Yea that’s the thing Finland mostly had to use captured tanks and the BT-42 was their only tank made by them (even that requiring a captured BT-7 hull) so I could either see the 42 as a stand alone premium or a tech tree made from captured tanks which I would love seeing Finland represented would make me so happy : )

I don’t think a continuous download of a progress bar would be helpful or even practical. It seems to download periodically, but it’s still a progress bar.

During the New Years stream Darth Antonious mentioned that there were 8 billion battles in 2022. With people trying to grind victories the progress shown is not unreasonable. 45 million is a large number, but there’s a large number of players working on that goal.

Believe what you want to believe. With that many zeros in the number it’s pretty mind boggling.

Darth Antonious didn’t say how the total was counted. I’m guessing it was 14 players in 1 battle = 14 battles, but there’s two fewer countries playing through WG this year. We can’t come up with more than a ballpark figure. Whatever you calculate, the progress bar fits within that ballpark and reaching Boss Mode looks very possible.

But, hey, having a million or more people from dozens of countries contributing to a common goal is just amazing.

There is no point in using a progress bar if you only update it every now and again (nobody wants to constantly aggregate over all battles played or update a counter for every battle played) and the numbers are so massive that you could hardly tell the difference between 1 battle and 1000 battles anyways

It‘s just a typical WG solution of being kind of cheap but in an admittedly clever way

Who the hell came with the idea of adding a futuristic, modern style, to a historical game with tanks from World War 1/2 , like Wot blitz. What is this? Game for 4 year old kids? Let’s remember that other big games did the same and they lost a lot of players in it just because they didn’t listen to the community. This game becomes like a gambling, and a game where you have to pay money in order to have chances to win a match. This game has so many premium tanks that when you enter in a match in a team you have at least 4 premium tanks. This words come from an old veteran player, I’m coming from the period when the only “op tank“ premium tank was is6 and then the tank was rarely seen in battles because the battles were the most used tanks were the tech tree tanks mostly. The REAL PROBLEM IS that wot blitz devs and others don’t listen to community suggestions and they don’t ask they’r opinions at all. When was the last time when I entered in the game and I received an survey with what would you like to have in the game? When? Never. Because you know that the real problems of the game will be asked to be solved like matchmaking, graphics and so on. But you just continue adding skins and premium tanks because that’s all you have to do. Nothing historically accurate. Shame. Even if the wot blitz was simple , and not that complicated 6 years ago, that is the game that most people miss. If you ban me or something like that that means you don’t listen to peoples opinion and you just ignore the truth. Waiting for a response.

I mostly agree. When updates come out I wonder, "What are they going to take away this time?" Just to quickly name a few, they took away the good garage, the awesome gun sounds, and every time they "improve" a tank by converting it to PBR the great camos become terrible. I watched a V7 or V8 replay a few days ago and the guns were amazing - not like the t-shirt cannon sound we have now in aim mode.

To your point, the new communications wheel, during testing, the PC guys said it was not good, but might be okay for mobile. The mobile players said it was terrible but might be okay for PC. Bottom line, all the testers hated it. So what did they do? Forced it onto us anyway. They just didn't listen to us. 😦

I am looking forward to the Czech heavy line and Lagoon is great. I just wish they wouldn't break the great things we love to give us "improvements" that take away from the game.

Divide 45 million by 100k (the total cocurrent ppl who play everyday in all servers) = 450 / 12 days = 37.5 wins per day * 5 minutes per match plus waiting time and preparing for next match = 187.5 minutes * (1/ 50% winrate) = 375 minutes = 6 hours 15 minutes every day at 50 winrate & 5 minutes per match plus time in between matches

As for BlitzStars, the api’s it uses only report for one cluster. The NA one is totally glitched and unusable. Even when they were usable it only reported concurrent players, not total players.

And, there are 28 maps in the game. They are removing 5 of them, about a sixth. That isn't removing enough to make a difference in the amount of learning a player can make of a map, they will just get a sixth more games on every map. That is absolutely nothing.

This is not helping players learn, the new players will just notice 5 new maps that they haven't even seen before, and lose the maps that they already are familiar with. Which is worse for a new player learning.

This can only be to aleviate stress on the game and make the game size smaller, and less taxing. Nothing else. A cheap way of not having to upgrade the game engine to something made this century, and to postpone the issue, until it becomes even worse, and they perchance have to remove some techtree lines every 3 months to save on resources?

A heavy tank line with a "unique feature", give me a break. It's an X.0 update, and you are already unliked by the playerbase. I truly want the best for this game, and it pains me that it is going in this way. 2 years ago, you promised us turnover physics, new UI, unique mechanics(as in truly gamechanging, useful unlike vz55's "stabilisation" or the WZ's active camo. Half the content is premium tanks accessible through crates/draws/whatever. I played this game for a reason. 9.1 and 8.2 were the only good updates that came out in the recent years. I’ll be honest here: The removal of maps with each season is the single dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s past even the issues with update 5.5 IMO. It doesn’t make maps “fresh” nor does it generate anticipation for maps to return; it just reduces the variety of gameplay.

A better idea would be to allow players to play on some of the gamemode-specific maps during the seasons. For instance, have Wasteland available one Season, then Everfrost for another, that sort of thing. Such a change could make the game more interesting and provide more variety to gameplay as opposed to limiting the maps that we’re able to play on.

I'm starting to see a pattern in their bad updates and the excuses behind them:

5.5 was because "to make newer players grind easier". So they removed almost half the tech tree tanks that teached players different kind of playstyle. Wich made them noobs in higher tier. Still they add broken tanks like Smasher.

Remove chat so people won't be toxic. What about players that are not among them? They just killed the teamgame aspect of the game. Not to forget the horrible new quick command.

Lastly, removing maps to make newer players understand the game? Even if WG brings them back won't make a difference. Not being able to play them all the time will result in forgetting how to play on them.

All of them are terrible and arguably some of the worst maps in the game. This is fantastic, and it's good to get these terrible maps out of the map pool

Vineyards is literally an instant loss for North spawn
Ghost factory is mediocre at best
Copperfield isn't even available for high tiers
Port Bay is horrible for anything that can't go island side, and then it's just a hulldown brawl (and you instantly lose if your team loses island)

There is a bug in the daily personal missions. The second container for 70 keys shows only a certificate to buy a premiumtank for tier 5 tanks but you can get a certificate to buy a premium tank which is tier 7!

Why is the Chieftain Mk.6 such a weak tank??

This is a very weak tank. The commander's hatch is large and easy to hit, and the turret itself is very weak, which makes this tank not worth the price or to play with.

The first thing WG should solve is the readiness of players before the start of the battle !!! I don't understand how it is possible that 2-3 tanks are still standing 30 seconds after the start on the spawn. A colleague in the platoon still has a message waiting for the player and the game is already playing.

Fan containers can only be earned for your account on your local server.

You cannot log on with an asia account on other servers, and get rewards for that.
