Why can't I expect?, I know it have been like this for a long time already. as an example vk90 in shop would cost 15K gold, one crate with it costs 1.5K. If they wouldn't be stingy they would give atleast this 1.5K gold for Tier 10. I remind theres 10% chance only soo you should have 1 tank guaranteed on 10 crates which is 15K without discounts. This 3M for tier 10 they give is laughable for people that spend much money in that game especially.

It’s clear the crates are a bad deal. If you have the tank you get compensation you don’t like. If you don’t get a tank, you get bad value for your gold. If you still want to gamble you just accept whatever you get. If you don’t like the rewards, don’t buy it. If WG can’t sell crates, they stop selling them. WG only puts out crates because people buy them

I wouldnt say its like EA does, EA is more shameful because they do annual released for full AAA price tags. I wouldnt say theyre doing worse events, the one we just had wasnt much special because it had no premiums but it wasnt that long ago that we had the E75 TS event where it was very easy to get a good tier 8 premium for free. for the battle pass, I like it. I would much rather they do battle passes than just keep churning out increasingly better premium tanks.

If I'm not mistaken, when you turn the game language to Italian, Swedish or Czech and also turn off national crew voice, the tanks will stark talking in Italian, Swedish and Czech respectively. So I just wonder why WG never fixed the crew voices if they already have those voices.

Campaigns to get prem/collector tanks without being able to skip levels with anything, for example, being able to get the Obj 907 as a reward but you have to play to be able to get it, no money can be spent to get it

They can have a same free time as other people who work but for example they are going to work at 8PM, soo they are home after 4AM for example and then they have free time, and rating battles are off at the time. Missions resets every day at 12AM right? All missions should be possible to do in this 24h period. Rating battle mission is only mission which cannot be done in this full time period. And the second thing is as I said above they force "noobs" to play rating battles.

No one is really being forced. You can avoid the ratings missions and still get both the large crates (320 and 600 keys), and youll just miss out on the 120 key daily crates for those days. Removing the mission means fewer players in ratings, which is a problem, and changing the timings for ratings also leads to fewer players in ratings at any one time. The amount of players who have this timing issue cant be big enough that WG will care to remove a mission just for them

Hey WG defs. There are additional rumors out now that the Matchmaker is rigged to make good players Lose more. Armored pants Released a Video now with what He calls proof (which however is BS bc He uses Mad games Matches which hardly have anything to Do with skills and bc He forgets to control for Personal abilities over time which violates the C. P. Assumption Hard) and other Youtubers did Videos on the topic as well. Firstly, i dont believe the MM is rigged, i Analyzed my random Matches and there was no rigging to be found. However, i hate the fact that random Youtubers play into the opinion of some players and Tell them the MM is rigged and that they cannot do anything against it. They basically fire up negative opinions about WG. I would really like some Kind of official Statement and some examples that Show how the MM isnt rigged and does Not want good players to Lose. Some Youtubers like Martin Dogger and Droodles have done Videos about it and tried to convince players its Not rigged however false Info is sticky. So can you please Do something about it? (i dont think the MM is flawless, however i think its Not rigged)

MM is balanced by the tanks both teams have not by the player skills. In my opinion player skills should also be considered in MM ans well as the tanks both teams use. When one team gets all the noobs and the other team all the decent players the MM will suck than and the outcome of the battle is clear. Also a 48%wr is considere as average and therefor i like to see in tier 8-10 players with 48%wr and above. This will make tier 8-10 exclusive for players with some skills and for lower wr people a goal to improve themselves to play in those tiers

But how Do you measures skill? Winrate is hardly a good proxy for that and other metrics will make the waiting time even longer. What i would Do is introduce sub classes like Superheavy, turreted TD, scout, etc and making Sure every Team gets the same amount of tanks of each sub class from the same tier. Had a Match in which the enemy Team had 2 lights, we didnt even have one. That should not be possible. However skill based MM can Not be the solution as a proxy for skill is very Hard to find.

