Have you learned how to reverse side scrape yet? The frontal hull armour and rear hull armour are weak as hell. If you angle the side correctly, you can bounce some shells. However, if you sidescrape like you would in a heavy, you’ll expose your pikenose front which is an easy pen for the enemy. If you reverse up against a wall, then angle so you can just get your gun around the wall, that’s probably your best bet of surviving in the T-22 medium. It’s best done on city maps where it’s flat terrain, or maps with train cars like himmelsdorf and dead rail. No elevation change so you don’t have to worry about people shooting down into your engine deck, and you don’t have to worry about gun depression. If you want anymore advice feel free to DM me

If you have a big wallet, crates are the thing for you. But honestly, theyre not worth it because unless the tank is OP (like smasher, so I understand the crates here), the tank will probably appear in the garage later. So, in case its Smasher, i get it because they are never going to sell it in the shop unless its in crates, but other tanks that come in crates are usually going to end up in the shop sooner or later anyway.

Thats not how it works lamo. Sorry but that formula tells different story but it doesnt tell u the chance of u getting a smasher in those crates. No matter how many crates u opened , the chances are same as when u opened the first crate. If any math tutor is there, correct me if iam wrong

Each crate is an independent event and doesn't rely on what you previously got, so each crates does have the same 3% drop rate. What poptart is saying is that after n such events, the chance you got the favourable oitcome atleast once is 1-(unfavorable outcome)^n

Take a small example, say you roll two dice. Say you want atleast one of them to show 6.
P(A)=5/6. For it not being 6
P(B) = 5/6. For it not being 6
Probability of A and B will be represented as P(A intersect B) which for independent events is simply multiplication of P(A) and P(B).
P(AnB) = 25/36.
So to get atleast one 6, you can simply subtract it from total probability which is 1.
You can count, there are 11 outcomes where you get atleast one 6.

I am finding that some games that end in a total white wash usually have a common thread.

The winning side has MORE battle experience.
Please factor in crew training which tops out at level 7

One example.
Team A, has a total of 128k battles which is gleaned from each players profile.
Team B, has total of 290k battles, again gleaned from each players profile.

Surely it is not beyond the capacity/capability of WG to avoid such huge discrepancy between teams. Having 162k difference in battle exp, skews the game.

just as a counter arguement to this, the current MM is fairly random, it doesn't account for player stats and what not. Therefore, every player has an equal chance of getting a good or a bad team. With any skill/experience based system, its automatically skewed so that experienced players have a higher chance of getting worse players and worse players have a higher chance of getting good players. For the overall teams, that might be a good thing, but its unfair to the good players that they are constantly having to carry inexperienced players.

If a tank has 1300 Alpha it SHOULDN'T be easy to hit shots.
Thats why the 4005 will never get the 183 gun. BTW the 4005 is still a really good tank.

You know that "a million" is just an exaggeration to point out how many tanks would've been nice instead, right?

-Soviet LTs (T-100 LT)
-Chinese LTs (WZ-123-1)
-British LTs (Manticore)
-Polish meds (CS-63)
-Polish heavies (60TP)

Especially light tanks would be a nice addition since we only have a few of them at tier X (three if I'm not wrong, Sheridan, Vickers Light, BC-25 t).
Plus there are more tier X tanks from the PC version that could get implemented because their predecessors already exist in Blitz (AMX 13 105 for example or PzKpfw VII). So yes Ribble, there are actually quite some tanks that actually would benefit the game. Yes, we barely know anything about this new American tank, I'm aware of that, but the fact that nobody heard of it before gives me the feeling that it comes with the attempt to simply ignite a blind hype around it. Furthermore, the new tank apparently is an autoloader - why? The last two new tanks (Kranvagn and TVP T/50) were already autoloaders!

And to you, @astral cargo, it's easy to applaud and laugh about the "jokes" of the people ruling the place you are in, but it also is not really brave. It's way more brave to actually stand up against mentioned "rulers" and advance your own views simply because you think they are right. The tank is just ugly because of its appearance. The chassis is too small and flat, the turret ridiculously oversized, too tall and at the same time too slender, and the gun makes it look even worse because it is so oversized in comparison to the turret. I was pretty happy with how the TVP and Kranvagn looked like. But this one is just... meh. No. It just looks ugly.

