basically WG has been gaslighting and lying to players and CCs, as well as using illegal practices to sell loot boxes. they finally crossed a line when an employee started publicly getting toxic with one of the CCs, which has caused all their top CCs to drop from the program today.

man says fix mm like thats something very easy, if its skill based MM than 60% will only face 60%, so thats half and hour que time for them. For everyone else its 10 sec at most. Even if that dose happen though how much will it change battles. If you want less bad players, how are you gonna do that? Just make it so anyone under 45% can no longer play the game?

Like there is no easy fix for mm, so WG already has the best then can really do in place, Random. Because there isn't much else they can really do.

the best way to have less bad players to to educate them, but not all of them will want to be god tier players. Ofc if WG could make a better tutorial, (hopefully with community input) or some sort of readable lessons in the game, what I mean by that is, readable guides are available in a menu section similar to the news section, where players can read up on certain skills, like sidescraping, hull down, map awareness etc

In my opinion, the best way is to fix MM: Bad players get bad teams and fight against other bad teams, good players get good teams and fight against good ones.
Nowadays, unfortunately, good players are rare, bad players, however, can be found in every single game.
If WOTB could get a new MM system, like: every player has his own WN8 -
If a player has f. ex.1300 WN8, then his teammates will have 1300 +/- 100 WN8 and the player will fight against other players with around the same WN8.
In my opinion a possible solution. Better tutorials can help, too, but... Imagine a 10 y/o playing Blitz for the first time. He wouldn't really care about mechanics and all - he just wants to have fun.

A WN8 based mm isn't a good idea. It would be a complex system, which can be exploitable (what if you get afk on purpose just to get low ladders, then fighting more noobs and grind medals?) and would make the queue time insane.

firstly, the requires more players, and also, WN8 isn’t exactly the best way to compare players, a player might perform better in the last 30d in regards of WN8 compared to career, or even vice versa

plus, it would make matches more stagnant, high skill games would be almost boring, people wouldn’t peek, and slight mistakes would be punished severely, mistakes that wouldn’t be as punishable in complete random MM as much

1- Newbie matchmaker: in the first 5000 battles, the player have high chances to play in a matchmaker where there will appear only;

• Another newbies;
• Bots (and actually the wotb bots aren't as idiot as many noobs);
• Players with career WR bellow 30%.

2- "idiotic player" matchmaker: players with bellow 30% WR have high chances to play among other players in the same situation or play with new players.

3- "Honeymoon": basically, it makes a tank play and be only top tier for the first few battles. This perk was discontinued temporarily due to server problems.

4- Equality: every 31% until every 80% players face the same matchmaker with exactly same rules. The difference between them is that one can adapt itself, and other can't do it, instead he prefers to blame his lost battles (with a ton of mistakes) all in matchmaker.

Matchmaker is more a scapegoat for idiots than an actual matchmaker system.

There's also the rules among tank types and how the matchmaker behaves with this. But it'll take too long to write about.

Actually no, let's understand why:
AP is the major ammo of most of tanks. When talking about shells, the best load out is usually filled with like 3/5 only with AP.
APCR is important too, but you rarely will see a tank that will be totally red for you. Get as much as you think you'll be using. I usually put around 8-15.
HE is situational, the penetration is too low to be effective most of times, but can work well against a light tank. try to put a small number of it, only in case you see a light tank with too low armor.

Usually my loadouts look like this, unless I'm playing with derp or low caliber cannons

Its not only about ideas. You need experience in the gaming industry already (very few if not none big company will recruit individuals without experience in the industry)

As someone who do really plan to work in the gaming industry in a way or another, I found out that even smaller companies can require 3 years of experience if not more. And you also need to have technical skills to truly assess the potential of your ideas. In the end working in gaming is the same as about any other profession. You can come up with ideas like everyone but you will only get through if you can back that idea up

