I had made clan and added tournament team members for commanders. Yesterday two rawmeatballs left who had rights to be commanders and removed 29 players out of clan members. These 29 players had grinded the clan stock from 0-X .

It’ll be the most interesting pros series ever, especially with lockdowns and quarantines all over the world, many older players have been able to come back and play and many teams have had much more time to practice and work on things

I am following like a lot this channel and I must say this answer looks like the common answer we receive as a player in this channel.
Would it be possible for WG to share some views of your plans regarding competitive aspect of the game ? Are they any development planned ? By development I don’t only means adding features to the game but for example having another scheme of tournament (eg. more continuous or realistic mode based)? We saw the summer season popping up this year as t8. What is the rationale?

Or maybe the plan is to keep as it is (I could understand that CW is not a real priority as not driving business growth and revenues)
It would be rly good to use this channel to provide to the relatively small community of tournaments players some insights about it. Or use our committed streamers for a specific communication. That would be awesome.
I mean this section is called « chat with devs » and we never had this opportunity to anticipate a bit the future.

However, I think 4 seasons per year will make players overloaded and exhausted, it may accelerate the quit and devalue the professional tournament and its reward at the same time. Personally I disagree 4 seasons replace 2 seasons per year in the future.

Unfortunately, we can't inform you about new developments or plans in advance. Such things are not yet at the final stage and can be canceled at all.

The summer championship was held on tanks of 8 levels because we wanted the players to try their hand at a major tournament on tanks of 8, not 10 levels. Level 8 tanks in the game are much more than 10.

This is why I'm totally against releasing an update during a tournament stage. I don't see why postponing to a week after would be a bad idea since it is after the tournament stage, and it is fair for all the clans to find out whether the Kran is a good tank for tournaments as they have ca 1 month to test.

I just don’t see how players have enough time to train and invest into both teams, preform well, and conform to both time zones without cutting corners if their intentions were to get far with either team. I’d imagine the differing metas on EU and NA would make it difficult as well, among other factors.

Well I mean the basics are pretty much the same, though it does take a lot of time to adjust to the play styles. I do think the time zone difference will be a huge issue for players playing on the EU and NA servers simultaneously (and that's why not a lot of EU streamers stream NA too). The time commitment will also be hefty.

long version, so you know Wargaming thinks Twister 2018 was too slow but 2019 was too fast? well now you do. their solution for 2019 was juicing up heavy tank hp, so Spring 2020 season was a one class meta and....went exactly as you expected. so now they have to experiment with ways to speed up the games again, one being a potential TD buff soon to come and another is increasing Supremacy cap speed from 3/a few seconds to 5/a few seconds (the same as 3 cap maps), so the time it takes to hit 1000 on Yukon is way faster, thereby arbitrarily increasing game speed. tldr Yukon caps is not a bug, its completely intentional.

the issue with this is that considering this is a 4 cap map, if two teams take two caps each immediately by going opposite sides of the map, the game will rarely last long enough for either team to kill all 7 enemy tanks, which is the case on any other map. strategy-wise, making careful rotations from one side of the map to another to catch your enemy out of position is out of the question

Unfortunately, we can't inform you about new developments or plans in advance. Such things are not yet at the final stage and can be canceled at all.

The summer championship was held on tanks of 8 levels because we wanted the players to try their hand at a major tournament on tanks of 8, not 10 levels. Level 8 tanks in the game are much more than 10.

I am doing CW stuff since the very beginning (I even took part to the very first test tournament) and it is not clear to me if WG intends to further develop the eSports aspect of the game ... or if u are fine with the way it is running atm and the balance between what if costs and what it earns.
Cause I don’t feel that there were any significant plan to be fair concerning the developments of the eSports over the past 2 or 3 years.

I do feel that the community outside of eSports should engage more in this aspect because the games are exciting, and short! I believe if the eSports scene is to grow, Wargaming should attempt to publicise more about this area, particularly the very top competitive end of it, and hopefully more players from the game will not only play the game for fun, but enjoy the competitive side as well.

