Am I missing something or are these scorpion crates useless if you don’t spend money on a freaking key.
A funny thought on the side.
If you want to label a product in my country after a ingredient, the ingredient must be the main part of the product. E.g apple juice must contain juice from real apples, otherwise you have to label it „Apple like juice“ if it is made from apple juice concentrate or something similar.
Thus the scorpion crate should rather be called „scorpion like crate“ because 95% of it is useless crap!!!

Tbh they shouldnt sell skorpion, it's just gonna ruin tier 8 more
Some player was asking me (on rating battles) how did I get skorpion, like he did 0 dmg on rating battles and he didnt even have any researchable tanks thats higher than tier 5, he bought like three or four tier 8 tanks. Players who are inexperienced on the game shouldn't be allowed to play ratings especially if they only have like premium tanks

I get it, players hate crates, even I do (been a free to play player since 2016) but do you want to see the game slowly dying (which sort of is), then why complain while it’s really the players that causing this madness. Like I said earlier, would you seriously want to see games full of good prems and destroying the game. there is a reason why tanks in crates have a low percentage as WG doesn’t want to see so many of them in the games. At this point I have almost no hope in the player base, wanting or even forcing WG to give prems for free. It’s like the Blitz Fair, people complaining that getting the T22 was pay to win while the tank itself is a bit too good. A game with more than 4 or 5 T22s would literally destroy the mm in Tier 9 and 10. And I can agree most bundles when they first come out are far too overpriced. Worst case scenario is matches full of people with prems and making the game literally unplayable, the best case scenario that I can think of is the tanks aren’t played as often like now. Plus, would you want to ruin other’s experience in the game. I certainly don’t. You should probably be happy that there aren’t that many good prems on the battlefield right now or the worst thing would happen and you would start complaining at WG for giving most of the player based a good prem when really it’s your fault for causing. I am expecting a lot of hate from this so I’ll see what will happen next

I think that what wargaming has continuously done is despicable. The notion that loot crates are a viable way of earning rewards is disgusting. The only viable thing that this marketing tool truly is, is gambling. You gamble when you buy these crates, you take a spin on slot machines. As if it’s not bad enough, WG and it’s community know that a silent majority of its players are children on iPads and mobile devices. These factors combined make a dynamic that has benefitted WG the most time and time again, and they know this. The crates won’t stop. The kids won’t stop asking dad and mom to please use their credit card, and WG will not stop making money off of the game. It’s not bad that they make the money, it’s despicable that they choose gambling to do so. I cannot fathom the logic behind the gambling decision, and can’t stop thinking that WG becomes more and more money-hungry every time I log into the game. Don’t delete this message. It isn’t crude it’s an opinion.

There is so much wrong with Dr Tankula's statement. Social responsibility of companies. Education and control of children, or the harm it can cause if you overdo the controlling. Luckily for WG, they cast such issues aside in their EULA so they don't have to stand up to their responsibility.

I find news of ever new methods that attempt to push players towards gambling troublesome, whether they concern children or grown-ups. There is a place for lottery/games of chance in games, but not in such a predatory way.

On the plus side, the pricing is more often than not reasonable and there are numerous other offers besides the crates that pop up regularly. I actually thought that Wargaming is on a good way concerning crates, but this lock and key system just throws all the progress in the right direction away...

It would be good if those parts of a tank at some point could be finished so you get a whole tank, what is the point to have 1/10 of a tank waiting forever for the next part.

It would be fair if it always would be possible to buy a tank, then it would be ok to buy lucky crates. Now when there is no upper limit, only drop rates, it is promoting unhealthy gambling and is not good for the game renome

Maybe WG should put some of that $500m (estimated) annual revenue to use, and start hiring people to listen to the community instead of going by the advice of tone-deaf executives who couldn't care less about the player-base or passionate community. Anyway, western countries are finally starting to realise that these games targeted at children should not have gambling or other scummy marketing techniques. I hope wargaming reaps what they sow, in the form of government action, or a class action lawsuit from concerned parents. Their games do not deserve the ESRB and PEGI ratings, and i hope that they are altered in the future. Also, am i allowed to link to articles that explain what i am saying/further my point.

It's not a prize for winning you still recieve them in the case of a loss too @bronze chasm. Your complaints make less and less sense.

Skorpion G is one of the stronger Tier 8 tanks, and given how there is a good chance to receive a tank after opening a set of 5 they would prefer to keep it locked which I understand.