I'm the last person who will randomly criticise Wargaming for everything they've done and they're doing, in fact they're doing quite a good job overall. But I can't lose the feeling that they're willing to throw balance and simply an enjoyable game under the bus in favour of making it suitable for a bunch of newcomers who just pay much without bothering to learn the game in the first place. Smasher, Annihilator, BP 44, then tanks appearing all the time in crates, a new battle pass each month (and thus one more poorly reskinned and renamed tech tree tank that litters the already poorly balanced tier VI even more), consumables that make certain tanks OP (cough Grille line spall liner)...

Definitely some strong opinions there, but the new different looking american heavy line is a different take at least. I would love it if we had an autoreloading heavy for the US.

It also makes sense that we have the AE Phase I coming into blitz as well, so the release of a subsequent tech tree would accompany the new premium/collector/money maker tank. Notice how both tanks are different looking than the 'normal' tanks we see in battle.

Hopefully the T100-LT line would come after this new series of heavies.

705A in PC has less alpha than the E100 (650 is the 560 in Blitz, 750 is the 640 in Blitz) so 705A would not be an E100 gun.
So, it could be balanced. Personally it needs no gun depression so it can do nothing on hills, and since it's wide give it terrible traverse, DPM, and aim time. It's a hold-the-corner kind of tank.

Like I said, no, new lines are in general not a bad thing, more like the opposite. And I am also definitely not a person who blindly criticises everything just because it's new.
We will see how you will implement the new line; maybe it will be good.
But there are a few things that are eye-catching. The fact that this is the third new line being an auto(re)loader. And the (only an assumption, I know) feeling that bringing a complete new line no one ever heard something about before mainly serves the purpose of fueling an even greater hype around it in an attempt to get as many players as possible to stay with the game and also spend money in order to get it as fast as possible (because muh must have new tonk).

Ribble, don't get me wrong, the line itself isn't even really the problem, but it's a figurehead of something basic being wrong with the game imo: ranking balance behind making the game as attractive to players who just spend money and rush through the tech trees as quickly as possible without ever learning the game in the first place. I mean, we all see the symptoms of that. Completely unskilled players playing high tier tanks (saw some people playing tier IX while having barely 500 battles in total), unskilled players playing premium/collector tanks because of crates, a general decrease in quality of team mates, on both sides (so I'm not complaining "muh my team is always bad") truly littering lowtier with a new reskinned version of a random tech tree tank (low tier is already broken because of downgrade 5.5, all those new premiums break it even more) and not to mention tanks like the Annihilator and Smasher that are textbook OP and that can only get obtained by paying real money.

All of this steadily decreases the fun to players who think just a bit further than "haha tank goes boom now buy new battle pass".

It is obvious that these tanks are textbook OP, they excel highly, they get played A LOT and they kinda break matches because people also tend to play them in double-platoons. Smasher and Annihilator are the personification of the legitimate concern that you, Wargaming, care more about getting money from it than balancing it and making it enjoyable for those that made it big.

Like I said, the new line isn't the problem itself, it is the figurehead of the way the game is going, specifically to make it even more appealing to people who - again no offense - just spend money and don't learn the game properly. Again, the line itself isn't the problem and I won't judge the tank itself (apart from its appearance) as long as it didn't even get tested.

So you just choose to ignore that issue? Because that's what you basically say. You acknowledge there is an issue (aka both tanks being OP af), but you decide not to do anything about it. I understand you don't want to directly nerf those tanks, but you have to do something about them because they are singlehandedly breaking tier VII, not to mention tier VI. To be honest I am always happy about new content. I know I criticise a lot but I really love the game and have a lot of fun playing it so I am always a bit concerned that things break the game when they are a bit out of the box. But anyways, here are my thoughts:

The new American heavies remind me too much of the T57 Heavy, especially with the autoloader and trollish turret. I really hope that balancing finds a way to create a clear distinction between them, but it seems like that is happening with the alternative guns (just please please don’t make the ‘stock’ gun useless like on all other tier ten tanks with two gun choices!).

