When they refer to that, they mean the large variety of vehicles in game that have some historical basis (which a large amount do)

btw, this is also why i want selected matchmaker, Blitz has around 300 players in queue each second, of them all tiers of idk what, make them sorted in 40%-45% 45%-50% 50%-55% and 55%-60% then 60%-100% so you actually get a long time reward for being a rather good player, you get matched up against equal good players instead of having 70% chance that your team is all 40-50% (maybe except you), and the enemy has platoon of 60+% unicums, it happens all the time and its really rrreally annoying

i would say, that's pretty fair and makes the game way more fun to play (= more profit if wargaming likes)

Like i know that game dev company's want to make money, but make the game fun as well, it genuinly builds more interest

Random battles is random battles and should stay as such. It's supposed to be a casual mode where you can get into battles quickly. I really think players in general take random battles too seriously and try to make it too competitive.

Yes, it can be frustrating at times with the clueless teams that you get. However, you naturally would be more inclined to remember those mediocre teammates and not the other times you have had good games where you got to farm clueless enemies. Farming such players and having those good games is where the fun lies. The random battle experience in the matchmaker you propose would get worse the higher you go winrate wise. 60%+ players would be subjected to every random battle game being a sweaty, try-hard fest because from what you propose, they would only find teams of those competent players. Not every player wants that, and it goes against the purpose of random battles which is to be a more casual mode. Having good games and games where you can farm damage become more difficult, and for some players that means it becomes less fun.

Also, issues with queue times arise. Whilst you and I on the EU server would be in a better position, the NA and ASIA servers would not. They already struggle with queue times as is. 60%+ players would be in the queue forever.

If you want more competitive and coordinated gameplay, you have tournaments and ranked. Albeit, ranked has its issues. I would prefer if Wargaming worked on making ratings a more viable competitive gamemode to satisfy those who want more competitive play rather than making random battles more competitive.

Well that's what people get for wanting more rules in matchmaker and suggesting ranked gaming / matchmaking.

You have the benefit of playing on a relatively large server.

And literally any online multi player game has the same issues in terms of player experience, skill, motivation, attention span, ...

I am trial-ing a different game, and the differences in skill levels are ginormous, despite ranking, leveling, etc and a huge player base.

Games are a passtime, you win, you lose ... treat it as such.

But be ready to face the harsh reality of uncoordinated team effort in many battles, where some people default to what they want to do ... based on whatever notion ... and as soon as a team is one tank or two tanks down ... blowout battles happen.

And as a final note, even the best player teams get blowout wins and losses. Just look at the blitz cup and related events, within one's own server and then between various servers.

Where everybody is a > 60% player in each seat at the table.

So the idea of having more rules, ranked playing, ... for what? Steamrolls will still happen, whether 3v3 4v4 5v5 15v15 ... in WOTB or whichever game.

And queue times are pretty bad at times for certain tanks and/or platoons on smaller servers.

Random battles are solo. It's not a tournament for players to listen to you as if you're a field commander

What’s the difference between HE and AP shells

HE shells explode on anything on impact, when impacting a tank will explode and deal splash damage, in the armor highlight from sniper mode yellow means splash, red means no splash with no damage and gray means penetration.
When you penetrate armor with HE you deal massive damage, more then AP or APCR, works better with guns with a gun caliber size bigger then 15cm
HE shells cannot fly through random objects on the map like boxes or sheds, they will explode on such objects.
HE also has a explosion radius of 1 meter (I think), but dont rely on damaging other enemies with the splash radius.
Splash damage can damge/break modules without penetration but may not be worth trying.

You have to set the camera output first for the pitch and yaw. It just put P for pitch and Y for yaw. Also if you want to limit the traverse or pitch then you have to use a clamp. So for example for the pitch input if I want my turret to aim up 25° and down °10 it would be clamp(P, -25, 10) for the input

And if I want the turret to only rotate 90° then it's clamp(Y, -90, 90)

Put your reticle in the enemy and hit attack key/button. It's very easy for PC players while mobile needs to hold onto that person and opent the popup

I had over that amount of games when I figured it out. I do it now out of habit

It's great for focus firing allowing even matched teams to pick off specific targets. Also, it shows up for players who have battle chat disabled.

One thing that annoys me is that there's no option for PC players to select a map grid location for encounter battles. Mobile players can just tap on the section of the map. Well for PC, you can't click on the map nor are there buttons for the map sections.

For mobile, you cannot have Name & map availble if you are playing from a phone. I'm not sure if they changed it for iPad Pro.
