I don't understand why are u all yapping. Since weaker teams moved to the next stage it means that you have more chances to have better group in 2nd stage. And you have to face strong teams in 3rd stage anyway so it doesn't really matter who you play against when you have to face them anyway. Hello, this tournament was the best of all tournament done by the company, we've been able to play second day with the teams that we fight every week in trainings and it's very rewarding. Last PYS was the most bad thing someone could choice for this game, only top 1 play day 2...
Even the team who train every day of the week don't pass day 2 because there is 80% chance they fight top 8/16 team during day 1. My players who train every day want to delete the game after lose pys#1 the first day.

Top 64 the second day pls wargaming it will be the most benefit and fair choice for the players.

U already have a top 32 tournament and top 16 but u create top 32 (day 2) and top 16 (day 3) group at every PYS.

Ill beg to get top 32 for day 3 but im giving up to get that fot the next season..

Well it’s important to think about everyone in my opinion, if having 4 days instead of 3(just like we have on EU server) can give more play time to some teams who would love to play an extra day, i don’t see any problems with that

Allocate $50,000 to the top 4 players, and distribute the proceeds from pack sales among the other tournament participants and the top 4 players themselves. Simply create a Day 2 for everyone who was eliminated on Day 1, with fewer trophies at stake. This way, everyone plays at least 2 days and the seeding problem is solved. Just have the last-place finisher from the group that advanced on the first day earn more trophies than the first-place finisher from the group that didn't advance on the first day. And the same for days 2 and 3.

Just divide the teams into divisions. This way, only the teams that were eliminated on day 1 and eliminated in the second division on day 2 don't play on day 3. With everyone playing for at least two days.

Something like:

Day 1:

First place - 3000 cups (go to day 2 first division)
Second place - 2500 cups (go to day 2 first division)
Third place - 2000 cups (go to day 2 second division)
Fourth place - 1500 cups (go to day 2 second division)

First division day 2:

First place - 2500 cups (go to day 3 first division)
Second place - 2100 cups (go to day 3 first division)
Third place - 1800 cups (go to day 3 second division)
Fourth place - 1500 cups (go to day 3 second division)

Second division day 2:

First place - 800 cups (go to day 3 second division)
Second place - 600 cups (go to day 3 second division)

From what they announced, they will only give rewards in credits or something like that, not in cups. Playing for credits or a small amount of gold is ridiculous, many teams wouldn't even play for that 🫠

Imagine a scenario where you beat a team on the new Day 2, and that team ends up in the top 16 while you end up in the top 32 because there were no cups as a reward

First ss is old NA comp camo (heroic warrior) pretty tuff looking camo if it was in 5 certicates for top 4

2nd ss is pro yellow (i have not used it in any of my tanks at all from how awful the looks are)

3rd ss is OG pro camo that everyone uses now from its simple design and color as most of community also wants different color from same design palette

It’s not even complicated to understand why we have this meta.

• Clippers and even auto reloaders like kran have the same dpm as default cycling gun.

• pure clippers have to reload and have a period of vulnerability as opposed to auto reloaders.

• the fact is that the dpm output of most tanks isn’t high enough to compensate for the damage burst of clips. Thanks for the garbage rammer equipment or the horrible balancing of giving high dpm to autoreloaders. Up to you to decide on how you view the issue here.

• mediums can’t compete even with high dpm because they mostly aren’t fast enough or don’t have enough hp to compete because they get deleted by clippers/autoreloaders.

• "traditional" clippers are garbage because war gaming treats them differently than kran or 116 for some reason.

• 50B/T57 get garbage armour and hit point pool to compensate for the clip. Whereas kran and 116 get to have good armour, similar mobility an auto reloaded. The only drawback is slightly worse dpm and gun handling (which doesn’t matter as much when you are brawling).

If they want to make money, they should sell meme-worthy and fun tanks like the BZT (ironically, I suggested this months ago), but keep competitive play accessible to all teams, and not a scenario where the teams that earn money from Wargaming (top 4) spend it to stay in the top 4 while other teams force players to spend their own money or play with other tanks because those sold in the store are for a limited time and at exorbitant prices

I don't know if this is the case on other servers, but Felice is extremely rare in the top 16 and 32 teams on the NA server while everyone has 116 and everyone spent at least 25,000 gold to buy it. If the Felice is an option and everyone should have it, 4 teams would already mean 1 million gold spent for everyone to have Felice. Is it better to have 300 players from 30 teams spending 25,000 Gold each, or 40 players spending money on crates? I don't understand how this strategy of exorbitant prices and limited time can make sense

The competitive scene is a small amount of the players which actually spend money on the game.

First of all gold has been devalued a lot. So it makes no sense from a selling point of view to sell the brand new sought after vehicle for gold if you want to maximise profit.

Might as well make people gamble to get the tank. That way you maximise the amount of players spending ludicrous amounts of cash. Then in a second time you sell for gold to drain gold out of accounts with the nice added upside that some people which don’t have gold will buy gold to buy the tank.

Since Reforged is practically running on 1 Unified server, it means that and all players from all servers (NA, EU, APAC) will be able to participate in 1 event at once. - practically if you wanted to you could play with 2 NA players, 4 EU players and 1 APAC player in a same battle.

There wont be any NA, EU and APAC servers anymore. It will be just 1 server.

Keep in mind, that servers which host the battle it self, are anywhere in the world (you are able to see the list of them in gamemode selector), and it's up to the Matchmaker, to decide on which server battle will take place on.

for cross-server tournaments, yes, there will be higher ping. the tournament organizer will surely work out the best server location for everyone involved to make sure no one is dealing with massive ping

i think its still a little too early to talk about tournament details in Reforged though, we just don’t really know what WG has in planning yet

No, you can't come back to the main bracket once you are in the proving ground, about the duration i think 2 days max if we look at the rewards section of the tournament

@queen fox What the heck happened with the Proving Grounds brackets on the EU server? The regulations state that teams finishing 2nd and 3rd place participate, but in reality, teams finishing in 2nd place don't, and the brackets were seeded using teams finishing 3rd and 4th.

The seeding in PyS #1 is random and just winrate based in this sense, whamen mentioned it’s gonna be subject to adjustments based on the community in the 2nd and 3rd qualifier.

To those ( @west minnow ) saying t8 and t4 shouldn’t be in the same day 2 groups: there are only 8 groups. It’s nearly impossible to place every single one individually, and impossible considering it’s seeded by winrate.

Also to be exact - no, some teams are the exact same as last season, but if you play in a totally new team, which just has players that are top whatever, then you can’t even argue for treatment like a top whatever team before a single qualifier gets played. Take L333T as an example. Is it a team that played last time? No. Clan that played last time? No. Then why should it be considered anything more? Just because of what history some players in the team have or what? It’s not quantifiable, so I am surprised it’s even being brought up. Same goes for other teams and groups @night cloud

Can WG please be more transparent about Proving Grounds (Frontline) and (Breakthrough)

I get that it's a rough idea at the moment. This seems to be the reason that PYS 1 is 4 days instead of the usual 3 days.

As it stands, the Grandfinals of Frontline was moved to tomorrow. Does that mean immediately after that, Breakthrough will start? Or will Frontline have to finish first then Breakthrough will start on the fourth day?

I would like to be prepared.

@queen fox in Regulations, it states that Winter, Oasis, New Bay, Vineyards, Canal and one or two more maps won't be used as tie-breaker.

But in today's Frontline, UB Semifinals had Oasis as tie breaker. And in tomorrow's GF, Vineyards is the tie-breaker.

Please help to clarify if this is intentional or one of the things that needs to be worked out.
