Can you make some special section so it was easier to find teams for tournaments? Or in-game options.
As I tried it turned out that for tier VIII setup some of teammates could go with tier VII tanks only. No chances for the win as the result. Rather upsetting experience in general.

Does the WG staff actually read this channel? I'm not sure what to do next, I put a ticket in for game loading issues (sometimes I'm already getting shot at by the time i get in), but this is never an issue in Ratings battles. They close out my ticket blaming the device, but i have trouble believing that if it's always fine in Ratings. I feel like this is actually just a programming issue on the other game modes, which mostly started around the Nov update. Is it better to open a new ticket reiterating that point? Or is there actually a way to see if someone can look into it?

The battles are way too chaotic and unbalanced and that's not tank wise. Tanks can be defeated. It's player wise. I constantly get 40% win rate players that have about 1k battles. I have 35k battles so I don't understand why those players are even allowed to play with me or anyone above 5k. Ofc I don't say that they should be isolated. But at least make special mm for them to advance. Instead every battle they are in my team or against me. And I hate to see it. First because it ruins the battles by those players not contributing anything. They just rush and die doing 0 damage.
Second the excitement for winning a tough battle is gone. And if anything that was one of the few things about the game that made it positive. Now it's just one team that receives decent players vs another that gets the lowest of the list. We deserve to know what was changed.
I'm sorry for anyone that has to read this book that I wrote but yeah. We have to know

I am one of those 43% guys, and it's just as painful to play with high win rate players all the time and still lose more often. Yet I can't put my finger on what has changed. Since last update I do find myself closing the program and walking away. Too many 7-1 sweeps. It's almost as if win rate has become meaningless. Players with bad winrate or overall performance should be put with equal players and maybe the devs should implement a better way to teach players how to play so that the mm will be equal. When a tank has statistical advantage over every tank in its tier it is broken. The fact it encounters tier 8 s is not something that determines how good the tank is. It's like saying that tier 9 s are bad cause they encounter tier 10s. Tier for tier is what matters when comparing how op a tank is. Is the annihilator op? I think so. Statistically it has everything. It has dpm. 600+ alpha if all shells connect. And even if not u still hang around 400 which is solid. Your turret traverse is quicker than any light can go in a circle. Your top speed is good and you have special consumables. Not to forget the armor which makes no sense considering the others stats. Do I like the annihilator? Not really. Is it op? I'd say so.
Compare it to any tier 7 and it will outperform it

And yes the anni has lower penetration but again. It will face tier 6-8 it will only struggle in the tier 8 battles so yeah. Anni is solid. Might try it and see how it feels. Haven't played it since it got released

Sure, I agree there is always room for improvement but I’ve ran into another player who’s 59. I saw him and said hey, you’re 59. I’m 59. Let’s work together. After each of us doing 4k each we still managed to lose the match. What’s funny was I saw his user had an underscore so did quick check on stats on battle countdown. 😂 the guy was totally chill and nearly had it down. Then got focused to death.

What you posted says “low combat effectiveness.” Staff clarified that by saying that wr isn’t even in the formula. A very ineffective player, serial afker or troll will often have a very low winrate but a 60% player who decided to troll enough battles could establish a pattern that puts them in the separate queue too.

Yes! For mobile user like me, didn't want suffer in most of time lagging out in the middle game, However this is most implemented to other games to boost up the gameplay for not lagging out.

Lagging to me is primarily a function of internet / network connectivity - as long as you have a capable device - and internet / network is handled by the device and the operating system; not the game.

And, then as long as you have a good connection within the home or to the cellphone tower ... then it is all down to how far you live from the servers, and what goes on, on the internet.

So, there's is not like one thing WG can do to make you have a better or faster connection.

And, if a device has more than one connection, either the operating system decides; or the user has to make the decision.

Like if you are home, but outside and the wifi is poor, a cellphone may decide to stick with the bad wifi connection, instead of moving over to cellular data.

The unfortunate fact is what we buy in game isn’t really owned by us. If you bought a car, you can modify it how ever you want, or keep it the way it is. The dealer or manufacturer can’t control what you do to the car after you bought it (unless recall). Here, WG owns the tank and we are simply given access to certain content by paying money for it.

