I see him sometimes and I can easily whoop him. He’s not even playing t10 which has more people. He is playing tiger 2 a non meta tank.

This could be psychological but if you get a thumbs down/reported your mm is slower. Also when you win you get more people of similar rating and when you lose you are top rating with bad teams.

Lorraine Fearless was the Ratings tank before T49 Fearless. Its not for sale right now, but when its sold, it’ll likely be sold for 20,000 coins. Up to you, but I highly recommend one of the tanks. Imo, lorraine is better, but both are good.

Is6 is similar to the regular tank but it’s easy to play. The Lorraine is slighty better than the regular Lorraine but it’s fun to play, the ace is low so you print credits. The t49 I found is better at trading against other t49 if you run rammer instead of calibrated shells. However the t49 seems to have bad abilities in game modes and less armor so people HE you like crazy.

Top 100 people get the tank and top 250 gets parts. The leaderboard on shows 30 people at a time so there’s 91 people in diamond. So this season is 3 months so everyone should be in diamond by the end. Also the new background at 5.5k might change things. Rating leagues are by points 5k is diamond, 4k is platinum.

It's gold, if you do really good you tend to get more points. If he got an ace. An ace in top 10 is worth about ~13 Points, also if it's the last calibration battle, it doesn't show because rating results come in after match finishes

The higher you climb in rating the less points you earn until 6k where you will earn 3 points max per game.

I want to forward a suggestion to the developers. It's regarding the damage done and points. Most of the time team that loses has one player who is rewarded a positive amount of points. For this instance and like many others I've noticed, a TD tank with a significantly larger amount of kills and damage is not awarded points while the medium or light tank does. I assume the medium tank gets rewards for spotting, they are more likely to capture points ( not the case in this battle). Obviously, TD tank does not have such capabilities and I assume, it would not be fair to take away such a granting scheme from the medium and light tanks, but one thing that could be done for Td's in this instance is accumulated points for not being spotted while damage or kill. now I have a very decent tank, but I am hesitant to play in ratings for the same reason. In my opinion, developers should take this into account."

The points that you earn are determined by the XP that you earn in game. It is a combination of many things, such as Damage, Kills, Assisted damage. The best way to earn points in my opinion is to try to get ~2000-2500 damage, 2 kills. From my experience, it seems that kills are the deciding factor in earning points, as they get you a lot of xp. So just try to pick up every clear you can. Also aim for tracking shells, as teammates shooting enemies after you have tracked them earns you Assisted damage, and a lot more xp

I would risk just hitting tracks without damage. My armor is non-existent so I prioritise clean hefty shots and reassuring kills. While playing medium or light tanks I have faster tracking is very important and easear achievable.

I mean in general, yes, kills are the deciding factor. Someone with 1k damage less than you can get points if they have a kill, and you dont. Notice I also mentioned how assisted damage plays a big role

In that game, the astron gets more xp, because he is shooting at a higher tier, which nets you more xp. He also probably has assisted damage. You, however, were in a tier 9, shooting at Tier 8s, which nets you less xp than him.

It is unclear why, but Autoloaders / Autoreloaders also earn more xp / points than a single shot gun. Perhaps it’s because they damage more modules.

I agree that the devs should fix the points system. From my experience, playing tier 8s such as the Bourrasque worked well for me. In general, mediums work well for me, as they have a high rate of fire, which is good for getting kills. They also have good ability to spot, and track. This is my progress from playing the Stb and bourrasque this season, and I recommend them both

Tier 8 is also a lot more consistent than 9 or 10, and easier to earn points in. It has less ratings tryhards too

I am quite good with that small tank and it's quite an enjoyable tank to play with. at times I feel like hitting a wall and playing with certain tanks just because of the unfair advantage other tanks have in regards to the point system. Yeah, bourrasque is good even in losses, because it has good potential to deal damage and get kills fast. For example, if there are two 300hp tanks, that nets you 600 more damage and 2 kills, all in 2.5s. Very good endgame imo. It also has a low profile and its super mobile

A profile is insane. Ability to kill two one-shot tanks in 2.5s. is quite an advantage too. If I unload 4 clips, I am almost guaranteed to earn points even when the battle is lost.

If you’re trying to grind camo, I would suggest you play battles in the tank/td first and not care about points then switch after 30-40 battles to tanks that earn points.