For example PYS tourneys were designed for up to 256 teams, but roughly 80 played every time.. that lead to weird seeding in 2nd day etc..
Tbh many good players play the game just to participate in the tourneys and after the major tourneys they go afk, because the game particularly isn't the most enjoyable thing to do...so the tournament side of the game should be even with the public one

Not only that, but more players to watch the top clans play against one another as well 😉 We are talking about <5% of the player base for the viewership across all the streams (for both EU and Asia server), and maybe just ~8% of the player base for participating in tournaments, which leaves much to be desired.

In the end, when I chat about WoTB, I do really want to hear "tournaments" or eSports being part of the conversation, not just the new tanks or the new containers 🙂

Currently, I really appreciate the job done by both Sirius and Knopka for responding well to 4 of our demands. If they were the main reason behind a likely delay of the release of Update 7.3, I would be even more excited to see the future of eSports in the game (and obviously very happy for what they did too), and I sincerely hope it will become more popular and competitive.

It's a mobile game though. Most mobile players won't ever care about any tournaments taking place in whatever game they play on their phones or op ads. They just want to play the game

I think that's the main reason tournaments never have a very high priority for wg, and why it's not used in the game's advertisements and all. It only caters to a very small percentage of players

A vast majority of the players arent interested in top tours for a variety of reasons. Most are 'fair weather players' who enjoy rolling out every now and then between lectures/meetings and stuff. You then have those who arent good enough to make the grade and therefore consider it a waste of time and effort, I mean when you are a low seed clan (45% lets say) and your 1st game is against RA1D or someone of that calibre, then trust me you will lose interest very quickly in top tours. However, whilst the Esport side is in comparison to the overall player base small, it does hold a lot of some very positive aspects not just for the player base but also for WG. The more tours there are then the more interest in the game overall, but only if it is marketed well and has good publicity. There are diehard fans out there and more and more come along to watch, mostly to gain the small stream rewards, but again its money for old rope really. Its understandable that maybe its not a top priority, but there is so much that could be done that would greatly benefit all parties, you could even go as far as seeing if the top clans would be open for little challenges, nothing big or special, but like rolling out against a lower order clan just for fun - like a charity football match type thing. I do think the Tier 8 tour was an attempt to garner more interest, but guess it kinda failed somewhat, but it was a good start really.

There are a couple of discontinued tournaments that Wargaming should re-consider in the future:

A Swiss-system tournament: This tournament system was used 2 years ago for tier 8 and tier 10. Clans are drawn in groups of similar skill. This definitely helps rectify the problem mentioned by Fugit and many others, about less competent clans facing the very able clans in the first two stages. This system is also beneficial to building clans who wish to train different clans on one single night. I believe Wargaming should bring this back during off-seasons.
Challenge the Stars tournament: This tournament decides on a team to challenge the best team in the server. The nature of the tournament itself is a huge marketing opportunity and I'm somewhat baffled that WG didn't do more of this.

Other ideas:

An invitational battle between the best teams of both EU and CIS region. This will draw in a lot of audience for sure for the intense battles.

Even the big youtubers, if they stream, they don't get all their subs to watch. For instance - if Darren streams, he gets 300-400 people for his random streams.
The portal stream, which gives rewards, gets about 300, if we're lucky

My point is that the average player has no interest, not that the average youtuber doesn't want to stream the tournaments

Making a video about how exciting it can be won't change that.