The German light is great news. I would prefer a light line for Germany (or alternatively the Leopard 1 as a light and a new medium top branch from the Indien) and there is always the concern regarding how a tank is sold/ made available to the player base, but generally I appreciate that Germany gets a premium light tank as well (and if I’m not mistaken it’s unique to Blitz, so nice job)

Lastly, I wonder if it’s possible to have the low alpha - high dpm playstyle in tier ten. I really loved the Crusader before 5.5 and always wondered why there isn’t an extremely low alpha gun in tier ten that basically reloads like an autoloader in a clip

Oke, that is logical from the company point of view. But because the smasher and annihilator overrule tier 7 all the other tanks are not playable (including the premiums). I bought my vk45.03 when there was no smashers and annihilators, it was fun to play. Because these 2 OP tanks got introduced I will never buy a premium tank again, even though your tank wont change you will just have a more OP-er tank to counter yours.. Not saying it because you should care about losing 1 customer, am trying to warn you guys what the playerbase is thinking now... The only tier 7 tanks people will buy are the smasher and annihilator cuz the others are just not worth 1€ when you face these... You have stated clearly from the beginning on that collector tanks can be changed. People knew that when they went to gamble /buy the smasher. Oh wow someone reading that channel, soo just gonna add since Operations are reguraly in game each month theres plague of bad players and even newbies on tier 10. People get too much free exp. I spent all exp on fair boxes, soo like 3 months and I got already 660k, no buyng, no spending. Now add many x3 certificates and -25% discounts. It really kills the game. Very often this game is unplayable at daytime even on tier 10.... You should stop atleast a bit with it. Also you can make more tutorials, tips for the new players... Make them learn how the game works and not only to move shoot and thats all.

Thats what i don't get. My understanding of collector vehicles is that wargaming withhold the right to nerf / buff a collector vehicle at any point, but they have been treating them the same as premium tanks since they were introduced. At this rate, they may as well remove the collector vehicle tag all together and just make collectors into premiums to stop confusion for new players. If you're going to treat them the same as premiums and refuse to balance the collectable vehicles, why do we have the collectors tag?

I have many, many T7 premium vehicles which I no longer use because of the smasher and annihilator. The type 62 is one of my most played, and highest performing tanks. Nowadays I don't enjoy driving it at all because i just get demolished by an enemy team that has 2 smashers and an anni, or 2 anni's and a smasher. The only time i ever really go into tier 7 anymore is just to play the smasher or the anni. I paid for both tanks, and I still want them nerfed. I wouldn't be upset if the smasher or anni got nerfed in the slightest, because it'd make the rest of my tanks playable again.

And lets be honest here, all wargaming is doing is driving down sales of other tier 7 premiums. Why would anyone bother paying out for a tank that is going to be outplayed by a smasher or an anni? It just doesn't make sense to do so

Fair point but personally I can't say that the tanks in question have really affected how I play.

But I am saying is that both tanks are designed to harshly punish mistakes, like overexposing or pushing too far. Personally, I did not think this came balanced around players who do not learn from the mistakes that they make.

There is obviously a mistake in the Kunze Panzer model. The back of the turret ring needs to be higher than the front of the turret ring, hence the turret sits in an angle. Also, the difference of tier 8 to tier 10 is about 500k exp (considering that it's a simple line, like the Maus line, and you only researched what is necessary to get it)
None does get even 100k free exp from nothing (unless in 2019 snowglobe). T10 battles have lot of problems, but saying that Fexp is one of those problems is simply giving a bad excuse to stop spmething that benefits everyone.

Firstly, that is a problem with ratings and how it works. Complain about that and leave randoms alone.

Secondly, I want to see anyone prove that there is an absolute decrease in skill level in the game. I just say that I disagree and don’t think your complaint has a basis (and I really do), and then you need to first show that what you are saying is actually true to then be able to make a point that things should be changed. As it is right now you just threw a random assumption into the room that is more likely to be caused by a perception bias than anything else.