I haven't watched the video, but I've seen summaries of it, and it seems like all he did was just rehash an article written by jylpah from EU server, which shows that it is likely that the fun modes like mad games, realistic, gravity, etc... do have some skill based matchmaking implemented (probably using career wr as a proxy)

But what the video leaves out is that the article also shows that normal battles are not rigged, and are indeed, random

He Analyzed the MM in mad games and found the enemy Team to have a higher average winrate than his Team. That is his whole Argument for a rigged MM. He says its rigged and wants people with higher winrates, as both of the cases Analyzed had over 60% to Lose as they are Matched with lower wr players. The Thing is, He knows WR is Not a good proxy for skill but He doenst say it in the Video which is my first problem with the whole Thing. Secondly analyzing mad games is really Not a good Mode as winning or losing there has very little to Do with skills imho. Also what you said, He leaves out that random battles are in fact random. MM don't know which tanks are good, bad or OP, it just choose aleatory based in only 2 things (4 if you play in EU or RU servers)

• Number of tank types (there can't be more than 4 tanks at the same type at tier 5-10 as I remmeber)
• Equality of tiers, both teams will have the same number of tanks in bottom tier or in top tier (also, you won't see 2 tiers higher or lower unless if there's a failtoon)
  On EU/RU servers:
• less than 30% wr players go to a special mm with more 30% players and bots
• newbies (less than 5k battles according to MM) will get a MM with more newbies and bots

The Problem is you cannot really keep players from playing a certain tier just by winrate alone as that would create seal clubbing. I would introduce a Minimum career average damage requirement of 100 * tier you want to play. So you need 800 average career damage to play tier 8. And then i would maybe also introduce the requirement to have at least 1 third class medal in the lower tier, so a 3rd class medal in Tier 7 and 800 career average damage to play tier 8

I do not touch it by my finger, but somehow with my hand when I hold the ipad. All the other buttons are able to move in the touch editor except this button. (The sniper skill also counts as an increased chance, my point is that when it comes to a module being in a critical state it doesn't increase the percent chance that damage will be done)

I just don't understand how he can say "numbers aren't the problem" when you have TWENTY THOUSAND PLAYERS in those tanks. And considering that they are selling more crates that have a 3% drop chance for the smasher, they are ignoring the fact that these tanks are destroying games for everyone at tier 6-8. Sure, everything could look good on paper, but it's how it affects the playerbase that is the most important. Like missiles, statistically they were balanced, but in battle they were too abused to be balanced. The difference is that these tanks aren't even statistically balanced.

The fact that these tanks have been sold for stupidly cheap and they are as powerful as they are is still baffling to me, although they are fairly uncommon to be matched with or against, so there is some “balancing” in play

Smasher: Turret factor, trollish turret, 152mm gun, Better precision than SU-152, slightly slower reload than SU-152 (2 seconds slower, but still a good reload for a 152mm gun), high HEAT and HE penetration + bonus (apparently, it's AP don't lose penetration over distance, but it's according to blitzhangar)

WG reserve the all the rights (or a great part of the rights, like on special tanks from GuP, WH 40k, Fury, etc) of everything they have in-game. It's on the game's EULA if I remember well.

If WG wants, they can nerf, buff, change, delete or add everything they want because the game is exclusively WG's, so you can't simply sue them for changing a vehicle's stats, you accepted that WG owns the right of everything in-game and you also accept that they can do everything they want in-game.

KV-220 some years on the EU shops, it's pretty rare but still with op armor, the gun is quite bad about penetration but the precision isn't that bad and neither the DPM (which is pretty high when compared to other 75-76mm cannons)
Ke-Ni Otsu is also another example, it's extremely rare but have 1945 DPM in tier 3

I recommend to developers to make another camouflage, since the new camo is futuristic and first of its kind, many people prefer or expected historical camouflage. So, Kranvagn has 2 camouflages, I recommend making 2nd camouflage for Czechoslovakian T10 which will be either historical or nationalistic (like Swedish flag/symbols on kranvagn), and if there will be 2nd camouflage for the TVP T50/51. It should represent two countries, Slovakia and Czechia. It would be a nice new concept of camouflage because we are two nations.

make a feature so that players can sell or buy tanks between players. The price is customized but shouldnt go too far from the "official" price, and to make sure you guys dont lose so much profit, there could be gold or credit fee per transactions between player.

If it’s a premium tank, you restore it with credits.
Collectors are restored with gold.
The amount of currency needed to restore a tank reflects how much you sold it for in the first place,.

