Wounded commander reduces all stats until you heal him. (Your tank is getting slower, too.)

Well, you don‘t really know where you must set up your artillery, and you don‘t really want to indiscriminately shell an area, but if you happen to be in the area you can quickly deploy and fire a relatively accurate barrage

I believe that artillery would be quite potent in counter insurgency operations if tactically well-placed

Though it mostly depends on how well you can anticipate enemy attacks or movements

Those battles usually drag on for hours without any support or resupply coming in

Emplaced (heavy) artillery usually would be in an easy to supply location with dedicated resupply lines, much like an airport (that resupplies its strike craft)

true but with no clear frontline/a very fast moving one, you can't just set up your artillery anywhere you please. I feel like the battles in the middle east are usually had between very mobile troops. Although true, grenade supply would be somewhat of a problem, one box of 81s in Finland has 21 shells I think, and you can cause quite a lot of destruction with that only. But yet here we have why air strikes are preferred more in the middle east, it's just easier than having to carry all this equipment around

I know you just went to sleep, but I think artillery becomes more and more economical the greater your authorized strength is, even in modern warfare.

If you have a lot of men, and a lot of guns, you can set up a firebase on every stinkin hilltop in an area; and have inexpensive, on demand firepower with much longer "loiter time" than air power can deliver.

Artillery is only cumbersome and expensive when you have to continually shuttle it from hilltop to hilltop, especially in mountainous terrain

It’s only been happening since yesterday but ok I’ll give it a try.
What’s odd about it is that after the update all my settings defaulted to maximum but the game wouldn’t say it’s unstable and had poor connection when running at below 20 frames with 130 ping but now i set it between mid and low it says it’s unstable and to lower them but it gets 59fps average and has 40 ping plus it constantly crashes now.

if you used to play on windows, then I'm sure your account was linked one way or another, either through a WG account or Steam. You can just log into that account through your macbook's wotb client and it should sync. Your player data isn't really saved locally, so importing game files from iOS to a mac doesn't do anything
