Let's recall all the lot stages one more time here also:

1. The initial stage - info only, no bidding possible. Usually 20h
2. Bidding - well, possibility to make bids. Usually 2h.
3. Last call - —the crucial one! Each new bid that changes the list of winning bids resets the 10-minute countdown to the end of the Auction. It lasts till the final bid is made that no one can top. If you remain among the top bidders following this stage, you'll get the lot. The stage usually is limited to 2 hours.

After that the results will be processed in few hours.

There is no fixed final price, since there many prizes (let's say 5000 as for today's lot), so for Thunderstorm Camo lot the goal to win is to be in those top 5000 bids.
Competitive bid is not the final price. It is just rough bid amount you need to make to beat 75% of players on the list of winning bids at that specific moment.

It does no guarantee the win in the lot, it is just a hint how much to bid to overbid 75% of winning bids in this particular moment. It guarantees that you will enter the winning list at that moment higher than 75% bids.

As the lot progresses, the competitive bid may increase significantly, due to big number of participants and bigger bids.

Ok so there are two things here. One is theoretical and mathematical
In this theoretical part if any bid exceeds the competitive bid its (right now at this very moment) is winning.
BUT it may change as soon as new bids come.

The second thing is how it actually works in game and more specifically how it visually shows you everything. And an issue here is that there are visual delays and also pings
There is at least 1 sec delay when bids refresh. So imagine you bid the competitive and thought oh, Im winning yeah?
But if in the same time a lot of people increased bid, you may no longer be in competitive and you may not now it for a sec. And if this sec is the last one... You technically lost. But didnt have chance to actually see it on the screen.

So see what im saying - from math point of view competitive bid is always winning IN CURRENT moment
But in reality - shown numbers DO NOT guarantee you anything. So thats why in all news it says about high chances, not guarantees

At auction, we all may like to get something for cheap.
Technically we all bid ( or simply do not participate ) for a chance to make it into the top 100, 500, 1000 or so units for sale.

But is is the players individually that have to decide how much they think something is worth.

A player just has to think through the process, and decide if it is something they want to spend time and resources on, or not.

Of course it is the opposite of the other " auction " with lowering prices ... at fixed price points.

it can be a camo icon in the storage, then you apply it and it is available on the tank OR
the camo is being automatically unlocked on the tank (this is the case with today's auction lot).

So, please don't be worried, if you won the lot, but have no tank, you still got the camo, it will be available after getting the vehicle. Hope it answers the question

I think since players r driving the price up, and there is an issue with active players n bidding players, bid is double the number of active in the server. That leads me into thinking of “ phantom bids” exists. A suggestion to this is that at the end of the auction slot, give a list of players nicknames that gets the prize but hide the amount they bid, so dat as a prove that they are real people not “phantom”. As we could search them in the game. It really feels phantom to me when online players r just half of the bidding players……

So i think this way of doing this is pretty beneficial to them but not for average spender or f2p like in the older auctions but for those there is plenty of opportunities to spend their ressources as well, like mystery containers and special store offers.

Thought I might post here about my support ticket experience "ID 148567769". I reported the Christmas store was showing the label 'Claim' and then took 100K Free XP from my resources (which I assume it opened a container). As of this Morning Wargaming changed the label to 'Purchase'. But then the response from the Support ticket is they can do nothing to refund what they took. I'm getting pretty tired of Wargaming Support being dismissive and not communicating with the Development team. Instead is is a very sucks to be you response. It really feels like a kick in the butt as I bought the 50K containers getting garbage. Alls I requested is to refund the 100K XP ... and that was too much for them.

Anyway I am not going to say more. Posted my interaction with WG support. We all know what players are going through the past year with the escalating prices for digital content. Its a sad example when people cannot sit there and do the math by looking at the Premium Store and In Game store and not realized who is being milked. New Players = sustainable business. But if same player base which continues to dwindle because they get feed up. Well that is a failing business model. Am I missing something? It is costing WG to re-platform + maintain the existing game. I am thankful that I have enough self control to wait for a store sale. It is my observation along with numerous other individuals in and outside of my clan, that every time the game modes are offered and cycled through whether it be Big Boss, gravity, gravitizing or whatever other mode... Big Boss and those that love playing it is always shafted and gets the short end of the stick by only being offered for a fraction of the time other modes are offered. 10v10 was implemented what 2 years ago or less than that and we've add well over a month or 2 months worth of 10 V10 playing time, where big boss at most has only been offered in the same time, 2-3 weeks at best. Can someone explain to me why certain game modes are offered for a longer duration over others?

This game, It's all just pixels and nothing, thin air and it's become an addiction spending time interacting with it and some throwing money at it. Now they'll suck you dry just so you can get your fix of pixels.

The gold and these golden tickets have absolutely zero value, but people are willing to spend large amounts of real tangible cash just to obtain a pixel. It just doesn't make sense, like junkies getting their fix.
But this is modern gaming I guess, but wg has to be one of the top predatory one s of all time.

WotInspector has those locations for many tanks in their armor inspector mode. If you really want to damage a tank's internal modules, look it up and remember the location.

Honestly I wonder if half the problem is WG server since had a match earlier where was on 5G in town with high af ping with 3 bars as seen here but on 4G 2 bars I'll have way better ping (literally 100 or less) but on 5G I can easily load pics on discord just fine so thats kinda suspicious