I think it would have been a better idea to have some small compensation for exchanging the crates (maybe just a small amount of credits) so people actually get something back, and to have ways to get the keys through other purchases like bundles and gold purchases so it's a little extra bonus.

Just came to express an opinion: Blitz e-sports is on the verge of death and that the majority of the 50+wr playerbase is leaving.
1st) With all of the controversies, conflicts of opinions, recent events and deeds, it is quite clear that the e-sports community is collapsing in from the inside. With Rolling and now with Pixelrage leaving the youtube area (both with a substantial amount of subs for a blitz youtuber) and both focused solely on tournaments, the viewever base will die down too making e sports even more irrelevant.
2nd) For the last 2 weeks, I have had 7 friends, all over 50%wr leave the game, each with similar but not exact frustration to the others. Even though I have played very few pub. matches recently I have seen a huge decline in above average people and it feels as if they have either quit or play extremely seldomly. I myself am thinking about a long term vacation from the game because it is quite clear WG just don't give a single care about the problems that are in the game.

@frank talon The gold boosters are actually a good deal, especially if you play well at tier 10. Even for a 40%er at tier 10 you get 4900 gold for £9.99 if you buy the 350 bundle, which is better value than every offer to buy gold apart from the 500 gold for £0.99 which can only be bought once.

So what you want to do is this; once you reach the appropriate Teir, (I believe it's Teir 4 or 5, I forget) you get a new slot below your tank labeled: "Appearance." Once you click on that, you select the camo feature (it'll say summer, winter and desert) click on one of those and choose your camo! (Alot of the COOL camos can be unlocked with gold or premium, but basic camo can be unlocked with credits.) If you'd like to keep your camo for future games, then select the resupply tab, and it will (you guessed it, resupply your camo). If you can't see your camo in battle, don't worry! It's still there and you still get the added concealment. What you need to do is go to settings, to the graphics section and scroll down to "camouflage." Switch the setting to either "for player" or "for all", and then you'll be able to see the camo you have chosen. I hope this was helpful. 🙂

Not sure if they have yet, they are doing some work.on the tech trees. But it isnt being "removed", just from the texh tree. Those who have it will keep it, just like the Foch 155 and the FV215b-183. They removed both of those TDs from the tech tree, but those who.owned them got to keep them

Well thats not 100% true. It is on Android and thats too distribution of Linux but much more edited. But they could just release the indenpendent installer without having Steam or Microsoft store so we could run it on Wine or Play On Linux and enable purchases thru their website like on big WoT. That could make more people (not much) to play this game. I know we are so small group of people. But think, if they release it for Debian based Linux, than too chromebooks can run it at full desktop experience. These support Android apps but imagine playing on only touch support on these. And chromebooks are being bought more often and if they do Debian version, both Linux based computers and Chromebooks can run it.

Steam restricts Non Linux games to install on them and there is not installer to run with wine @cyan glen

@midnight spindle So it’s under the appearance tab in the main garage. I’m pretty sure you have to reach Tier 5 to unlock it. So you’d go to appearance and there are the camos. Some cost Credits, others gold. Some, you can only unlock using chests you get by completing missions.

Event tank idea, Tiger 2 H, either tier 8 or tier 9, it has a bit more armor in front and alot on sides with Spaced armor on sides

Or 100% tier 9 Tiger 2 CH, same armor as E75 with stronger lower plate and more side armor on both hull and tower with spaced armor

i think WG can nerf the front armor and buff the side armor
pre buff tiger 2 front armor but with better side armor and HEAT shields

Actually like the E 50 Ausf. iMaginary tank. It has the M for modernised which is the typical Russian way for counting tank variants (the year of the variant) and has nothing to do with what Germany would have done. M would mean that it’s the twelfth variant of the tank

Yes. It's a special order commonly known as alphabet. Some variants also get numbers for minor upgrades. Other than that it's literally ABCDEtc. And the tanks themselves were counted by Roman numbers, e.g. Pz. I, Pz. II etc.

Those are for tanks accepted into service, prototypes were called VK weight.variant producer (yes, they are not called VK two thousand and two M but VK twenty point two by MAN). It's not entirely clear what VK means, some say Vollkette which basically means full-track and some say Versuchkonstruktion which basically means experimental construction.

Sd.Kfz. (Sonderkraftfahrzeug, or specialised vehicle) are numbered with Arab numbers (1-infinity) and have their variants added to the end of the name by a slash and the number of the variant. Tanks are also counted as Sd.Kfz. and have their specific Sd.Kfz. numbers. Please note that there are four counting categories (1-99, 100-199, 200-299 and 300+) though the categories are not strictly divided by type; there is only a basic but not thorough differentiation.

