Basically, the reason why is that it’s much easier to automatically remove cups of all silver tourney participants than to remove only the cups from teams that had a team in gold and silver.

That "because" section doesn't even make sense.
Cancel means to render the activities of a FUTURE event null.
Daria's statement implies that the changes would only be applied to FUTURE events.
The reasoning literally had no reference to the events that have already occured.

Plus, despite what was claimed, it was obvious that the problem was not the silver series itself. It was obvious that the problem was from when clans were able to amass cups by participation in both the gold and silver series.
No, not gold + silver series, not gold + silver series, but having teams that played in **both the series.

In NA, str8 was the only participating clan that entered two teams. Obviously they didn't intend to rig but if WG wished to adhere to their principle of only recognizing the best performance, wouldn't it make sense to then just remove the cups from the team that amassed less cups? How was it a fair decision to render the efforts of more than half of the competing teams null? Which believe it or not, literally gives the other half of the teams a headstart? Is being fair meaning giving other teams a head start now?

Thankfully, the increased rewards of entering the final stage of gold series lets teams to maybe close the gap (which should not have existed in the first place).

But in NA, the standings of the top 10-11 performing teams (the ones that didn't get their cups removed) are literally, at the minimum, 7k-9k cups apart.

The last time I saw this much audacity used in a statement was when WG decided that a single day of premium time was considered proper compensation.

Exactly, WG thinks if you qualify Silver you can easily make your way into Gold Finals. Most Teams that played Silver will now be sittin ducks in Gold Series just waiting for a Top 8 team to get knocked out.

I dont think subtracting cups from the team that performed the worst is that hard compared to cancel silver season, add 1 day prem, include 50 gold in gold series, and add more cups in finals. #ReturnTheCups

There are a lot of issues with this whole season obviously, but Gold should have had much higher cups than silver to begin with. 8th in Gold should still be higher than 1st in silver. If that was the case, there really wouldn’t be a reason to take away cups unless you had one team in gold and another in silver to gain extra cups

Even then, it’s not against the rules to run multiple teams though. Besides the obvious loop holes to the system, a massive under lying cause for this was how silver gave out more cups than it should have, inflating results to teams finishing 9-16

Okay man, you want to talk winrate, lets talk winrate. I am going to compare the encounters TTT has had this season vs top4 teams to yours and then lets compare the winrates following from those.
You guys faced loca 3x and bps once. We faced EG once, BPS once, 7urks 4x and loca once. If we are looking at top8 teams, its nothing else than logic for them to lose vs top4 teams. Judging from this it’s logic our wr is lower, so I don’t think your ‘their wr is worse than this wr team so how can they be in top8 now and these not’ makes much sense. The single elimination in gold in the beginning wasn’t correct, gladly it changed.

In the first stage, 2 teams will qualify and 2 will be knocked out.
However, even in the first battles it is possible to reverse the result of the match (Bo9).

As I said earlier, we will not change the championships system, but we will try to take this into account for future seasons.

During the few version we were changing the appearance of different screens and user interface in the game. This process is focus on renewing and actualization of the appereance the game at all. By this, those elements which are becoming obsolete were renewed and brought to a new format.

"Professional" and "Challenager" avatars were created long time ago and by their appearance they look like uncompetitive to other avatars which have been added later.

Because of it we decided to bring their appearance to the actual. It is happening during the process of the general renewing the game.

Seriously - its a geometric shape. it is fairly easy to center something in a geometric shape, and yet the newest avatars are out of shape... it almost looks hillarious, especially the upcoming Battlepass 12 Premium avatar series is totally wonky. Meanwhile current Challenger and PRO avatar are the most clean and "symmetrical" avatars that you can find in the game

There are no requirements to participate, the main thing is to be in a team/clan.
To receive a tournament award, a player must have participated in at least 3 tournaments in the Bronze series during the Summer Season 2021.
This only applies to the Pro and Middle championships.
There is no such requirement in Lower.

