Why ? I said before that I played several times with a player who had a broken mic and we couldn't communicate via discord. I encountered cases when I was playing in a mix of 7 good players, but we lost in quick 7v7 tourney only because we lacked communication without a chat, etc etc.

Even if it's 5% games out of my tourney games, I am eligible to speak about this issue, especially when I understand that chat would be beneficial.

This means discord voice chats, grinding and maxing out tanks, maxing out crew skills, buying full equipment, running max cooldown boosters, buying premiums and collector tanks

Not every person and clan is going to meet that minimum standard in order to be competitive. That’s on them

For sure, but WG doesn't make unnecessary differences. They don't make golden ammo op laser with 500m pen, because it's unnecessary difference/advantage (for example). However, disabling tourney chat was one of unnecessary changes.

You don't have to be competitive to be eligible to play tourney or to have some fun. Tourneys have to bring some good gaming experience. Disabled chat just reduces this gaming experience.

As with training rooms. Like, why would you disable chat in training rooms.

I can understand the ban in casual random, but in tourney it was unnecessary change because of above mentioned problems for players without discord 🤷

I have played smth like 800-900 quick tourney battles for the last several months and 80% teams I encountered were 45-55% players and I am sure at least a 1/3 of them didn't use discord 🤷

1. As I mentioned before, there are cases when communication was vital or at least it could be a good plus to your chances.

2. Even in case they still lose, they will more likely get a better gaming experience because they had more capabilities to win)

3. People can be invested and still don't use discord because of some issues (broken mic, angry mom, idk 🤭). With a chat they'd definitely would feel themselves better)

On my home cannot use discord while the tournament battles are on the time other family members should get sleeping. Also my voice at home is so loud that it would disturp every one. Also during battles my voice communication is not nicest for little members of family.

They said the chat was closed due to too much non-tactical use, then why is it closed in tournaments? Stop acting selfishly, my friend. Let me tell you the problem we're having with this season's Blitz Masters. My friend had a lot of ping because of discord and couldn't join the match. He had to leave the discord and chat was closed. What do you expect us to do? While there is the top8 team opposite

Dude, everything is not going well in life, it can't go anyway. We argue that the chat should be opened for such exceptions. And remember, even if there are 2 people defending something, this does not change our share of right 😉

Of course, chat does not have a large effect. But the purpose of closing the chat has nothing to do with tournaments. And in tournaments, chat is not used for toxicity. If they did, you can also complain about users by submitting a ticket "Not hard".

Yeah, I think the only way discord would work is if u had it being captured via stream labs OBS, or even just the OBS software. And then had a capture card capturing what your iPad screen is displaying. Then you can just sync the two and bam u get team discord voice over plus tournament gameplay

No I haven’t used OBS, paired with my IPad yet. I’ve used OBS before when I used to mess around with twitch streams and stuff, but I don’t own a capture card to get iPad gameplay to the computer. My fix for that was using stream champ. But stream champ, as well as apps like Omlet arcade don’t pick up discord, only team speak.

So like Im fairly sure the only way to let discord audio through would be through PC obs software, and pair it with a capture card of the iPad screen in obs

I have a Mac and the way I did it was essentially using 2 channels

1. iPad - USB to Mac directly - Quicktime, which captures iPad video and game sound - use Quicktime channel 1 input in OBS
2. used OBS itself to capture portion of Mac screen and Discord audio
   The only issue was that I didn't use headphones so it also captured iPad echo lol but the way to fix it is probably just mute iPad itself, then turn on Quicktime volume and get game audio to your ears that way
   Heres what it looked like combined (nvm, i ruined the video in the editing lol but originally it was a stream and it did have proper audio)

You can probably get some form of it on Windows. What you're really looking for is just a program to mirror your iPad screen to your computer, and then set that program as the input to OBS

Coming from an NA player, I don’t see the point of this. There is no correlation between pub matches and tournaments. Going back to what Daze said there is very rarely instances where toxicity is present in tournaments, it is a chance to their friends, and opposing team to wish each other good luck, etc.

Why should a player be punished if he is unable to Vc and on top of that unable to communicate in his own team chat? Discouraging players at its finest. How are beginners supposed to grow?

I would like to point out of the obvious that most teams use Discord to communicate so this doesn’t apply to most of us here. However again, it is a chance for beginners to start out and wish teams their regards

The E4 changes are fine. The 50B changes are a bit weird, but acceptable. Guns being reloaded at the start of the game is not fine. That’s a lot of initial nukes in comp. This might make comp games a lot more campy. Therefore, this may minimize the length of brawls and comp actions (rotations). Comp games might become similar to golf rather than exciting, action packed football or hockey.

I really hope that Lagoon would feature in comp. 😄

He is playing in one team for the spring season. This is his second pys with them this season.

Unfortunately, his team doesn't show up and he ends up losing his matches a lot.

He wants to go to another team but is worried about the regulations. Specifically if he goes to another team and qualifies, Will he get the echelon rewards or not?

But since it's already the second pys, he'll only be playing two pys in that team which is one less than the regulation states.

But really, he will play all 4 pys. So like is there any way he can get the rewards if he switches teams now?