You need the minimum it says in the restoration table. If you don’t have enough credits, you cannot restore it. Though, I’d advise getting a little extra ontop of the restoration cost so you can afford putting on consumables, equipment etc @midnight spindle

I devs read this - why won't wargamming nerf or remove the annihilator from the game its clearly broken, but they have stated that there isn't enough of them to "break the match maker" so lets see Im getting some of this information from blitzstars if you are wondering first of all its the second most played tank in the game with over 3 million battles (with 13,000 players) this means that each player is playing 250 battles in the annihilator (and this is only the stats that are from players with 50 battles in the annihilator in a 90 day period also it has the highest win-rate of any tier 7 heavy tank sitting at 61% which is a lot considering that 13,000 people play the tank . Also its top 3 when it come to dpm only behind the black prince and the fv201 which are dpm gods it also has one of the lowest aimtimes of any tier 7 heavy tank only comming behind the fv201 and predator ultramarine It has one the best dispersion of any tier 7 heavy tank only behind the fv201 and black prince it has the highest top speed of any tier 7 heavy tank this is without the boost btw it has the highest win rate of any tier 7 heavy tank, it has the highest average damage of any tier 7 heavy tank it has the highest damage ratio of any tier 7 heavy tank it has the highest average kills of any tier 7 heavy tank it also has the highest kills per death ratio of any tank the survival rate is almost 50% thats comparing to just tier 7 heavys tnak what about all tier 7 tanks? well it has the highest winrate of any tier 7 the highest average damage literaly all of its performance stats are better than any tank at tier 7 it only gets beat when it comes to spotting the only tank in the game with a higher damage ratio is the helsing the only tank that did something better than spotting against the annihilator and I will do one better it has better stats then every tier 8 heavy tank only having less average damage then the e75ts the amx m4 45 the emill 1951 the shark and the is 6 fearless

Annihilator is a premium tank. WG can't move this tank stat. The only way to balnce it is to buff all T7 that aren't competitive versus this tank. But by doing that they can't buff others premiums tanks at T7 and they must buff T6 tanks (and same here they can't buff T6 premiums) and buff T8 tanks (same wich premium). So because they must buff all tiers tanks (without buffing premiums) to balance annihilator, they prefer to let this broken tank in game. But i am agree that the "i doesn't affect MM !" answer is not real, annihilator spam is a reallity and you can't change tank status.

The defender lootboxes and other major boxes that only have a 3% drop rate are NOT okay to me and I do not purchase them. I understand that they can be addictive to buy for some who dont understand odds or dont care. 20,000 credits is about 100 us dollars for some of those mega boxes they have sometimes. Agression is okay as long as it has a purpose 🤚👍

Overall when I say I buy them a lot it's with earnings in game not gold. Also tournaments can give you tokens to get things like avatars and camo.

I hope this changes your view of what I said, I'm not proud of little kids buying lootboxes, but I am proud of earning one and getting a rare drop

I'm a stubborn guy and I've my my choice; I hate all the loot boxes, even if there's a few of them that are acceptable. One example of acceptable are those premium tank boxes by tier (buy a tier 5 loot box = a tier 5 tank. If you get a tank that you already had, you get a tier 6 loot box.) or the ones that you're not going to lose money directly or indirectly because you aren't spending Gold or real money, for example. These 2 types of loot boxes are acceptable, even if I still hate them.

Economic agression against the costumer isn't always okay even if it has a purpose, but it's forgivable if the costumer won't actually lose somethinf.

You may not approve of crates, but you have to remember that WG is a company and they need to make money. Although it is a form of gambling, WG never makes anyone buy those crates, and if children are doing it, that it's their choice. The argument of them being under 18 I don't feel is valid here. I'm 17 and I fully recognise that if I buy crates I know what I'm doing. Many other games like 8 Ball Pool, with ratings of like 3+, promote gambling too with daily free spins. The reason that people get so mad with crates is because normally they don't get what they think they're going to get. I assure you if you get every reward from every crate you wanted, you would not care. Crates will generally bring in a greater revenue in the stores and so its understandable that WG use them. The game can be played completely free to play, while still offering opportunities to get free tanks and gold e.g xmas free snow globe, or if you watch free daily videos, you can get over 18k gold a year for free. So although WG may promote them, no one is forcing under 18's like me to get them. The statistics are almost always posted, so we know our drop chances and can choose to take our chances, and if someone is spending more than they can afford to, that is their fault. Furthermore, you can't blame a company for how much a child may be spending, it is vital for the company to make money to keep functioning, so the responsibility should be in the parents here to monitor what their child is doing or spending and to control that if necessary

Personally, I can't stand crates. I very rarely buy them. That is my decision as a consumer. I do not let my children by loot boxes. That is my responsibility as a parent.