This season I noticed that tanks that spot more earn more xp than tanks that do more dmg/kills which I think is designed to prevent the players from camping all game and then being active at the last moment farming points.

As for tds, you generally want to track as many tanks as possible.

If you want to grind diamond camo on a specific tank you need the most amount of battles in that tank at the tier. You need 50 battles to earn the camo so you need to play about 26 battles in the tank you want and 24 battles in other tanks that gain points.

Weekend teams especially Sunday are the worst. Last season I literally didn’t play on the weekend.

The skill gap is too wide too early. And majority of the top players are playing at t8 instead of t10 like last season. This throws mm out of balance and you see teams where 6k guys have silver players. There should be more t10 platinum players so mm should theoretically be better.

If you’re losing too much switch tiers or quit. Not gaining points is less worse than a losing streak.

So, for example, if you want camo on an E-100, you must play 50 battles in tier 10 ratings, with the majority of those 50 in E-100

I don't know if anyone here has said this, but the evaluation after the game that "supposedly" the player on the losing team with the best performance + rating points is probably well-intentioned, but this leads to a lot of players A selfish, anti-social way of playing leads to him not caring about any of the other players on his team. Furthermore, I have to make it clear here that most of the 95% of these players do not get green + plunks because they played particularly well, but rather they sneakily wait in the back row until their opponents are so weakened that they only have one shot can kill the tank and thus guarantees the plus points. In this way, no team play is required here, but rather miserable solo players are rewarded for what they do.

The only thing I can think of is that you didn’t spot your dmg or the ace bar increase from yesterday. The only way is to compare the base xp you gain from both game.

The base xp and the "most XP" shown in your garage are not the same, base xp is always lower so you would not have got 2.3k base xp

Xp gained and ratings points are slightly different . In the non ace game you spotted/assisted more, giving you more points.

The only skill part of rating is that you can earn more points in less battles.

yeah xD. i don't want to defend them but i can assure you that sometime you are just in a bad mood and you do shxt or its just on of this game when you get one clip and you can't do anything. i would say on 10games, on 1 i do absolutly shxt and do 800 dammages because of bad decision or bad vizualisation of the situation i am in. so i try to not blame people too fast but yeah sometime you are right there is absolutely some bots in the games or 5 years old kids playing on the moon.

If you see the same guy and you know he’s going to camp just play passive and farm dmg and spotting off him.

When you camp you get less points because you didn’t spot the tank yourself. It’s easy to steal points from him if you do things properly. So if you lose you always gain points.

We have two top players on NA that camp in the back in order to farm off the team or drive to the empty flank to be last alive. Essentially their actions always end in a loss and they do it on purpose to gain points on a loss.

When I’m on their team, I know what they will do, where they will go. I just play passive, not making aggressive pokes/trades, spotting and tracking target for them. Eventually when the team loses I get the points. This has forced them to support me on games and hate me for stealing points.

I really don’t understand why people complain about bad team mates. The objective isn’t to win as many games as possible in pubs it’s to maximize your point gain. Sure winning helps but if you know you have a bad team just play for points it’s really not hard to understand

Ratings fell off I swear, at the beginning when I first hit 6.1k it was the same players who were really talented I fought against and it was always a competition to take out the star player in the top 10 and now late season near the end all the bots come out to play and I lost so much I just stopped playing

Also some of these players (me included I'm not infallible) have selective loss of skill, like yk when you finally unlock the final boss and he's trash, godly on the enemy team but trash on mine I never complain about teammates and idrc but I think that's pretty funny seeing someone ace then get ammo'd first 30s next game

Also all the top ratings players were around the first season so there was more competition. In perspective number 1 in season 1 reached 6.9k after 3 months and season 2 number 1 reached 7k and we still have 2 month-ish left.

I feel like WG changed mm so now it’s faster to get battle which is awesome. However that means you’re not waiting 5mins to get an all diamond/top 20 team like last season. Even during this event I’m not getting all diamond/platinum teams like season 1.

I’m pretty sure you will still be top 100 end of season.

You can also do my burnout/no time to play strat and just aim for 10-20 points a day. For you that’s around less than 10 battles a day.

You have 56 days and 10 points a day is an extra 560 points for low effort.

Top 100 gain on average 20 points a day. And number 100 moves up 15 ish points per day. If you you’re crazy and want to climb top 10 you would need to average 30+ points a day.

My highest in a day in top ten was close to 100 points but that was no grass touching pain
