Our clan finally began to finish weekly rewards for the last 3 weeks. Then last week happened with missing progress and NO explanation from WG. Anyone else having the issue where you are trying to complete a mission rather its for the battlepass, clan missions etc... It keeps giving me missions for tank nations I do not have, like today I got one for a UK & CHINA mastery class mission dont have either so I went to replace it gives me anouther UK mission... Is it supposed to be like that forcing you to either spend gold to keep replacing or forced to get a new tank link and put everything else on holt. My opinion when it gives you these missions which is already different for people it should give you some based on what Nations you have in the garage.

Also loading times platoons are very very long for a tier difference idk if anyone is experiencing this. Like if i have a tier 9 and my buddy has a tier 8 loading times get up to 7mins + just for a single battle. Then you get crappy teammates and gets kinda fustrating putting all that together

Platoon waiting times will vary based on time of day, tiers and options like supremacy on/off or game mode and how busy or quiet it is on the server.

You should not get missions for tanks in tech trees that you don’t have tanks in however.

It seems to me that the best way to not lose clan missions is to complete them in the 6 hours before the daily mission reset. My impression is that the problem occurs after the second x2 reset or the next day during the short server downtime. The only clan missions I have lost were when I’d played in the evening after the daily mission reset. I could be wrong but it’s worth trying.

Then also delete the “packs” folder. You’ll find it in the same Documents folder that DAVAproject is in. Clean copies of both folders will be dowloaded when you reopen the game.

I liked the overall idea of 3 people toon. But to balance it out, we should not let three same tanks be in one toon.
Because getting clipped by three tvps or three 183s where they nuke you for 1.2k dmg in total with HESH while you are being a hulldown position, would not be cool.

If they manage it correctly, 3-toons will be GREAT for the game, especially in modes. I like that they started there.

Mathematically 2/7 is approximately the same percentage as 3/10 (28.5/30%). We see double toons on NA frequently, so what about 3-toons? The 4/7 and 6/10 are approximately the same percentage also (57.1/60%). So increasing the number of players per side will probably balance out the change.

We saw during the V9 release debacle some teams had many more than 7 players per side. People complained about lopsided battles, but nobody complained "so many players made my phone slow." Because of that problem, we now know the player base devices can easily handle 10v10.

I suspect they will do something responsible like making the 3-toon battles have 10v10. However, this is just my suspicion.

WG why don’t you remove the missions “survive and win” as too many players sit in n spawn and wait until their mates take the opponent’s HP and tanks down, only then to come out and play and get some me cheap kills and damage. it's similar to seeding in quick tournaments. The game assigns a certain skill weight to players based on their number of battles and winrate, and then tries to balance the teams. It's absolutely atrocious playing skill modes in a super unicum toon, since it just gurantees you get useless teammates and decent enemies

Why did the Wz 111 5A get a nerf? From 460 damage it was reduced to 440, in addition, the collector tank and premium tanks should get better consumables and some of the tanks are forgotten... Having an afk teammate is better than having a bad one since their reason is due to connection problems. Also the match ends faster.

We don’t really have any of our own tank designs other than BT-42 which would be better off as a stand alone premium, since we’ve only relied on purchasing and capturing tanks but always modified em like adding extra armor but that’s not really enough to be a separate tank

I had this problem too. There's is no way to invalidate a corrupted image.

If you're using an Android device, clear the game cache and let the game download everything again.

I don't know if iOS has application caches. If it has, clear the cache. If not, delete the game and download it again.

On Windows, go to steamapps\common\World of Tanks Blitz\Data\Gfx\Lobby and delete "icons" folder and restart Steam. Alternatively, re-install the game.

I had this problem before. The solution is to use a vpn while starting the app first time, so that you connect to the server and download those files. Maybe you are in China like me?

No, objectively, some/many look bad after PBR. I took before/after pics of one of my tanks I knew was getting PBR. Not only did the color go away, but much of the detail was removed and smoothed over. Latches, intricacies etc just gone. It was a detailed model with striking color, and now more of a blob with odd coloring. I opened a ticket (again) and WG once again referred to the EULA. Said it's their property. Doesn't matter I paid for it with actual cash. 🙄 Getting back on point, when the details and color go away it is bad looking.

Are you ever going to optimize the game? The Victory screen which hides the hangar loading takes 9 seconds on PC version! It used to be a little faster before the update, although it wasn't a good result either.

Add some check-boxes to keep resources in RAM! I know you still orient at phones from 2015, but don't you think the game should become a little flexible for a little more powerful devices?

Can't you do the shop synchronization process asynchronously? What's so important about it? What has changed for me in 1 battle to have it being done on each garage loading? Do your SEs know what a cache and a buffer is?

Well, when that happens - outside of player's game crashing - I most often think it is an issue with the internet between the player and the server.

Once in a blue moon, my tank will sink into terrain, spin, etc ... but I chalk that up to internet issues between home & the data center over 1000 km or miles away.

Unless it is something where the server crashes or all players get disconnected, I personally do not see it as a server issue and not something that WG can fix.

Some players play on older computers or devices, very limited connections, ... and thus can suffer crashes due to lack of device memory or graphic resources; ... people may answer phone calls, video calls, ... or maybe did not even have time to play ... so that's why people who are AFK can be common.

Motivated players, try to only play when they know they have a good connection and have time to finish a few battles without getting disturbed.

They can just make an "accept" button before battle like in CSGO. So if the player afk'd or left the match they can be given penalty instead. It would also be easier to spot intentional afk'rs if they somewhow went afk for 3 matches straight then you would be on cooldown means can't play regular/rating battles for 10 minutes or more depending on the times you've afk'd that day.