During this, we decided to renew the appearance of "Professional" and "Challenger" avatars until the end of Summer Season. However, we see such a resonance which happened in the community whom was gathering those avatars previously and would like to have it as a memory.

This time we decided to make advances to players. Previous version of those avatars will be saved on the players accounts. At the end of Summer Season 2021 players will win two types of avatars: the old one and the new one. By this, players are receiving as previous version of avatar as have an opportunity to rate the appearance of the new avatar in the profile.

Make your attention that Summer Season 2021 is the last season during which you are able to win the old version of "Professional" and "Challenger" avatars. After this only new versions are available to be won, but the old versions will be staying at the accounts of players whom received them previously.

The implementation of tournaments into this game has given me a breath of fresh air as I can now play the game with people who I can(not) actually rely on for making the right plays and penning their shots and focus firing and not going for damage instead of kills! I think here the direct comparison is what mattes so if D won against E and F, team D will receive the ticket bcuz they got the best direct comparison. Im not 100% sure if it is like this tho

It‘s like a circle now and all of them will tie and win the gold ticket (3 ppl on 4th place). i sent out invites to people in a tournament (Season Coin #6, Tier 10) just a few days ago, and some of my invites were not received. I'm not sure if that happened to people who were offline or online at the time of my invitation, but it is still appearing in 8.1

Lets take the time to respect the clans that trained every day for months to improve, who were good enough for top 8 but didn’t make it because their cups from the silver series were stripped from them- even with them following all the rules.

Many of them have had the courage to keep trying to get to top 8, especially because they had worked so hard to improve, but as the ticketed tourneys near their end, some of them are beginning to realize that they are going to fall just short of it, easily less than the amount taken from them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they just flat out quit. Who are we as players to know if this is going to happen again in the future or not? Many invested hours every day into this. WG doesn’t seem to realize just how massive of an impact this has made on the leaderboards.

To the players reading this that were unfortunate enough to be affected by this. I respect you for the effort you’ve put in. It’s a shame WG can’t just give back the cups they took to the teams that deserve them.

This season has shown even better than all previous seasons how much WG would benefit from starting a program where a select few are invited to give feedback on WGs ideas of changes. They can point out problems the playerbase might have with scheduling (playing daily,..), flaws in formats,… before the official announcements, like testers can/could give feedback on maps and tanks. Its little to no effort to do and can save a lot of frustration from the players to WG.

Random seeding is stupid but it can be ok if you mitigate the luck over enough tournaments. Here we had only 3 gold (and let’s be honest the top 8 will be decided 90% out of the gold tourney). Plus the first one was single elimination.
Combination of random seeding / few gold and single elimination made this summer season not good. I think 4 or 5 gold with DE would have made it ok.

And yes would be sooooo convenient to pick some player base representative to test and give feedback. Cause I really believe we have much more clues of the requirement to meet to make a good tournament !

Some sort of advanced wr seeding which makes a good judgement about whether or not an account is a reroll or not would solve a lot of these issues. <5k games and 60%+ wr is generally what defines most rerolls although of course that’s not a law by any means. Some sort of matchmaking such as this + DE tournaments will fix autumn.

This season is the greatest i ve seen in recent years, thx to random seeding tht i see new teams in top 8 or even top 16. Teams like ttt, pink e.g. I was enough of seeing always the same teams or players dominating the top 8 like they were monopoly. And thx to random seeding again tht our 50wr players are able to play in our team finally since team wrs dont matter anyway. All in all, it seems to me the most fair season in recent years. Do you have plans to make the old “Challenger” and “Pro” avatars available in the same sense? These cosmetics which have been removed as the main reward could be implemented as an extra reward for participants of the final stage of the “Professional” and “Challenger” tournament respectively.

So participants of the final stage of the “Challenger” tournament also receive the old “Challenger” avatar, the same goes for the “Professional” tournament but for the Pro avatar. Is this planned, or will they be removed forever?

Obj. 260 will never be viable because it’s basically a weaker IS-7. Chieftain has no armour and special consumables so it’s not used. Whilst the 113 has DPM it also has bad armour, terrible traverse and no special consumables.