Ironically after a nice chat with Rolling & Zird after Spring Season I did attempt to raise awareness of Tours - ok so maybe joining Zenith wasnt the best idea, but they were prepared to take me and let me stream their TX tours and training, which I did and got quite some interest from viewers - but alas that all went pear shaped for reasons not associated with the game at all - hence why I'm clanless lol

Amaunet is right - I mean I am an average player and I rolled out against APA and some other notable clans (their top teams) in my time with ZNTH and its quite an experience for an average player. Its more intense, more nervy, needs more focus and you discover quickly that you dont even know the basics that well - where to hit, spotting, resetting camo, moving wihtout being spotted etc etc and its a totally different kind of play style which a lot of players just wont enjoy - although I must admit Ioved every single minute even when being shouted at 🙂 Why because it is a totally different game style and its what the game is about in my opinion - proper teamwork and played like chess

To be honest it does remind me of professional football matches. I believe a huge proportion (conservative estimate of >99.9% global population) is not "well-equipped" to be a very top football player, but still we are seeing in every day life lots of people being football fans.

I think the eSports side of this game is also similar in many ways. Yes you may never be as good as the top clans in the server but you will never be bored of the tournament games!

I definitely think there is a huge marketing opportunity here and I believe it should be invested upon. It can cater a big proportion. Even if it doesn't persuade people to partake in tournaments, having more viewership in tournament games is more than good sign here.

Football is completely different because it has an armchair following that is vast and superstars who are celeb's in their own right. WOTB doesnt have that and it took football a long time to get there! I mean in footballers of 40 years ago were not earning what footballers earn now. Not only that but football was marketed to the 'working classes' - it was meant to be cheap n cheerful - how times have moved on lol

It doesn't have a following without a good reason and audience. Some risky investment has to be made at the start and I hope WG will make the initiative. It doesn't have to be encouraging more players to play in tournament. It could just be getting the players to be fervent of the clans they support, and letting them know there is an eSports side to this game and they are very exciting to watch. I wish in the future for an average WoTB player, the conversation between their friends won't be just "oh... how do you think of the new tank?" or "I hate this matchmaking...", but "which team do you think would be winning the Twister Cup?" or "which teams will get the top 8 ticket in the end?"

To be honest it does remind me of professional football matches. I believe a huge proportion (conservative estimate of >99.9% global population) is not "well-equipped" to be a very top football player, but still we are seeing in every day life lots of people being football fans.
Well, for one, not everyone watching sports has the means to do so at any given moment. For many, playing blitz would be more enjoyable than watching top teams play, and you can just as easily pull out your phone to play blitz or watch it.

Comparing it to other esports games, those are watched because stakes are higher as has been mentioned, but also because you get to truly experience the games from the top player perspective. One thing I just realized is that while free cam gives a very good view of the macro strategy involved in these games, it does very little to get people excited about actually participating in these games. In other esports, you are able to see from the player's perspective, almost putting you in the shoes of the players, which makes it much more relatable and makes it easier for you to imagine yourself in the situation. You can imagine how that is a plus for nurturing involvement in the tournaments. Currently, there is no such thing to be able to do so for blitz.

@steel shell And hence why I suggest WG should bring back Swiss-system tournaments, that were around about 2 years ago. They could also use this opportunity to test a new seeding system. This should be released during off-seasons.

I still think the big season tournaments should remain in a strongest-against-weakest principle because they are meant for prepared teams, not pub teams.

I think that would be great for the game but it can be abused (as Amaunet quite rightly points out 😦 Maybe if prizes are equal to QT prizes then no big issue and maybe throw in a camo or an avatar - its not like they cost a shed load really and peeps like glittery thingies like that

It's not at all the same though. You don't see how the player moves and looks around, you don't see the game from the same perspective at all.

