance to do +25% dmg(maxroll) is worse than +20%/+40%dmg on every shot, which options we already had before.
The new maxroll skills are straight up worse versions of already existing skills... What's the point??? They are basically +12,5%/+18,75% damage in the long run instead of +20%/+40% for the same points cost... Looking at these skills and the trash new skills in Mad Games, and the absolutely stupid explosion thing in Burning Games it feels like devs have no clue what they are doing...

For example, tier 1 would give you 20mm of extra pen, tier II would give you 50mm. You could leave it at that, or go overboard, and get a tier III rare one, with is an additional 70mm of pen.

Just an idea, I don't know if that'd be too OP, but it sounds like it'd make uprising even more interesting.

And if your tank is already an autoloader, just double the number of shells and lower the intra clip. first time playing this and i am never doing it again. Never got a single shot in because of that stupid fast poison thing i always got on me and made it impossible to survive a single shot from anything with the M48, it took me forever to load in which made multiple of my teammates assault me with slurs and insults, and when i tried to explain to them this fact, they just went "f** u", and when i lost my last life, the entire game crashed and i had to restart it. The reason why I personally don’t like gravity:

• when the MTs and the LTs got that jump boost, it’s very difficult to ram them when you are a super heavy tank. It was better when they didn’t have the ability
• you can’t go with a normal HT because a Super HT will ram you away for like every single round
• when you jump you often get Fall damage
  -shooting enemies is difficult when you get shot
  -your teammates just rushes and don’t mind winning or loosing

Well I hope WG will fix this at some point as on PC the cooldown of Inferno and the lightning abilities still don't show at times which is nothing serious but still somewhat annoying

In my opinion, the Minotauro could be better, especially better then the CCMK1 (weird to say, IK) with the Hunters mark ability, sure its fun to mess with a full speed T-100LT, but hitting a AMX50B with inferno and hunters mark is so much more satisfying, and plays into the tank being a Heavy support instead of LT support

I for one would like to have the Realistic mode as a permanent game mode for the following reasons: 1. Skilled players will be able to really show their expertise. 2. New players will be able to learn how and where to shoot an enemy tank, what are vulnerable parts of any tank class etc. 3. The game is much more fun for the Light and Tank Destroyer classes as they will not be detected so easily and everyone needs to be much more map aware...if possible in this current team environment :)....I consider the Realistic mode the most rewarding game mode in terms of learning how to play a tank game. The rest are fun to play for the crazy moves, for credits and experience etc.

Why the realistic mode shouldnt be permanent :

• People would play it too much and get bored of it
• phone players scan scan using autoaim and perma spot enemy tanks. Nothing realistic or rewarding about that.
• new players playing this game mode would just get farmed and would not be able to learn anything.
• easier to learn where weakpoints are in a regular game mode where thick armor appears red
• Meta would just be light tanks running around, heavies would get farmed like whales
• wargaming would loose an argument to hype players playing the game.

here are some issues of this mode:

1. change tvp power from time jump to dust devil, like the wz 121. I know it doesn't bring much of my small sample size, but tonight I played 6 games, met 10 tier X mediums, and 7 were TVPs. ACT FAST
2. consider nerf time jump again. It should only apply to the last damage source/ effect on the tank,not the entire damage. It's way still overpowered.

Lag/rubberbanding is rampant today, teams are worse than normal, many getting what can be called damage of 1 life, and nowhere near the 3 provided… also afk’s, ppl give up early on, and the bleed spam all make this event where we need to win for a huge amount of tokens a complete waste of effort/time, fun got deleted when WG makes too many things happen at once.

Inferno

When fired at any target or object on the map, the shell explodes and causes splash damage to all enemies within a 25m radius.

• 30% of your tank's maximum HP to damage.

it doesn't matter how much HP your tank currently has. its based on the max amount of HP the tank had when it's at full HP

this is why Inferno is probably the most overpowered ability in the game, and especially lethal on heavy tanks

my Mk 6 has 2491 HP. 30% of 2491 is 747(.3). Let's call it 747 splash damage. The Mk 6 may not have had Improved Armor, so it would have been 30% of 2350, which is 705 mimimum splash damage. To me, it seems like the enemy had a significant low roll, perhaps including the use of a premium shell

The HP roll would have normally been between 290-332, which means it was either a low roll with a premium shell or a low roll with a standard shell

btw the maximum HP rule was taken from Blitz's website

it does say "current HP" in-game, so we definitely have a discrepancy. I'll ask about it

What do you not understand?
The language that is selected for this server is English, and English only.
People are free to use a translator or join a server that uses the language of their choice, or start their own server.
It is not moderators duty to translate every message posted that is not English, and then just allow people to chat in that language.
We will often translate as a courtesy ... but still chat on this server is English only.

Am I the only one that finds the ability that spins you around very not fun? Like I can enjoy the game mode other than that, even the unbalanced stuff, but being spun around is just disorienting and frustrating. And if you have multiple used on you it's just the worst.

Honestly I find it a bit more annoying than graviton. Graviton is stronger don't get me wrong but the movement of it is easier to track and less painfully disorienting. Plus the way it moves you doesn't always guarantee you are suddenly pointing your most vulnerable armor at the enemy. I just kinda think this mode sucks because of that ability in parrticular, not helped by the poor balance of the passives.
