@queen fox Hello. I'm experiencing a bug where almost all of my settings are reset for no reason, including controls, markers and hud. This is the 5th time this has happened in a week, and it has only happened on mobile; I haven't had this problem on pc. Even my fixed tanks are removed. I was playing normally today. I closed the game for a few minutes, then when i opened it again to play a scrim, i saw that my controls had been reset along with the other settings. It's really annoying, especially if it happens before a tournament.
I will make a ticket about this, but i am mentioning it here in case anyone else is experiencing this problem

Exactly, these brackets are perfectly fine, teams like FOTON rely on team winrate over skill because of their brackets, this is a great change for the game and the better teams will still move on anyways! Maybe if your teams PYS winrate wasn’t 41% you would have a better group?

I think there’s a misunderstanding here, you keep saying “you did this”, but I’m not manually seeding teams like a tournament wizard in stage 1.

The Stage 1 bracket is automated and it’s the same system we’ve used for years. I can tweak things for future events (and Reforged should eventually help with that), but I can’t just rewrite the entire system and database.

I don't need to work for the FBI, I just need to not have dyscalculia (the minimal ability to do basic math). The correlation coefficient in PYS 1 and PYS 2 was approximately -1. For example, in PYS 1, [FOTON], with the 4th best seeding, faced the team with the 4th worst seeding, [AS_1]. Similarly, in PYS 2, [FOTON], with the 5th best seeding, faced the 5th worst seeding, [PT2K], and so on for all teams. This means the strongest-weakest method was used in PYS 1 and 2. Along with the top-seeded team [GG] being rewarded in PYS 1 by skipping the upper bracket semifinals and going straight to the upper bracket finals, just as it has always been in World of Tanks Blitz tournaments.

However, in PYS 3, the correlation coefficient between the seeding and the teams facing each other directly was 0.02 (almost zero). This means the strongest-weakest criterion is no longer being used as it was in PYS 1 and 2. For those who don't know math, a zero correlation means there was absolutely no criteria used for selection. This allowed an entire group of teams that were at the bottom of the seeding rankings to face each other, as Pafy observed. It also caused teams with high seeding to compete against each other. Like Astro, who were fighting for a top 8 finish in the Grand Finals on Day 3 of PYS 2, and were eliminated in PYS 3 Day 1 due to this lack of criteria. Not to mention that a team with one of the worst seedings [K5D] went straight to the upper bracket finals.
Your claim that "it's the same system" is a mathematical impossibility. The criteria changed and everyone here knows it, but it's much easier to crack jokes like you did.

If that was the case we’d expect you to keep it close with the other 69% seed team, instead you are 0-7 against them!!! 2- It just seems illogical. If this game is both PC and mobile, why were PC players banned and had their accounts closed in mobile tournaments? Now, both can play in the same tournament. It's very strange.

3- Playing this game on PC is easier and gives you more advantages in tournaments compared to mobile. Anyway, that's what I think.

4- I wish the tournaments were like they used to be, with tanks in the technology tree being powerful and usable, and PC and mobile being separate. Currently, there are only 1 or 2 tanks, but most of them are special tanks.

They stopped branding themselves as a mobile only game for a while now. Before, tournaments were mobile only which is why PC users were restricted at the time. Even then, it's not like PC is a big enough advantage if there are still plenty of teams that can perform with a mostly mobile-device roster. Also you should watch more tournament streams, most tanks used in competition are either super affordable or free.

There are teams in the top 32 right now which might not meet the legionaires limit either, you cant make an argument for enforcing the rule to get YPAH out of top 32 when it doesn’t apply to that. If a fully legionaire team wants to play top 32, no rule prevents that. And OGSAS (previous clan of YPAH) did exactly that multiple times

It’s fair to remove them from top 8, but I dont see why they should be disqualified from the season all together

It was recently asked what the problem with CW is. One of the major problems is that such decisions make you not want to participate anymore. CW has a lot of potential, but it seems like WG doesn't care what happens after the "pros".

While I am not blaming the tournament manager @queen fox for this - she cannot control when servers decide to fail or not - it has been really irritating for a lot of us for a multitude of reasons, the most noteworthy being:

• APAC is a vast server with many different times zones therefore many players have to organise in advance to be able to play around the designated schedule. Which makes last minute changes to the schedule very awkward it terms of organisation.
• Many of us have experienced server related bugs during PYS games, shot delay, random ping spikes, reticle lag etc... Which is unacceptable in a competitive scene. Which aligning with today's server issues, begs the question of whether we will have such issues during the games of the top8 tournament.

A large number of us feel as if our involvement in the game and the importance of our time has been thoroughly neglected during this tournament. And it does correlate with the impression of WG's not so recent disinterest for tournaments.

Measures must be taken to prevent this sort of issue from occurring again. And players should be compensated for having had their time wasted.

The first one was completely human error - I am still new and learning our systems, I do apologize for that.

The others though, that is outside of our hands. We alerted it the moment the reports came in and they have been working ever since to get it rectified. Hoping that it would get solved quickly, I moved the event with one hour, and now that the issues are still ongoing, we have to postpone it with one more day.

I understand the frustration, but I promise I care ❤️ And if these things happen, we find solutions as we go along.

With our next season in May-June, I hope for us to be ready for a few more changes and we will see how that lands with the community.

From what someone has told me, Wednesdays are cursed, we might need to schedule around that in the future too
