Kinda frustrated that the birthday tanks are once again the Y5 series. I grinded super hard for them during year 5 assuming they’d be unique and not available or hard to get in the coming years. Come to see instead of making new tanks they just make the same ones easier to get every year…

I'm sorry if it sounds like I want to deny the other Y5 tanks but I don't know if it will be fun that each player will have at least 1 tank from the Y5 edition which is 2 years old and the account will be set up half a year ago. I am of the opinion that some tanks should be rarer because then the game will be much more interesting. And there is also the thing that the Y5 edition is named after Wotb's fifth birthday. 260 isn't worth gambling for. It has less armor than the IS-7, which already has an iffy hull. Turret is also weak. You get a great gun in return. So it's an IS-8 upscaled to t10. Don't gamble for it if you didn't like the IS-8 lol.

The 260 isn't worth crying over if you didn't get it lol. Coming from a supertester, it's pretty disappointing just in the armor department. WG made it seem like it had tons of armor in the trailer, but in reality it really doesn't have any. Super susceptible to overmatch and HE mechanics, the top of the tank is 30-40mm thick, so anything that touches it goes straight through. The turret is only 260mm, which is super easily penetrated, and if it is turned even a LITTLE bit towards the side there are 230mm sections immediately. And don't let the bottom side of the turret with 300mm of armor fool you: more often than not the enemy shot ricochets off that lower turret armor and pens straight through your 40mm engine deck below. And don't even get started on the hull, the only way for you to bounce there is if someone intentionally shoots ur blackhole spaced armor.

Gun used to be good, but what you will be playing with currently is the nerfed version. The accuracy isn't that good, the aimtime was pretty long to begin with, and the dispersion on turret traverse is awful, so even though it's better than other tanks, it will still feel Russian. The gun's DPM is the only real good thing about this tank.

The thing is huge, easily penetrated (HESH target for 183s at any angle), and just weak, especially for inexperienced players.

Hey Devs i have a Quick question since the enrichment is cheaper right now: there is just very little reason to actually enrich a Tank, its too expensive, only i see its Being enriched, the Credit coefficient is Not comparable to normal Premium tanks even after enrichment. So maybe if you add more incentives to enrich a Tank i would actually consider it. I dont Think the price is the Problem (even though the permanent enrichment costs as much as a tier10 Premium sometimes... 😐). Maybe you can add other benefits for enrichment? Maybe a special Camouflage? Or an attachment? A special Animation? That would be cool. Bc right now i think enrichment is just a nonsensical game Feature...

You can enrich a T49 and Charioteer if you like them these are the only tanks worth it right now with a discount because they are somehow unique at least. Other tanks usually have their premium, better versions. Also you may enrich AT-15 or maybe LTTB but they don't lose credits that much so idk. I think enrichment should be cheaper especially because it's not a premium and:

1. The tank can be nerfed
2. It's not the best because WG doesn't get any money for it

Android controller support has been removed in the hotfix update 7.9.1 (after being reintroduced in update 7.9) because it caused complications with the input detection.

Or, to put it simple, some people couldn’t play because the game asked for controller inputs while there was no controller connected to the device and thus WG removed controller support for all Android devices (since those were the only ones having that issue). That’s why your controller doesn’t work anymore

This morning I was thinking about an idea for a new medal in the game, a Purple Heart medal.

In USA, Purple Heart is a medal given to soldiers that got severely wounded or died during war, but I think it can be worked on Blitz.

Basically, make a kill meanwhile you are with 5% HP. Win or survive won't be necessary. Basically a Billotte's medal, but way easier and accessible for everyone.