So yeah, I think it’s not a good look for WG to change the parameters of a tank that people paid for…because on one side, nerfs can cause loss of trust by the player paying for the in game product, but then you’ll also have to consider that other tanks are being buffed and nerfed too, and these collector and premium tanks might get left behind if their parameters remain unchanged. Two sides to this topic.

Frfr. After seeing them change tanks over and over, I found it better to not buy anything. Personally, I buy tanks for their stats, parameters and overall profile. Once I noticed that WG kept changing them and adding disagreeable PBR adjustments, I decided not to pour real money into something I have no control over.

For the nitpickers yes yes I know, WG places in fine print that numbers are subject to change. This is exactly why I stopped spending once I noticed the changes weren’t in my favor or preference

I am afraid, migrating everything on Discord is not the right way… To be honest we can’t expected Discord will be free forever (or without ads/ maintenance outage). It’s always nice to have other place to inform about technical stuff. And forum includes a huge amount of knowledge about game, patches, changes, discussions… for example Credit Coefficient post by @sacred belfry is useful and I don’t see any “forum” room here, that would include talking about it.

Discord does have a “forum” feature that WG could make, but that would require heavy moderation to keep it from being spammed with useless/joke posts.

I have tried some of that in the past, with a few different software, specifically to get a few threads preserved ... and while initially it looks good, it grows to monstrous sizes and links break or images are missing ... none of the tools I tried ( on mac ) managed.

I think the key thing for some will be the main post, and that's easy enough to preserve as an image and/or PDF.

Yeah this is a known MM issue. For example, look at this game I had. This was obviously biased way in my teams favor. One tier 8 light vs a tier 9 light and a tier 8 medium. Enemy team stood no chance and got farmed out by medium side because there was absolutely no way their light was standing any chance of fighting us. I got a mastery that game and the bourrasque farmed up a decent amount too

While I agree that type based matchmaking is the worst part of this game, I’m also going to just mention that you’re driving a tank that goes 50km/h and can drop any med to a 1-shot in about 8 seconds.

The main issue I have with MM is a minor one, because it’s only in Boss battle. My issue then is the boss on my team can be a light and they get a heavy for their boss.

They worked as a team, which was exactly why they got farmed out so hard from med side. Their only chance was maybe if one of their heavies rushed med side to support the light but obviously that can't be expected which is why it's an MM issue

Realistic should count towards normal stats it’s regular battles no power up gimmicks just without making it super obvious where exactly you are and armor highlight so just regular battles with more skill

Just think of all the mechanics that have to go into that. Add the Map and Tank designs that have to be made too. For a simple Event, thats just too much for a mobile game.

they could have a lot of months until Halloween to make the map, redesign and make the tank bigger, if they are able to do Uprising respawns, make Gravitation, Mad games and all the gamemodes we know and program bots (low tier for new players), i dont see how it would be hard for them to make it spawn from a portal and program it to go to another one, but well, im not a programmer

Allthough the idea might seem sinple, it is actually a lot harder to produce. Everything has to be designed, textures have to be developed, the mechanics take a whole load of work and are complicated to do, in short: a whole lot of work and few possibilities to monetize the event somehow. At the end of the day, WG still needs to make money, a collaboration with another franchise is a good opportunity to do that.

I'd rather have 3 hull down tanks than 4 non/somewhat hull down tanks on that map.

Also, enemy teams gets the same teams you get. But consistency would be nice

i would say that map also depends a lot by med side, lets say you are a HT and you went heavy side, your meds lost against enemies, and now you've lost 3/4 of the map, you are sorrounded

Yeah med side is more important than heavy side. But a heavy tank can perform just as well as a med, if not better, on the med side was what I was trying to say. Also if you have paper mediums they aren't very helpful in taking control of the map

I generally go to the med side if I'm in a heavy tank on that map, and it seems to work.

you should review the MM. In terms of ranking I'm moving up well, as a result the teams become unbalanced: my team's average is 45% victory and 800 damage on average, compared to 59% victory and 1700 damage on average. Obviously that's a lot of defeats in a row and since the points system is broken but that's another subject, it doesn't make you want to play at all.