It is a mobile game, some people play on older devices, on weak connections, may play when they don't have enough time to actually complete a battle, receive a phone call, must jump on the buss, get called to dinner, ...
AFKs get no rewards and warnings.
Not much more that can be done outside of that.

Personally i thing that 90% of "AFK"s are people who are disconneced during games. I play on APAC alot and it happens to me at least once each time I play there. Still have a lot of problems with hitting Battle button and then not being joined to the game. Wish Wg would fix that bug

I have a new IPAD pro with a 5G Wifi connection. And a 2 year old Alienware laptop with ethernet connection directly to the router. I have fiber to the floor of my building and Cat 6 the last 10 meters to my router. I can get under 90ms connection to work in Palo Alto. I can get a 50 ms ping time to service providers in SG no problem any time. The problem isn't my inadequate hardware.

I have a Galaxy S10E. Should be more then sufficient to run the game. But game freezing on lobby, when a battle is starting, happens for me, exactly since the 10.0 update. I have narrowed it down to unstable interconnection (probably packet loss), and the game not being able to handle that. As both for me and every one I've discussed with. The solution in our case, is to disconnect WiFi, and run on mobile data. The few people running PC, I've talked to. I've suggested ethernet. Haven't heard back from them though.

Ohh and btw. When it happens, because I've forgotten to turn off WiFi. I restart the game, and usually I'll join within a few seconds of battle start. Seems like a lot off people haven't realised this though.

PC player here. When 10.3 came out, the game was definitely a lot more buggy (Longer loading times, ping spikes, game freezes, etc.), but after several days it kind of just stopped on its own. Might have just been that the update made the game unstable and the devs have been silently fixing it, does happen with games from time to time.

10.3. That's the latest one, that changed platoon "lobby", and came with a lot of clan bugs, right? If so, I agree. I also had a lot of laggy games right after, and within a few days, it disappeared. I'm assuming that was problems on the server end.
But what I mentioned has happened a lot longer (10.0). Ofcourse I have no way of knowing. But from the looks of it, I assume the server sends a "token" to the game client, letting it know which Game server to join, for that battle. And if the client doesn't receive it (packet loss), the game doesn't know what to do. Hence freezes, rather then joining battle.
When you then close the game, and restart, the client receives that "token" on login, and you join the battle server normally.

Well, there was another thing I noted. From 10.0 to 10.3, the map selection system was definitely odd. After 10.3 hit, I suddenly started seeing maps I had not played in months, such as Dead Rail or Ghost Factory, as if they had been flushed out of the system prior to 10.3. Don't know if that had anything to do with it but, I know for a fact that something was fishy with the map system.

I haven't noticed anything odd with it now, as if whatever was wrong has been fixed but, definitely an oddity

NA is on the other side of the planet, literally by time zone so I play on it on weekends in the moring because it has lots of people on and there are almost never any performace problems.

I'm mad about the way they presented and executed it. I watched the stream live. I read the event information a couple times, my buddy read it, and we came to the same conclusion. We're both intelligent, English speaking people. But for WG to not give you what you think you are buying, it's like a bait-and-switch. I have the right to feel angry when I didn't get what I thought they were selling. WG has the right to hear feedback about what their money spending players think of the event. If I feel I got the bait-and-switch, then others do too. I enjoy the game and I want them succeed, and therefore, I want them to do better job in the future.

iirc Blitz gives the value from the average gun depression value (rounded ofc) and displays that, and not its true max value (you can also see this on the waffle, which blitzhangar says that both the 15cm and 12.8cm guns have poor depression angles, despite the fact that both can achieve -10 degrees)

Just disable Chat and play the game. In platoons it will work nevertheless. I did this more than 2-3 (?) years ago already and it feels so nice. This way NO-SPAMMERS = true. And BTW The personal Benefit for me: Even when I play with a „muppet“ team I am not in temptation to send any „negative“ comments in chat. So basically a double win: I am Not getting annoyed and I am not able to let out frustration via chat from my end. Just switching tank and starting next match instead.

Sorry if this isn't meant to be posted here, but I wanted to ask if there are any plans on addressing the mm issues when it comes to playing the lower tiers? I generally play on EU and if I want to pick a tier 3 tank to play, I have to wait anywhere between 2-5 mins to get into a game during the day. At night this increases dramatically (last night I spent 10 and 12 mins in the queue trying to get into a game before giving up). I won't even go into the effects that platoons can have.

After the changes in 5.5, there are fewer tank varieties in the lower tiers and now when new lines are introduced to the game, they will generally start at tier 5 or higher. Are there plans to address the mm at these tiers? One suggestion I would make is to remove the lock off tanks when they are destroyed in battle and someone wants to play another game in the same tank. This would allow people to enter the queues quicker and help allow people get into queues and games faster.

Not even sure why that's a question....but I'll entertain it before the accusation of seal clubbing is made. Chasing aces, could be a new player with no higher tiered tanks, could be someone that wants to learn how to play the game at lower tiers. Take your pick.

chasing aces - get good, there are also many underplayed tanks in higher tiers that have low-ish ace bars (TVP VTU is a personal favourite)

New player with no high tier tanks - wrong, new players are put in a separate queue, and progression nowadays is easy, you can yolo up a line in like 500 battles

the final point- tiers 5-7 exist for that, a much more developed area to develop their skills and learn

The thing with loading times mostly happens with the HD of the computer, in fact pcs that have SSDs instead of HDs load blitz faster than usual during the first battles, the HD does load a bit slower in the beggining but it doesn't go much past that, it should load regularly after.

As you said you're a mobile user so i have no idea of why this is happening to you, but i recommend what has been already said to ya, limit ram usage and lower your graphics

Two Super unicum players in a toon is already a huge advantage, three would be broken (which I believe was the reason it wasn’t incorporated, like it was on the Lesta run RU server). Further more it provides significant issues for rigging due to platoon matching.