This medal would meam a few things:

• The player didn't give up, even if it's at low HP
• The player have a good reaction time, he/she did caugh enemy in surprise and shot before the enemy loads prammo
• It's difficult enough to be challenging, but not hard like Billotte's, Bruno's or Tarczay's

To answer B I know that I was able to knock my su-152 from a 17 second reload to a 14 second after about 3 months

su-152 has a long reload for balancing reasons, the amount of time it takes to get to 100% crew depends on how much you play tbh, more you play quicker you can get it

I personally look at the "un-permatrackable" mechanic as some kind of a forgiving mechanic, rather than a game-breaking one, backing up at 4 kph is pretty darn slow and if you were tracked in a wrong rotation/position, you can't really do much, since this mechanic seems to give you the ability to "back up" only, and not turning.
(aka if you're dumb and you drive in the middle of the battlefield then you'll die anyway)
kinda like the forgiving mechanic in the Italian HTs in WoT where if you fire before your shell in the autoreloader the game will reduce the reload time of the next shell
But we shall wait and see, until these mechanic actually comes into the game, so that we all can have a first-hand experience with it.

Wargaming did not decrease the rewards exponentially. Firstly, the term is misleading because if you had one container with only one other container stacked inside it and the only possible reward is getting said container stacked inside it which you can only get at a certain chance, and the container inside also only contains rewards at a certain chance, then, and only if both these chances are equal, your chance to get the reward is exponentially decreasing, precisely it is the chance squared as opposed to the chance alone if you had the container inside alone.

This is not the case here.
What we have is a container that holds 20 items, each with a 5% drop chance (so you will get one of these items guaranteed). Those items are crates.

1. Primary (desirable) rewards:
   Assuming that all tanks are of equal value, the crates are not of equal value because the drop chances differ significantly (2.5% - 5%). In turn, this means that there are more desirable crates to get from the first container (because they have a higher chance to include a desirable reward).
   However, the chance to drop a tank by buying one container is 4.175%, which is lower than the highest drop chance of 5%, but not massively.

2. Secondary rewards:
   While there are also up and downs concerning them, the content of all crates in the container are more or less the same, with boosters, free xp certificates and either gold or premium time being the usual contents. Regardless of the noteworthy deviation I am positive that the average secondary content is relatively close to the secondary contents of the Dracula crate (if you discount the charm). Just for the protocol, I didn't go through the trouble of calculating that (check the Centurion 5/1 and STG crates to see what the drop rates for secondary items usually look like)

Basically, what we have here is a fairly standard crate with the unique characteristic that it branches to numerous top rewards instead of only containing one

These chances seem low, but only because we disregard other potential top prizes as top prizes. May i reiterate, the chance to get any tank is 4.175%.

I did this to show that if you want something special, these crates decrease your chances to get it by a great margin. If you are just in for a tank, they are ok

Each of these crates drop with a 5% probability. How do we calculate the probability that you get any crate? We add the individual probabilities: 5% + 5% + ... + 5% = 20 x 5% = 100%
which is obvious because you literally can get nothing but crates in container one, and there is no such thing as an empty result, so if you ask “How likely is it that I get any of the possible results?” it’s obvious that you get “You always (100%) get one of the possible results”. (You suggest that the chance of getting any crate is 5%. Thus you would say that there is a 95% chance to get no crate, which is literally impossible).

I also added a visualisation that is common in stochastic to describe such problems. If you search the internet a bit I’m sure you will find the basic rules how to add and multiply probabilities in such trees.

Well you can add probabilities when looking at all the possible outcomes of a single event, as the probability of any type of outcome is 1, however in the example you responded to, Avataar is talking about 2 separate, independent events meaning you can not add the probabilities. If you could, and say the crate had a 0.02 drop chance, that would mean you would always get the tank by the 50th crate, which is obviously not the case, the actual chance of getting it by the 50th crate in this scenario is actually only ~0.64

Bro I'm Brazilian and I must say, there's only 5 brazilian vehicles that are interesting enough to be in a game, but 4 of them are too advanced to be in blitz. The only one that fits in WoTB standards is 'M41 B Walker Bulldog', which os basically the german bulldog, but in the WoT Console it have a little more alpha.