As far as right or wrong goes. The definitions are very ambiguous. if you wanted to you could say every purchase of digital content is wrong. You are not getting anything, you do not own anything that you've bought, and honestly it could all disappear in a millisecond.

Going back to my son's accounts, all of his accounts are linked to my email so if he makes a purchase I know about it immediately. In addition to this I've raised him so that he knows he has to get permission before he purchases something. Once again it is my responsibility as a parent to raise my children. I do not want or need the government or game developers to step in and try and fill this role for me.

But that quite simply isn’t the case, and thus most governments decided that they want to stop harmful practices to protect the general population. Gambling is only great for one person and that is the host, everyone else just suffers in the long term.

Allow me to be a bit hypocritical here: There's 3 types of loot boxes that are much less harmful. I still hate those but they're acceptable.

• The ones that you always win (like the 2020 snowglobe, or those tier loot boxes)
• Free weekly loot boxes (it's not gambling if you're going to lose nothing
• Loot boxes with guaranteed parts ( so there will be no infinite gambling as our friend @mint hound said)
  Otherwise, the loot boxes are purely gambling systems that want to milk every cent from you and need to stop; or by the hand of the costumer (which won't happen cuz of addicted people) or by the hand of law

Ok what is the most lucrative way a developer can earn money? It’s not loot boxes, it is the battle pass. The reason for this would be the battle pass provides a sense of accomplishment for the player. if I can be top 3 in Xp earned then maybe I can get the next tier. N Now let’s make a comparison that a player spent 10 dollars for a battle pass and another who spent 10 dollars on 5 loot boxes. Is the player who spent money on loot boxes guaranteed anything? NO! The player is left empty handed because they were unlucky. Now compare that to the person who bought the battle pass. That player has an opportunity to get more out of the game what with extra challenges or cosmetics.

Mmmmm, gambling, fun topic. There are definitely differing stipulations in terms of what is legal and not in certain countries. The Netherlands, for example, banned all online gambling from 18 and below. My point being that Wargaming needs to be careful with how they advertise crates especially towards children that can be manipulated easy. Should I explain why they are manipulated easier than adults or is that common sense?

If it were the parent's faults for their kids purchasing crates, then Wargaming should compensate by taking partial responsibility of these mistakes. My suggestion is to restrict crate purchases to 18 years and above to minimize the chance of accidental crate purchases from kids. At the same time, however, parents must also take responsibility for how they monitor their child's online purchases more efficiently. This is a symbiotic relationship between parents and WG, so communication between the two in terms of crates and the risk of gambling should also be increased to prevent aforementioned accidents from happening as often. But yes, I do agree that parents have the major responsibility for what their child does on the internet.

WG announces odds for all ‘loot crate’ items that are sold. The free ones (or free unless you decided to buy) don’t have odds published as they are timed release free crates and don’t have to have odds listed. You can’t sue WG in the US, simply because they haven’t done anything wrong. If you are that upset at loot crates - write your state Senators and Congressional Rep.

I agree, the amount of people playing the smasher and the annilator are endless, they are selling more crates, which make more people buy it which gives them more money and makes the game more broken. They also have no reason to not nerf the smasher. They don't know how many players are due to these broken tanks. People platoon in these tanks just to have pleasure watching other players suffer. Since update 7.3, I have never seen a match with no smasher/ anniltor in the matchmaking.

Well biggest killer of the game currently are operations in my opinion. They give out tons of free exp which results plague of noobs, even tier 10 is unplayable now. I spent my all free exp on the christmas soo like 3 months ago and now ( without spending any free exp, no buying any ) I got 600k.... And now add x3 for tanks, -25% discount for researching...
