There’s a couple of reasons why, the skill gap already happened so it’s easier to climb. The most active players are the top 110 players so your mm will be good. And a couple of the top players haven’t played in weeks/months.

Tbh top 100 being at 5700 rn means that the top players are getting it. Also there’s 500 people in diamond.

I do not know it either. I have it sometimes that it loads and basically tells me that a round is starting, but it keeps loading, supposedly. That's when the round begins. If I close the game and then go in, my settings are gone in the round. And it's not because of my internet/device.

Well, I am sick of tired seeing tvp players. They just pick tvp and go to corner, farm damage. It is really annoying and abusing your teammates. Cuz they don't even spot anyone. They just farm. Now, I am just leaving meds side when I see tvp in my team. Cuz they want me to spot for them. I don't even care losing anymore. Those useless players are mostly 45-50wr with 5k rating. Honestly if you are complaining about getting out of gold league that’s just a skill issue. Even on a loss good players are gaining. It’s taken me less than 100 games the past couple seasons to reach diamond it’s really not that difficult as long as you don’t play completely brain dead. In calibration if you’re the best loser in terms of xp you gain points. It works like normal rating.

You’re calibration doesn’t matter. I’ve calibrated bronze for fun and reached diamond.

Ratings isn’t about winning every battle, it’s about gaining the most xp regardless the outcome.

Also if you’re struggling in gold it’s because you can’t influence the battle to make you win, you are basically getting carried by your teammates.

By consistently surviving more, being more patient, minimizing bleeding hp, and punish those making mistakes.

Yea honestly being patient and not peaking and making bad trades is the easiest way to farm damage. You want to peak when your team peaks to trade theirs or your Hp more effectively. So if you take a shot they get two in return or maybe you just get a free shot. Helps to peak on heavies after they fire so learning their general reload and timing it with yours can help. Being patient also means your opponents are more likely to make the first mistake as they get impatient and want to do something be ok sitting at a spot for like 30 seconds to a minute without doing much as your team positions better
Living is the most important thing you can do. Often can farm at least a thousand damage in a losing game by just being alive and trading off your teams HP as they die. Can quite often farm more than that too. Also focus on getting at least one kill in a losing game very hard to gain without at least a kill

I add on that ratings is different from regular battles because it’s about xp. The more xp you earn the more points you make and the more likely you are to gain points on a loss.

Here’s my rating checklist for xp:

1. Cap 1 supremacy base (cap/recap bases)
2. Top Dmg
3. 1 kill (Focus higher tier tanks)
4. Spot assist
5. Track assist
6. Spot 2+ tank

Xp is combo of these things, so if you pick 3-4 to focus on every battle you consistently gain points.

From my experience I will recommend dont play tier VII and tier X (maybe only 50 battles for camo) Tier VII because when you lose you will be less likely to get points because in final table bourasque, emil, will often out-dmg you. In tier VII i found anni is good, LTG is also very good performing because of early spots and asist dmg. And T71 playing hit and run. When I was no life-ing the lorraine (I was second whole season until I quit), I would come home from school, start the q and wait 30-45mins and watch YouTube. After the first battle I started studying or homework and took a break every 30-45 mins for 1 battle. After I finished studying I cooked dinner, showered and ate then played until I lost 2 in a row. Got good grades and the Lorraine.

The t49 was different, I played 10 battles a day (less than an hour) trying to get 100 points a day in platinum, then dropped to 50, 30, 20 and ended the season with 10 points or 2 battles a day near the end. Im jaded because I could’ve quit a week earlier.

The easiest way to grind camo is to play 26 battles in the tank you want for each tier then play the next 24 battles grinding points. If you still need more points you play a couple of battles in the camo tank first each day then pick another to grind points until diamond.

I have a script that compiles the entire leaderboard's json data, but unfortunatelly for now it can only be compiled after the end of the day, since the 5 minute refresh is not enough to pull all the player data from the api for EU/RU (though its more enough for NA and Asia, since they have less players on the leaderboard), and (specifically for EU, and RU) the final data will have inconsistencies, if compiled when rating battles are active. I need to more with the async and modified user-agent header values, to see if I will be able to get sub 5-min compile for EU and RU

I kinda left the project behind, since I couldnt get sub-5 min compile for eu/ru, so Ill check tomorrow and see if I can bypass the the http502 through changing user-agent header values on the httprequestmessages. Will post an update tomorrow if I manage to get it to work

I’ve already made that and put into a Google sheet which can refresh every 5 mins. I added extra info so you can track a players position change, points change battle and wr for the day. There’s also a bot version but it only shows your position or top players of each league.

Only issue is that Google limits the amount of api calls per day, and I’m working on fixing my code because it’s pinging each individual for stats every 5 mins.

Also the guy who made the bot is working on a website version of the leaderboard too.

Im running everything through google app script which has a 20k daily url fetch limit, which i can also batch the request from the main api to reduce the fetch. (I still have some full compiled data from eu (100k+ json objects) if you want to see it).

Some time ago I started working on a script that would be able to fit within the 5min refresh time, but I never got around to fixing the errors it had, and kinda abandoned the project. Hell, I dont even remember what was the issue with this script, I just know I was too lazy to fix it at the time and abandoned it. In short, it takes the leader of each league, and starts branching from each one (with the task starting from the diamond leader id, only going down). Then takes the last/first player id, depending on the branching direction, and pings again, but I really forgot where the logical error was.

Right now, api is spitting out http 500 left and right and 202 packet responses are incredibly slow, so the api is most definitely having issues presumably due to the ongoing server-side maintenance.

ok, I went over it, though I didn't understand some if it, I could (i hope) infer it. just a summary if I am getting this right, you get total players calibrated from the current season info endpoint, then you get the leaders from each rating league, and then start requesting from them, with bronze, silver, gold and platinum branching up as well as down, while diamond only branches down. for each request, you add the json data of unadded objects, then take the top/bottom id, depending on the branching direction and request the endpoint again, repeating until you reach the expected player count from the first request. If something is wrong, feel free to note it.
Now 2 questions: First, the biggest difference is request amount, I aim for 5k+, you just do a flat 1000? Is there any difference in regards to made-up time, like are eight 1k requests responded to faster than one 8k request. The second question, stemming from the first, since you fetch only 1k per request, doesn't the api start spitting HTTP 502, because when I was working on it, I remember having to mediate that issue, with using obfuscating user-agents.