The other ones are

• VBTP MR Guarani
• EE-T1 Osório
• MB-3 Tamoyo
• EE-9 Cascavel
  But they're too "recent" to be in blitz, they may fit in War Thunder as part of USA premiums since there's no Brazilian line there and some of them are actually based on North American tanks.

Hey devs, i have a small issue. I like how the recently newly added Premiums arent OP but well Balanced, thats defo an improvement. But it seems like you are releasing a New Premium tank every other week. The Kunze Panzer, the Turtle Mark one, the Obj260, etc. Its getting a bit much. Especially since there is no fixed Release schedule. In other games, you know that New content is going to be added at the end of each month, every 2 months, 3 months, etc. And that allows you to first of All anticipate the eventual purchase (save some money, save some Gold, etc) but also anticipate the tank and get hyped. I can understand that its difficult to say how long balancing and rebalancing before Release will take. But in my opinion it could be better to Do all that pre-testing before. Then, if it goes to open testing, announce the tank for a certain time in 60-90 days. That gives players time to save Funds, get hyped, See the tanks on the battlefield when encountering a tester etc but also have a fixed Date in mind that we can Look forward to.
Secondly, i understand WG is a Company and needs to pay the Bills and wants to make Profit. There is nothing wrong with that. But a Tank like the Kunze Panzer, in my opinion, would have been a nice Addition to the game between two big Updates as a tech tree Addition. For example after the Indien Panzer. That way you give players something new to Grind inbetween big Updates and have future options regarding New tech-tree Additions like the Leo 2 (or others) which gives you more Flexibility with smaller tech-tree Additions. I think it doesnt always have to be an entire branch, small Additions like one tank can be equally refreshing and especially help the older players as well to stay interested in the game.
Hope that all made sense, would love a reply, even if i know i most defo wont get one 😄

I believe that there's two reasons of why we don't have Brazilian tanks are:

• There's not much tanks that actually fit in the game, the only one that actually fits on blitz isn't much famous (M41B Walker Bulldog)
• Brazilian community isn't big and neither active economically on the game due to the high price of the items (which is directly affected by the price of the dollar, it became very expensive during the virus outbreak). Why would WG make a brazilian tank if even a lot of brazilians won't pay for it?

But I'm happy with this after all, because if M41B appears on the game, be sure that it'll be on god damn loot boxes. It'd be a shame to see a tank with good potential like this be in a cassino system.

Bourrasque is broken on PC in the same way the Yoh tanks will be broken: too much damage in too short a time, basically making zero room for error and severely punishing people who make mistakes. Just promotes more passive gameplay because nobody wants to eat shots...

If the tank is broken or not depends on two factors: how high the alpha is, and how short the intraclip is. Imagine how broke the YOH is with the 900 in 1.7 sec, then imagine that kind of mechanic put onto a psuedo-light tank.

Lowe's turret really isn't good, any tank can pen it if they aim whereas you need to aim and have 250mm+ of pen against the TS. Idk what you mean about the lowe having armour where it counts because the E75 literally has a better front, side and a better turret. The TS also doesn't show huge 200mm spots when it isn't looking precisely at the person shooting at them, and on top of that has the sideskirts so it can sidescrape much much better.

I will concede that the ts is slightly faster in most situations(except soft terrain) but given that they're both so slow you really cant make an arguement based on their speed.

Due to some armor and gun nerfs, KV-1 became one of the worst heavies in tier 5. Angling won't help you a lot and get happy with the 10 seconds reload.

If ARL 44 is so "eh" as foxxo said, then explain the ARL spam in tier 5-6 tourneys. It's not that hard to see a team with 4 or 5 ARL 44 and maybe another heavy or a TD.

Nope 🤣, KV-2 is easy to outplay with arl, because he can't pen your front and you have the way better dpm. Also the KV-2s only strength is its alpha, so he pays with bad mobility, bad camo rating, very bad gunhandling, bad dpm, no armour, bad gundepression and bad turning speed on the turret.