Oh and, no, a steadily decreasing average absolute skill is not bad, it simply doesn’t matter because all stats and all playstyles in this game are relative to the meta. The meta changes with a changing skill level, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad - at least not from an objective point of view

I'd argue that the teammates are not "steadily decreasing" but instead that as you improve you recognize more of the faults in others.

The Overton window is a political theory. Basically it states that as your frame of reference changes things you once accepted become unacceptable and things that you previously found unacceptable start to become acceptable. Airline security is a good example. In the 1970's you could basically just walk onto a plane. The idea of a body scanner was (science fiction) beyond what a traveler would accept. Now in 2021 the idea of just walking onto a plane seems absurd.

Let's take this theory and apply it to gaming. When you were new and didn't know what you were doing the things that you saw other players doing were acceptable. Either because you didn't realize what they were doing or you were doing it yourself. As you improved those things became unacceptable. More and more players that you once looked at as equals became subpar to bad. Players that you once looked at as far above your skill level became equals.

In this game the player base is ever changing. New players join and old players leave. Ideally your skill level continues to improve. Because the view through your "Overton window" has changed you do not see these new additions to the game the same way you did before.

It's not that the player base is really getting worse. It's that as you improve you see the player base from a different perspective.

The average EU player has a winrate of 49% if I'm not mistaken. And when looking at the teams after each battle, it is easily enough noticeable that there are more and more players filling up large portions of both teams that are even worse than that. That's what I'm referring to.

If the M-6-Y is anything like it is in the blueprints the tank could be very balanced. 200-230 effective armour vs AP, 675HP and 40ish tonnes means a 17-18 P/W ratio, 230mm+ of turret armour not including the angle it's at. The 105mm I'd imagine is the gun people would go for not sure where they're pulling a 120mm from unless they just feel like it. Also fun fact the M literally stands for Medium so sure I guess we can call it a heavy if you want.

Unless you have any way to prove that you had access to that account, they will not tell you what email is linked. The screenshot wouldn’t work because they have no way of knowing that you didn’t just get the picture from someone else.
If possible, look through all the email accounts you have, and try to find any WoTB or Wargaming emails on them.

At least you guys have to inhibit bad players(I define bad players who are keep afking, can't even use their joystick to move and camping abnormal places) from normal game.

I experienced there's several battles win or lose too easily. Mostly it was because of bad players rather than the type of tanks. (I won the battle even if the enemies had Chimera, Progetto 46, and Action X). It makes the game boring or frustrating.

There's no efficient plan for seperating players with similar skills, but at least you guys could match with players who have at least fundamental skills. It could reduce easily winning or losing games because of bad positioning or very bad skill(low tier newbies' skill) players.

We all play with and against the same players. Over time everything averages out. You'll have teams with good players and you'll have teams bad players. Randomly but equally applied to all of us is the most Fair way for a Matchmaker to work.

At the end of the day you are the number one factor in your performance. if you're losing more than you think you should be that is a you issue, it is not a team issue.

Roughly 30% of our games will be easy wins, 30% of our games will be hard losses, and the remaining 40% are up to you. If you are not surpassing 70% win rate your performance is still on you. Is not the matchmaker's problem

@midnight spindle I can't answer all your messages with 15 min cooldown XD but I will just say that you think 40% of the games are up to you, but that isn't actually true. My Kranvagn stats are 3.330 avg dmg and 1314 avg xp, but 58% WR (yet super-uni at BlitzStars). I'm always top dmg and xp, but that doesnt get you a win. U still need your team to help, either holding, distracting or looking at reds menacingly. There is no way u can win 1v7 if your team doesn't at least distract reds, and considering reds arent good enough to know who to shoot. With your theory, I should have 70% WR on it.

Also, my main point about MM issues were been paired with untrustworthy players. The military honor system doesnt work fine (admited by WG) and it needs an important rework. My complaints about other players dont make any difference, and if they do, I still get paired with them?

Good question. Military honor is useless and needs to be replaced with something that is not 100% based off of opinion.