The problem itself is not only in WG, but in the way casual player look at it
Instead of playing QTs, he might play few randoms and he will get more credits than in casual QT
Instead of playing Big tourneys, he can donate and get what he wants or make a reroll, get into one of the teams and get his absolutely undeserved avatar and camo
As Dieu said above - there is nothing that WG DOES to keep the tournament audience in there, except those 100-200 players, who are always been in top8-top4 or near it
There is no need to play tours, there is no SPECIAL treatment which needs to be done to keep players interested in the tourneys and old veterans - to play the game more
I myself losing the interest in the game bcoz i have everything and there is no more challenges I want to compete
There is no battle tasks like in WoT, there is no global map, like in WoT, there is basically no need in the clans because they exists only for some useless discounts and clantag in the game
Even streamers prefer to do casual streaming than the tourney stream because it is really more profitable for them
In my opinion there three things needed to be done:
-Get rid of the "crates-the-only-way" path and start to make the premium tanks being achievable harder. I am speaking about those OP things like Action X and others, why not to start making personal battle tasks and place those tanks there. Ofc there is going to be less audience with it - but it will make them more desirable to have
-Make leagues. The league thing is really OP, and you should put there really something EXCLUSIVE, which many of players wont have any chance to get but to rush THIS particular tourney
-Start to seed the teams correctly and in a proper manner and also invent some rules, which will exclude forever the players like rerolls and many other things from even having a chance to PARTICIPATE, so that people will think more about such actions

@latent olive I really agree with Leagues. I think rocket leagues old esports format would work well for blitz. It worked by having 10 of the best teams in one league where they would play each other for about 2 months, then the 2 teams with the worst record would be regulated into the lower league (also 10 teams) while the 2 best teams from the lower league would be brought up to the upper league for the next season. Each season was usually 4 months and resulted in an offline. For rocket league it was the best 4 teams went to an offline. I think this would be the best representation of your idea

To the average player, the player view would make much more sense than the macro view. For pushes, clutch 1v1 or 2v2, or holds, I would much rather have a player view to access than a free cam. The goal here would be to make these games more relatable to the average pub player, while at the same time providing insight to them. Experienced tournament players could probably have a video of the minimap and have a pretty good idea of what is going on, but these should not be the target audience for streams.

Just like Ratings for Clans lol If done well you could in theory dispense with Ascent tour, with the Top 8 being determined by league place and then go into player offs (Pro Tour) to get to the offline - it could work in theory.

I agree with Innerman's points. Just adding to the points:

I think the opportunity to use a tank that could simply be bought, and better than the tech tree tanks, is unfair inherently because the game is free-to-play, which caters all players from different economic backgrounds. Wargaming should send a clear message that hard-work and high-skill should be rewarded, not having TONS of money.
I like the league idea as well, which can garner a fixed number of audience and keeps teams interested. It doesn't have to be very tense like 3 tournaments in a week -- just a weekly tournament (i.e. matchday) would do. Then, you could also have a month or two of break, or we could have a big tournament during the break.
I really want to see the seeding working properly. The league is a good start to do tournament ratings but having one rating tournament per week for non-league teams is also a good place to start.
3b. Furthering the third point from Innerman, Wargaming should be more strict with Rule 2.1.1, which prohibits anyone from rigging the game, and "rigging" the tournament seeding should theoretically be a violation of such rule. In the end, there is no perfect system that does not allow any form of rigging at all, and this is exactly why Wargaming should be more aware and enforce Rule 2.1.1 in the future for unscrupulous manipulation of tournament seeding too.

Point 1 will never happen. At the end of the day, wargaming is a company, not a charity. Tournaments secondary function is showcasing tanks. That's why the meta is changed every half year or so, by something being added, something being nerfed or overbuffed. It makes people want to grind or spend money to get them

Unfortunately in the world every sport has a certain P2W aspect and with that being said promoting every sport is worthless too. What we could do is to minimise the P2W aspect of tournaments. Currently, I think there are loads of talking points and unique selling points of tournaments, such as the excitement of the games brought by the tactics and unusual moves/rotations from teams that I have repeatedly mentioned before. This is exactly why I started promoting tournaments, streaming, and preparing a crazy amount of stuff for my streams in the first place.

@leaden belfry through out my managerial expercience, it would be much more profitable to have small donations by 5 euro from 1000 customers, than 25 from 100, as it usually goes with the crates system
It was nice at the start, it is boring now, when I go to random on tier 8 to face 13/14 players riding the premiums from crates being 46% sh.... players.

