The tier 6 is a copy of the t34-85. I would say it just needs a little bit more definition between it and the t34-85. If that means a buff fine, but I would want to see how it is performing

Gun dp on tier 8 is the same as on the tier 10, 5 degrees but I think the tier 8 needs like 200 more dpm or maybe even more and a bit better mobility

Keep in mind tho that the avg speed doesn’t necessarily mean that is how fast it actually goes. Speed and maneuverability are two different things as well. I would prefer maneuverability on a medium because then it fits it’s role better

Personally from my experience (idk how it is in eu) alpha is king. If I were to sacrifice 500 dpm for more alpha (say 100 more) I would take that 9 times out of 10

i go for 400 alpha because 280 doesnt really work out. Tank still struggles against broken tanks in tier 8 though

400 alpha at t8 is at least something, as st4rs said most meds have to deal with the generic 225.
the HEAT pen and the aim time gimmick are nice little aspects as well

Maybe the heat is better but the standard pen is lower and since I am a F2P I am kinda struggling with credits and shooting a lot of HEAT doesnt really help with that

try out the 280 gun then, it's not bad.
I will say the line doesn't seem very credit-friendly, you are going to have to use prammo and the gun handling across the whole line isn't good so that's a lot of wasted shots

I am probably playing the tanks poorly cuz I have been mostly grinding heavies until I saw they are getting nerfed next update so I started playing with meds and I know I am not good with them but I still its underperforming compared to lets say Panther II

Comparing it to Panther II it has lower pen, worse DPM, worse armor, worse accuracy, less gun dp and so on

the heavy nerf isn't major, they are still going to be meta and only t10 tanks were nerfed.

That's not really a good comparison, completely different tanks. 34-2 is meant to be played with the 122 in an ambush role where it relies on the low profile and alpha, Panther II is more of a passive farming med

again, if the alpha-centric playstyle doesn't suit you, you can always switch over to another line.

I tried the 400 gun 3 different times and it never clicked. ended up using the 280 gun to get it to 2k avg and then sold it asap.
@tired anchor you need to buy everything else on the upper part (the 6 surrounding rewards) before you get the tank
