you cant always blame teams though. if you yolo and die because you only think to look at the map after youre already in position and solo on a flank then just own up to it. Its easy to get angry and be like "bad team always" but if youre playing as an individual unit rather than actually helping the team progress the game (soak hits, take bases, do damage etc) youre gonna stay in that salty mindset about ratings in general. and on the opposite side of that is if you only play to farm damage like svytta and others then you throw away the chance you actually have to win because u might be the strongest asset to your team and if youre not able to actually help take ground or take bases its usually gonna end with you farming damage but losing which is consistent in terms of point gain but also a really selfish playstyle all things considered

Its good calibration, but you calibrate at the end of the month when all the good people are above 5k and the bad are below 4k.

As somebody who plays most kinds of tanks about evenly, camping is fine in TDs, especially ones with little armor. Just get some solid shots out and if you can’t move to find shots. As long as you can get some good damage out and move up to help hold the line if needed to share hp I have no issues with camping.

It may have also just been a bad day for that player, so that may have been one of the reasons they called you a bot. I’ve been called worse by people who did well under half my damage, sometimes it’s just how the days go

The whole point of blitz is staying alive long enough to deal enough dmg which lowers the enemy pool to help your team win.

Also in ratings theres capping supremacy, spotting, tracking, and kills. Damage is the bare minimum.

Don't do it, you could try to spot the enemy for those teammates and receive the spotting dmg instead. If you lose the battle and didn't win points, at least you will not lose too many points for camping

But if that’s what you were doing playing tier 8 then you could certainly go higher if you just spam battles. There is a new cluster in Sao Paulo (NA_C3) that connects to the main NA server. It may provide South American players with a more stable connection and lower ping. As with all the clusters there can still be internet problems connecting to it, but it could help.

I've also noticed that one of the game servers for Reforged Ultra Tests is also listed as being in Sao Paulo.

yea absurd prices, getting "offer of the week!" 8 times in a single day and it's different each time, so Clearly it wasnt THE offer of the week, it was AN offer of the week lol

and demanding "you need this!" for purchases, and FOMO purchases just means i wont be funding blitz. now wot PC? heck yeah, lot of good stuff there even tho battle results are almost always against you ( 1 voice out of 15 on a team ) versus blitz (1 out of 7), so harder to take control if the team sucks but there is genuine improvements made there...

Keep in mind, wot blitz devs kept saying "we cant add lost temple and mirage because of the game engine" and other crap like "we cant rebalance maps because of old engine"... and then, when reforged looked like most of the committed playerbase was about to leave, suddenly go "OH WAIT LOOK WHAT WE CAN BRING BACK"... its a cry for help, not a new way of expanding the game

By the way, if you ever get the chance to play PC, play onslaught... its like wot blitz ratings but 1.) only tier 10, 2.) every tank gets a special ability, 3.) every tank has better DPM/accuracy/hitpoints, 4.) doesnt affect MAIN stats (like blitz), and 5.) no OP purchasable tanks can play its only tech tree and reward tanks which are like foch 155/fv183 or just reskins

I usually use AMX 13 75 and 13 90 and calibrate in the 4ks too.... no...okay, I use AMX 13 75 and 13 90 cause they're fun and easy to uh....steal all the greatness from your entire team :) I guess it's all really luck too. I've had a lot of bad rounds/days but also a few great ones hehe.
And yes I don't really play anything other than ratings now. It also gives me an unintentional limitation where I can't play in the mornings or too late at night when I should be studying or doing hw XD

No, sit in the middle. Not too close to the fight but enough to support frontline. And far enough to fall back and have support.

Sitting in the back makes you useless and you have to gamble someone like me doesn't steal your points by spoting assist.

The issue with playing frontline is that 9/10 times your team won't support you for map control.

As a player who is in a similar boat as far as map awareness goes (and not caring about dmg farming, I play for wins, not getting points on losses), my personal recommendation is to play the spots of the map that give your team the best overall chance of winning.

If you are playing a heavy tank, it’s often going to mean you find a spot and hold it, especially when outnumbered by flankers. Get damage but do your best to mostly just hold the position.

If you are playing a med/light, find your spot to either flank or provide a good amount of crossfire. Don’t expose yourself too much when giving crossfire as you don’t have much armor or hp to keep getting shot at (much). Depending on the map you may not be able to crossfire much or at all depending on opponents positioning, in that case flanking is a solid option. Be wary of snipers and campers, however if you can flank behind enough to get good shots in, you’ll likely get some good damage and help turn some guns away from your teammates.

Take my advice carefully, as I do play quite agro (I play certain paper TDs frontline on the med side), and my advice may not be suitable in your case. Generally though it boils down to keep getting shots in when you can in any class, and hold sides the best you can (some cases in a med/light tank if you are getting rushed by their full team just run if you can. Otherwise just try to live for the max amount of time and force the opponents to peak out into your teammates view to kill you off.

Just to give an idea of stats, this is what I’ve gotten recently. This way you know I ain’t a 20%er who plays T10 with maybe a shot per game lol.

Unless, of course, you apparently have the luck of General Monkay o'er yond'. Then, I dunno how to help, sorry >:)

That's why I play for spotting/tracking assist. If my top players become selfish, I win points. If my team falls apart I farm and win points.