As for premium tanks in tours, well that is a double edged sword really. WG needs to make cash after all and what better way to do that than getting the best players in the game to effectively showcase them. However, the T8 tour was a joke when certain clans take a full line up of 252U's. WG will never remove Prem's from tours but they should restrict the amount that can be fielded to a max of say 2. The overall guiding issue is that WG MUST make money or else there is no game simple really. I am not a fan of crates but I do like the fact that at least they introduced charms to restrict the expense - a small step yes, but a positive one - more can be done however 😉

Well, we have already seen that currently, tournaments are not all that popular with the general playerbase. So to say that WG would lose a considerable amount of money from not allowing premium tanks in tournaments would be counter-intuitive.

To my understanding, gentleman's agreement only works if everyone has access to it, so if someone starts using it, then everyone can, so it's not applicable here.

It's called GA (gentlemen's agreement) basically it means, that for scrims/tournaments certain weapons are banned/ restricted to some amount even though you can use them ofc.. everything is up to players and it works really good... To be fair, when that works in game that is multiple times bigger, has bigger player base, why it wouldn't work here?
At least in pro tourneys would be nice gesture from "pros" to show the game is playable at high level without premiums/collectors

The thing is I believe WG's Game Rules are very ambiguous in a way that it encompasses a big part of potential violation, but at the same time it encompasses a smart part of certain violation. Let's not just look into Rule 2.1.1 for one second, but Rule 2.1.7 does state WG can take action under their discretion, which basically means if WG thinks you are acting in bad faith, they can ban you. I do agree WG needs to update their Game Rules, and write a new set of regulations for every tournament.

When it comes to throwing games or cheating, it's very difficult for wg to take action, because those things are very hard to prove and messages on other platforms than in game are not seen as evidence

The seeding system has been like this for years - but until this season it's never been this heavily abused, so wg has not seen fit to change it sooner. Hopefully, by next season, this hole will be closed as well

Main thing imo is making more clear rules and rules for a tournament series as a whole. All of this - Prove your Skill, Qualifiers, Finals later on - is one tournament, which wg classifies as three different ones. There need to be rules per season, even if their are amendments for specific parts of it.
Information, including dates and rules and maps and all of it, should be posted well in advance - at least two weeks before the start of the season.

The Game Rules do need to be updated with new sections covering not just Tours but also Ratings, but that an argument for a different channel. With regard to tours the Game Rules only apply to 'in game actions' as such or clear proof of rigging, like agreeing to throw a game or such. WR seeding doesnt fall under these catagories because its not really rigging. There is no rule that states a player cannot re-roll and create a clan then join a tour. Its not actually cricket as we would say in England, but its not illegal either. If they were to take action like envisaged then every player on a re-roll account would be at risk, which is a large catchment.

I am a big believer in rules (lawyer lol) and the Tours need updated rules that are freely available and easily understood

But there was also a complaint about certain member not having a TX and thus couldnt play. Again the rules do not prevent any player from joining a team, but if they dont have a TX then they cant play. Its these things that need updating so that only players with a tank in the tier can join the team, like they did with making it impossible for PC players to actually join a touch team

It didn't say anywhere that the Game Rules only apply to "in-game actions". It even says on Rule 1 that it applies to "the Game, general game and other channels", so it definitely does apply outwith the battles in the game. However, I think the argument to define if a certain action constitutes a "rigged" situation stands, and that is quite hard to reason, even if the stats do suggest a strong influence on the outcome.

Back to my point 3b, I believe Wargaming cannot just fold their arms and allow unscrupulous manipulation of seeding or similar kind to continue. This is because there is always a way to rig the system, however perfect the system is. If a certain action, that is not stated in the rules, is unscrupulous enough to unfairly put the team to a position that is obviously unworthy, Wargaming should enforce Rule 2.1.1, which is the basis of my point after all.

I cannot emphasize enough that Wargaming must update the Game Rules and create a new set of common rules for tournaments, however.