Unlike the Soviets or the Japanese (and initially the American) German equipment is not numbered by the year it was approved or ordered or whatever, but it literally just counting up by Arab or Roman numbers or simply alphabetically

Uhm no. Any time any crate is sold to any player it just validates the idea that crates sell. The reason WG releases tanks in crate is because they know players will buy them. They also know that those who don't get the tank from a crate will turn around and buy it when it is put up for sale later on. They basically get to sell a person the tank twice. If players don't like crates they need to stop buying them. For all the complaining that goes on here about them the fact of the matter is that crates are sold because crates SELL.

They lost me when I bought 13 alpha predator containers and got ZERO TANKS FROM IT. 25$ made by using a stupid luck-based mechanic that means that I won't get it, but a guy with 100 battles will. I've spent over 300$ in this game because I enjoyed it, but when they started adding crates they screwed the entire experience. Now it's not who's the most skilled players, but the ones who either spend the most or are the luckiest players.

@wraith iron Are you loading HE? You should not be doing 40 dmg per shot in tier 5.... unless youre using a leopard. What tank are you facing? Is it an SU100/KV1S/KV2? Different tanks have different armour, if you go into sniper mode and you see red highlighting, dont shoot the red highlighting, it will do 0 damage. Are you using a light? youre tank has less armour. DM me if u have questions

Hey this is a suggestion for the game: Rather than giving us x5 xp etc. during some weekends (I really like it and if possible it should stay in addition to my suggestion) as the main way to help players grind tanks create a system/event similar to 'Top of the Tree' on WoT PC which comes around once every second or third month and can help newer players who are willing to invest a decent amount of time into blitz some help getting up the tiers.

@wet plinth We can only register around 60 fps, you’re right. But technically, the way we perceive motion supports up to like 1000 fps. That’s why 120 fps is buttery smooth and 60 fps can seem choppy (to the trained eye). I can tell you right now that it’s pretty easy to tell the difference between playing 60 fps and 120 fps. I can see my team dying right before my eyes in buttery creamy 120 fps instead of normal 60 fps.

The issue is data is stored on the server and you have to login to your account before you can play. Offline play won't work.

Also, you could use single player campaigns as a sort of mini tutorial, showing players how to angle their armour and teaching players about different ammunition types.

Most of the graphical stuff is stored on the device, while mechanics, like the hit-model, the visual system and the shots are all calculated and processed on the server. having them on the client side opens the gates for actual hackers/ crackers, that go beyond your point-of-view (camera), appearance of the vehicles (skins) and information on the screen (crosshairs, stats of an enemy player/ vehicle, etc.). You cannot actually play the game with the data stored on the device alone

@noble remnant I'm not sure, but Blitz runs on a different engine from PC, and the Blitz team as you know is separate from the PC team. All I know is that WG has tried before, and failed.

Also, since marks of excellence is basically the same thing as emblems from a technical standpoint, those also aren't coming. It's not that they don't want to add them, they've stated before that they were going to, they just can't. And emblems is a thing that WG would love to be able to add too, since it's a pretty cheap way to add monetization to the game. Making an emblem is far easier than making new 3d models for new tanks and attachments, or even legendary camos

Doing 15 Wins in a row really isnt too hard when playing solo. Imagine if I was able to platoon with a third player of my skill level, sure I would have fun and get Wr but it would ruin peoples days. And if I was solo against a platoon of 3 people of my skill I would quit the game for the day, just unwinnable.. If you want to play with friends go to training rooms or quick tournaments mate, anyways sorry for a long reply, hope this helps understand why this won't be implemented although I do think a 3v3 game mode would be sick.

um how about no, PC's su130 pm is OP, then there is the fact of dmg differences. P.C. has more tanks in a battle and the fact that every td has improved alpha, so this would not fit in blitz or at least in my perspective. Blitz maps are not too small for larger team sizes—some maps would work well with larger teams, imo; all lanes could have action, rather than 1-2 per game
I’m in favor generally of larger teams for special modes, maybe realistic?
The problem I think is lack of active players to fill these larger teams. The mode would have to be restricted to a smaller range of tiers, or feature +2/-2 MM