Obj 260, decently nice mobility not the best but not the worst averaging around 43-50.. ✅ the gun is very reliable, the dispersion is great the aim time isn’t too bad either and hits mostly everything perfectly fine.. ✅ turret armor is perfectly fine it’s nice and balanced since it can get penetrated without loading the gold but can also be penetrated a little bit easier with gold shells, tank destroyers will struggle to penetrate the turret IF they don’t aim properly. The hull armor side wise is nice it can side scrap decently but definitely has weaknesses. Now the main problem with the tank is it’s frontal upper plates, only effective when hull down IF the enemy isn’t loading gold shells, any good players don’t just sit still in front of a target anyways. The frontal upper plates of the obj 260 are so weak that most players I’ve come across after playing 300 games in the tank averaging 3000 damage career and 64% win rate, most of the enemy will shot at the upper plates even though the lower plate is enormous it is being ignored literally. My concern is that the tank needs the upper plate buffed by 10mm since it will bounce regular shells but will easily be penetrated by gold shells, but won’t be penetrated hull down which should be logical. The tank in its current state is a parallel of the 8.1 fv215b, in other words a "heavium" or "medium killer" now this is a true statement since the obj 260 has the hit points to deal with medium tanks with high damage per minute but when the matchmaking in regular battles only has two or even one heavy tank and three tank destroyers and one or two medium on each teams, it gets more complicated especially if the enemy team has a higher amount of heavy tanks resulting mostly on a loss even if the obj 260 hunts down the medium tanks. The tank just cannot hold a flank by itself or even with two other tanks as support since it’s frontal armor is inexistant therefor loses the side and the rest of the battle ends poorly.

Having this extra 10mm of upper plate armor will help the tank in these sorts of situations but will still balanced since it’s lower plate is enormous and easily penetrable.. this tiny change will definitely make the tank more comfortable and enjoyable to play instead of stressing out to be penetrated all the time and not being able to poke out to fight.. in its current state the tank is definitely a support tank unable to make a push in decisive moments because of the frontal armor profile not being able to hold on, or your team won’t move or just lose too much hit points and only you can change the outcome of the battle but is unable to make a difference except sacrificing hit points to make your teammates push with you but won’t work since you already lost quite a chunk of hit points..

@flat pecan please take time to review this opinion, currently the only player who actually plays the obj 260 consistently on the NA Server and therefor have a right judgment on the tank and it’s performance. Before anybody says "you are bad at the game" "stop playing the tank" etc.. please refrain from saying this and be mature about this subject thanks

That game i queued for was on mines, after queuing for 6 minutes. 3 of my team mates were afk including my platoon guy. So when I requested help in the town because everyone goes there (in my games) no one came and the 3 non afk guys were all camping on the hill shooting a single tank. So i was left to fight against an tiger 1 and an is3 I couldn’t pen.

I might not be amazing at blitz but jesus christ the mm gives me some stupid people. Just had a game where we had no heavies in a t6-7 lobby and not one of my team mates went to the cap circle. (On the lumber mill map) so 4-5 of the enemy tanks were just sat in the circle. Only one of my team mates tried to stop the cap with me but we both got destroyed.

I know this is a different game but how do we know the folks doing Blitz don't do the same sort of underhand tactics?
It may look like this is WG bashing which is ironic as I get accussed of being a WG shill or employee because I've said there's no proof of MM/RNG rigging 🙂 but I think people need to know what the company is like and hopefully it will make some think twice before gambling on crates which is something that should not be allowed in a 12+ game!

It is not beginner friendly, you need to use the right positions to be able not to be shot at and be able to shot other targets without being the main enemy target. It is a fast tank so you will definitely get to the positions you want to but I do not recommend being a front line tank since you have no frontal armor except for your turret but you shouldn’t rely on it too much unless you know how to play well, rocking the tank back and forth. You can reverse side scrape and bounce but don’t over angle it, and be careful because good players will shoot you in the turret if you reverse side scrape. You do have a nice gun with good alpha, if anybody does decide to buy the tank if it comes out again, just play passive and support your team since you have a fast reload ( 8.4 with gun rammer, 420 alpha). I would recommend being hull down as much as possible to bounce most of the shots while rocking back and forth to make it harder to penetrate the weak spots in the turret.

Aces are usually determined by your end game xp in comparison to other players; your dmg is great, your kills are great, but I see that you also have the sniper medal, meaning that you were not spotting your own dmg since you were so far away from the enemy for likely a majority of the battle. When you spot tanks and do dmg to them you get lots of xp for it. Anybody else feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.

In addition to that usually for aces at t10 I see that 1500+ base xp is the req (with exceptions)