They already said they're working on a different seeding system though, Jack, so they're not just folding their arms. At the same time, they can't (read: won't) change the rules mid season. The seeding abuse has happened before, and was allowed then, it just did not get abused to this extend. Wg can't go against it now when they didn't address it back then either.

I'm happy to know that they are working on a different system, which I have stated multiple times. However, my point is that still there will be imperfections in the new system and people will find a way to manipulate that. I was just stating Wargaming cannot again allow actions that are blatantly done in favour of their team to continue, actions that we don't know what form it could come. The laissez-faire approach to actions that could jeopardise an entire season is simply not going to be fair for everyone.

like most things contractual when they 1st come out everyone thinks everything is caught, its not until you work the contract that the flaws appear and are then exploited. That happens all the time and it then takes time to implement a change to remove that particular mischief. On a positive side we have seen WG take far more action this year over tours than previously, with bans after the summer season, changes to the cups after Spring and now consideration of reworking the seeding. These are positive steps and they cant happen overnight. They recently introduced (it was silly) a 2 week in the clan rule and they got shot down, but at least they were prepared to consider things like this albeit the timing was so so bad lol

it's not even about being butthurt or not. it's about invalidating the results for anything that was played prior of the update. by making changes of any kind you're invalidating the results that are played before the changes arrive.

any proper esports titles and also TOs (tournament organizers) will avoid changes to be made into any ongoing competition in order to ensure the results of the gameplay are valid. By allowing changes to go into any ongoing competition you are now creating a situation where the first 2 days of competition, the results can be put into question whether they're accurate or not. If wargaming's response is to continue with this they will just basically throw any competition (and also the Esport scene) out of the window and there's isn't much point playing in a competition where the validity of the results of some of the matches can be questioned.

it's not even about promises anymore. it's about wargaming failing as a tournament organizer to allow things like these happening during the biggest competition of the title.

I don't like the compromises in standard right now
we play competitions, we want it fair and square. I don't care we already won 4 matches or not already, if there's any changes, you cannot deny the chances of them affecting all of the results that we just went through, so what if something could've gone better if the update came earlier/ later? do we blame it on RNG not giving us that matchup earlier? no we will be putting that on Wargaming failing as a TO, invalidating the entire tournament and can't do their job properly.

Waow had a rly good time reading all of u on the CWs future topic. Unfortunately no answer from WG representatives (yet) ... still u can see that many people has ideas to put forward and I really believe that the CW scene will never be meant to have a massive amount of participants but, if it is properly marketed, if we are able to have some kind of storytelling behind the clans and the best players, then we can start to bring wide interest.
And today with current tournament structure (basically we hear about clan wars 2 times a year) you will never be able to build the needed continuity between the player base and the professional players and clans.

I mean there are tons of story to tell (use to have LGN R2K rivalry, there are some kind of national teams like win or raid and I am sure many other stuff about players for example... ) but no one is telling these sorties ( even if u @crisp shore address it a bit during Friday’s night with... and the debrief sesssions ... btw loving this stuff!).
I really see it as a matter of proper marketing. And for sure creating league would be very good to achieve this constant link between player base and clans (+ proper streaming + in game advertising....)

they have now with their performance against RGN today - earlier is was even - its not over for PNCR, but its very tough indeed. PNCR needs to beat RGN 4-0 tbf, a tall order indeed as i cant see ISHTR losing to 4-0 to MM

@surreal hinge Call me deluded but there are other incentives to watch eSports. Here I list a few:

Opportunities to learn and improve one team's communication, strategies, rotations etc.
A break from the unfortunate and agitating battles you just had in the game
Watching your idols shine in big games
Easy to access without the need to load up the app (especially when you need to update the game 😉 )
Exciting, heart-pounding SHORT matches unlike other eSports
Enjoyable commentaries from all streamers ;)
Feeling more pumped up in general

I disagree without the rewards, there will be no incentive. I watch WoTB eSports not because of rewards.