Free xp would then become useless as it is used to upgrade stock tanks mostly and if this would be a thing free xp would be only used to skip over tanks so you dont need to touch them thus making it easier to reach higher tiers quicker and a lot of people find it being a problem that new players get to tier 10 quickly

Don't know if I'm supposed to say it here and don't care, nowadays, we probably got the worst MM ever, I play since 2015 and it's awful, 8 times on 10 low tier, with gold noobs 7 times of it and when you're top tier your "team" is much worse! It's a shame that it's only money and don't gameplay you think to! +1/-1 must be 50/50 to make us able to do something even when we got noobs, and there's so much more noobs since 2 months! Doing more than 2k in tier 6 and losing game because teammates have done 700 for the best of the six and with 3 or 4 guys Max 300 damages... The game become boring whatever happen with events! No pleasure to play now and I no longer want to spend money for a game like that! Make tutorials for noobs so they'll be able to play well faster, because seeing so many players with 8-15k battles enable to have better wr than 45% and give us at least 4 guys like that in a team it's boring!

Kv220 is op wdym but also I think they should make all the certificates for research and purchasing vehicles not have a timer or at least like a 24 hours timer or maybe a 1 week timer because most people rarely get to use them within that timer unless you’ve pre planned everything out so I have made this suggestion

Apparently the maps are too small for Japanese heavies, same reason was quoted for their decision not to add Swedish TD’s or French wheeled vehicles.

The short answer is that not adding Japanese heavies has nothing to do with balance.

The reason why Japanese heavies and Swedish TDs is because WG doesn’t know how to code them into the game. For Japanese heavies they were having issues with the model size, and with Swedish TDs they don’t know how to do the siege mode. But in order to save face and look competent, their nominal excuse for both is “these vehicles would not suit Blitz gameplay”

I think that indeed for the Swedish TD's, one of the main problems is the seat mode which is the main interest on PC. Coding this on Blitz is complicated because there are many more contacts and the parts are much faster. Mode useless seat on Blitz to my liking. However I do not see why heavy Japanese are complicated to code.
We do have the Maus branch with 3 huge tanks in the last three thirds. The Japanese heavies tanks branch will add some more gameplay, I don’t see what the problem is.

Yeah wotb is different than wot pc bud @mighty vigil on wotb a crate tier X is a tech tree sometimes on wot pc. Wotb can’t really have thousands of tanks like wot pc can so they slowly release the tanks and/or make them collectors

I think that Blitz follows the same direction as Wot PC in terms of number of tanks. It is only a question of balancing, I think that all the tanks of the PC version can be balanced on Blitz ( except the artillery obviously, well, I hope... ). Look, at the beginning of Blitz we thought that the barrels could not be integrated on Blitz, in the end we have AMX 50B, T57 Heavy, BC, progetto, etc...

Why is the ping and packet loss so bad now, it use to be not so bad. My idea behind this all, is you have to many players on at the same time and so much content in the game. That the servers can barely run. Please update your guys servers we desperately need it. I’d rather have the servers updated than have new content, I’m basically telling WG to (Slow There Role) for a minute and ask to them self’s, what does the game need most.

New defender will be the Ru 251 defender, all defenders were based off a tech tree from a specific nation, a specific tank type. We don’t have a German defender and we don’t have a light tank defender, plus all the tech tree versions were non autoloading. I think it will be the Ru 251

@gilded dirge Because it breaks the game rules. Sharing account details (and accounts) is forbidden and to give, sell or share your account you need to give away your account details. The rule is essential for WG as it covers them for when people get "hacked" or they gave away their details and something bad happened.

Chimera wing with lowering or putting another spout with less recharge time would be better because having 13.1 with improvements being a medium tank is very slow, even so recharging a cannon with less damage and less reload time would be balanced in medium tank

So what if you give your account to someone else (just login and pass) and have the new person set up a new email to then switch to and use? That way it becomes only there’s. Plus who’s tracking these “exchanges” anyways?? I’m sure people share accounts all the time and just play the tanks normally. If hacking or loss of access to account happens, wouldn’t it be the original owner’s fault and only their responsibility?! I understand the terms & conditions and all that, but let’s be honest, this stuff still happens lol

@shy root You are sharing your login details which is against the rules as I've said before. If there was no rule then WG could be held responsible for not taking care of people's accounts. Account selling happens a fair amount, or at least people try it. I've been followed by maybe 3 or 4 different Instagram accounts from the wotb page that freely advertise that they sell accounts. I think you can get banned permanently for trying to sell your account but I'm not sure.
