Yes and no i mean i don't wanna sound unfriendly but a lot of people just spammed themselves up in ratings i needed 664 battles i think for 6,6 k and someone with 3 k rating battles had almost as much as i did surely they deserve the rewards since they "worked" for it but it kind of ruined the fun of the rewards when now everybody can do it so easily just by spamming it's like that since the new system is there.

On both pbr and nonpbr tanks it just looks a bit bland tbh. Not about the muted colors, I just want more glow glow! 😂 like imagine if they made it hot flush banana yellow that glows really bright. He just uses WT, T92E1, and T-100 LT
For an average tier of approximately 9, these are not exceptional stats, they are a bit above average

But he's at the top because of that time available to spam 3.4k matches
52% WR and 2300 average tells me he doesn't top their team in damage everytime either

its something i'm definitely not proud of, but i tried doing very little effort to climb by spamming battles one season.

I was able to get to about 5.4k points with prenerf kran, doing 1.2k average damage and a sub40% winrate. I just played about 1.2k battles, thats all it really takes.

My avrg waiting time was 1.30 Minutes waiting for a match and from 3,6 k to 6,6 k only needed 664 Battles anyways what i wanna say is on EU i would say spamming is when people need around 1.2 k Battles what a lot of people needed the last seasons since the new system is there for just 5,5 k. In my opinion Ratings are useless to play when so many people can get the camo without really working hard for it and just spamming a lot of Battles = in a few months premium camos will be more rare than the 5k camo.

well its kinda similar in that you just lose less point the better you play on a loss. You needed to lose less points then you gained on a win to keep climbing. The new system just made it easier for better players to climb faster.

Well, it doesn't matter much to be honest, because even tho the meta from pubs is the same as the one from ratings, there're a lot people that play ratings to grind missions without affecting their stats, and to grind credits, so that kinda changes the teams composition a little bit. At tier 8 you can find way more Chimeras than what you do in pubs, for example, but nothing relevant at the end of the day. This is due to the fact that your tanks must be fully upgraded in order to participate in ratings, which means you don't see people grinding stock tanks. This also leads to an over abundance of premiums, but it's whatever to be honest. A bad player with a good premium will still be a bad player.

Concerning the tiers, any is fine. Just play the one that makes you feel more confortable, with the tanks you like and do well with. Tier 7 suffers from always being bottom tier, so it's not recomended to start playing there. T8 is pretty average. Tier 9 is fine, but it tends to get matched with t10 more often, so it's kinda like playing t7 in that regard. Tier 10 is also quite average, like tier 8. Between t8 and t10, there's not really much difference, and the difficulty will depend mostly on what tiers you're used to play (none is inherently harder than the other).

The calibration is just 10 games that you must play in order to get your initial rating (you can check your current pts during the calibration on BlitzStars). It's not really that important, and the only difference is gonna make is how many games you're gonna get early on during the season, since higher calibration usually means longer queue times. A bad calibration can force you to play 10-20 games more than what you anticipated, but that's nothing.

You should be able to learn about the rest with WG's articles about ratings and the couple of videos they have on YT.

somehow the matches are mostly one sided in ratings, 0-7, 1-7, etc
and your wr will be around 50-55%, so calibrating higher than 4.5k seems impossible

Calibrating higher than that is extremely difficult regardless of the server and what games you think you see, I've had 100% 3.5k+ calibrations that have put me just over 4.5k iirc (before new points system but 100% means its very similar, although it seems like you can gain more from losing and doing well than just winning and doing well)

As far as I know, it doesn't.
You can track your ratings during the calibration in Blitzstars. I always do it, and with the new system I don't see any difference. So far, calibration depends mostly on wins.

Have you read what I wrote? This issue everyone has was kind of fixed. The problem is, that I had rating wiz on concept already and this season I received another one (credits as compensation) and they didnt replace the credits with correct camo

They have fixed it for me. Though I didn’t even want it to because the old camo looks so much better. The avatar has been removed and replaced by the 30d one and the camos have been replaced too. So I guess for most people it will have been fixed by now. If not then you probably won’t have to wait long.

the reason why the na server isn’t fixed yet is because they are probably doing it server by server and they have to do it correctly so that the people who had the camo before do not get it removed from them

I did get a notification on my avatar thing because I now have a new avatar which is only 30 days long. I instantly knew they had fixed it because I had no avatar and no camo on my rating tanks.

You most likely got a compensation in credits after last season, that means WG won't be able to manually check for the proper replacement.
If that's the case, I would suggest you to send a ticket to support, with screenshots attached if you have them, explaining that you got the camo again during this last season, that you got a credit compensation, and that you're waiting for the proper camo to be handed over.

I presume the fix it's absolutely manual, or requires different script edits depending on each case. Either that, or the "fix" will arrive according to each server's time.

M60 credit coefficiency is like playing a normal m48. Not all premiums have the same credit coefficiency

I think if you never had the previous diamond camo (rating wiz) then they should’ve fixed it by now. They will have taken the old one away and given the new one.
If you already had rating wiz on your tank, then they’ve still not fixed that yet

iirc, if you shoot a tank that someone else spotted, you get half the XP, and the one that spotted it gets the other half of the XP
The 92E1 could very well be above you due to assistance, damaging targets he spotted himself, and 2 kills

first of all, ratings points don't depend purely on exp, it has a different way of measuring contribution, but exp is still relevant
he probably got more points than you because: 1) he spotted more tanks initially, which nets you a bonus 2) he killed and damaged tier 10 tanks while being a t9 (there's a 10% exp multiplier there in effect) 3) he got kills and you didn't