Lol, I never understood people who needs rewards to watch something. Blitz is not boring though, I watch other esports and play other major games in the branch like csgo and league of legends and tbh blitz is way more exciting than league of legends, games can go 20 minutes there with next to no action while blitz games are so short so you’re guaranteed to be provided entertainment within about 5 minutes of every match

Yeah, plenty of top level games has been taken to tie breakers as well which makes it so fun to watch, for example LGN vs LOCA, RA1D and EG has all been tie breaker games - I mean I could just be biased since I play myself and watch all games but I don’t think it’s boring

@crisp shore you are completely right on all of those points, but im talking about the general community, i.e the players that dont play in tournaments or just play pub matches. If there was no physical incentive (rewards for watching), these players could care less about watching a stream and would most likely watch droodles or meadsy or martin dogger if they want to learn something instead of sitting in front of a screen for 3 hours.
For me, I agree that the physical rewards are like icing on a cake, because I'm active in comp and that its always nice to see a very intense battle once in a while. But for many other players, like I said, they could care less to watch a stream to get the incentive of "knowledge" instead of watching for something that directly helps them.

I think it makes little sense to confuse tournament streams with casual normal videos that teach you how to improve your skill. To be perfectly honest, I don't think the current rewards for watching the stream reward much better than just playing random matches alone, hence we are registering less than 10% of the community watching the streams for coins, and the community was informed about the prizes you could earn from the streams. Not saying WG should increase the prize of watching the streams, but I believe a significant part of the community watches the streams because it is genuinely exciting (and they are featured both in the game and on the website too). (N.B I'm informed there was a reward of tier 10 research certificate for the Asia stream today, but so far the viewership is only half of my other Asia coin stream which supposedly did not have that reward, so that is telling something)

I hope the eSports side of this game can be treated more like the professional side of sports, where we have fans and the incentive is solely to watch your idol/team play in the game, or enjoy the excitement. Incentive to watch tournaments and incentive to be better in the game have different roots, though they occasionally overlap, but you could say the same with the latter incentive about not enough of the latter with different arguments.

However, I do think rewards are needed to persuade people to watch eSports and show support to certain teams, or to gain publicity to the community. Wargaming should also attempt to promote this aspect of the game more. 🙂

The Blitz Europe Cup Qualifiers have ended now, and there will be a tournament with top4 teams, i think called Blitz Europe Cup, with new regulations. as soon as players from top 4 teams receive their tickets to participate in the upcoming tournament from the BECQ, will they be able to swap a team from the one they have received a ticket with, to another one from the top4 to play for another team in the BEC, if it will happen earlier than 2 weeks before the registration for the next tournament closes? and if no, then what punishments will await the team that will try to disobey the restriction, if such even exists?

That’s actually a pretty interesting question. We know that it’s prohibited to take part in a team who didn’t get tickets but as @frigid aurora said - what if a team who qualified with tickets receives a player from another team who qualified with tickets? Are the players / tickets bound to one team or are they free to move between the 4 teams playing the blitz Europe cup?

How can you rescind the reward that you have already spent? The thing is, lets say player insults WG staff or he shares account during the tourney, he doesnt deserve pro stuff, but the results of the matches probably wouldnt change... so they can just give the rest but him the rewards

@proper river if wg streams, they generally do so on their own channel and will announce it in one of the announcement channels on here. As for tournaments - there isn't any tournament stream planned until the final stages begin

I just want to see a big map of, well, the map, where your team is spawning vs where the enemy team is spawning. I also would like the ability to change what team is what color in spectator mode because the red/blue is just confusing.

Yes make the map get big when u click on it and instead of pinging the sector just have the thing be "Attention to the map!" Or something and theres a nice pinging symbol of some sort where the person clicked

Well to be fair wargaming are more then likely going to spend as much time possible reviewing each team and players to make sure no one cheated or broke the EULA in accordance to the tournament, as it’s the biggest server tournament and across all servers it’s 200,000 USD so wargaming want to be bang on with their investigation of each team and so on