Concerning your Kranvagn. At no point did I say that you do not have to work with your team. Doing raw damage alone is not to always guarantee a win. I'd argue that there is something that you could have done even better in the 12% of games that you lost that could have turned the tide of the battle.

Those 12% battles must have been when I had an empty drum bcs I just killed someone, reds realize and they push me, so my hull-down doesnt work, and my team is just looking/missing/having a tea party (?). There are tanks that need some help from your team, while others can carry alone or with less help (like IS-4, I have 80% WR and I dont even know how, that thing is just too OP)

They would be below 1 stars (maximum 5 stars) because of acting bad behavior frequently like afking, camping for a long time, going at strange position(usually croner spots), yoloing, blocking teammates, etc.

I bet the system can clearly discriminate the afk players who never move while in-game, banning them temporary several hours.

I understand under 50% players are numerous and have less skills (shooting and defending) than pros, but still there are definitely several players play abnormal behavior on high tiers, and make teammates annoying.

i don't think map and team sizes were mainly an issue with the hardware but rather with the gameplay. If the maps and teams got bigger, the games would last longer and there would be more camping (like wot PC) and that type of gamestyle doesn't really suit a mobile game. The one thing I would like to see wotb do with better hardware is to make the graphics better

iirc the chromebook version is literally just the android version, but chromebook doesn't allow you to simulate touch inputs with your keyboard

I wouldnt remove it either. However in some Tanks its just basically impossible to play. You either have a fast tank that can take the Hill, a TD or a Tank with a Strong turret. If you have a Leo 1 but come against a Sheridan or BC or anything faster than you, there is nothing you can do. You cant go hull down, you cant snipe, you cant flank, you cant take the hill. Also the TD Spot on one side is just way better. I wouldnt want to remove it. However a rework would be nice to give some Tanks more possibilities.

Mines where the worst map in the game while rockets were around. Almost no space to hide behind and no sharp angles but easy slopes for rockets to go over. Mines got no place in higher tiers because of how good view range there is. Like I said light or med spots you behind the bush at the spawn while they are on the middle ridge. The majority of players in game haven’t exactly had the high tier experience with mines, which is where the problems lie. Mines is available at every tier, and since the survey was sent out to every player, it’s probably low tier players that are inflating the map’s score a lot more than what actually represents the problem with it. It’s just a theory, but that’s the only way I could think that mines would be so highly rated.

Example: in csgo or pubg(including pubg mobile) u have chance to kill a full enemy team. Even in professional games. I'm not a developed, I'm just a good/very good player (according to Blitzstars), but allow me to answer you.

Let's start by the most important that everyone should put inside their heads; MM is fine. I know that sometimes a lot of noobs/afk players may appear in your team, but sometime they may appear in enemy team too. It's the newbie's job to learn how to be a better player instead of blaming others and if you're nit a newb, you still can be a better player. The answer for the matchmaker problem is improve yourself.

The matchmaker is fair because it treats every player equally, with alleatority and some rules about the tank classes (lights, mediums, heavies and TDs, with 2 more sub classes that are Super heavies and Derp TDs). Matchmaker does not know what tanks are good or bad, neither how skillful a 45% player can be. It just choose alleatory players with alleatory tanks in two teams.

And about cheats, it's something hard to talk about because I'm not a cheat user, but as I know (and I may be wrong) there's a few cheats but they're related to Xray, tracers, "artillery vision" for ATGM tanks, skins with visual internal modules, etc. But they are extremely rare (in all my 13,6k battles in blitz, I've seen 2 suspect cases, both of them were against missiles). But as I know, there is only official cases of cheats in RU server.

for now, we know that we're getting the american heavies, the polish heavies, and probally the russian lights so it'll be at least a year to a year and a half before wg can even consider the italian heavies

if my assumption is correct and part of the reason why the italian line is so popular is because they look really cool (bassically an italian abrams), the kpfpz 70 and chieftain are both pretty good looking, modern tanks although they are premiums

Also, try checking again, the tanks are not necessarily sorted and you might have missed it in the list
