From personal experience, here’s what you should expect for each one before getting the 183:

-Alecto: Paper Armor. Stay away from the front line or you’ll get HE’d hard, but your gun can still punch hard. Has the best maneuverability

-AT 2: Thick armor for its tier, fast-reloading gun, small cupola. Effective at frontlining as a bunker as long as you don’t get flanked, since you’re always slow and hull traverse is slower from here on. Get flanked at any tier on this line and you’re done for

-AT 8: More HP and still reasonably armored, slower reload for slightly better penetration and damage. Your cupola is now a penetrable top hat, so wiggling is key

-AT 7: Same firepower as AT 8 except your main gun is on the right side of the hull. If you’re feeling extra-cheeky, equip the tier 5 autoloader for a 10-shell clip at approximately 1000 bursting AP damage for the whole clip if you penetrate all 10 shells, but know that you stand NO CHANCE against most tier 8 heavy tanks. Your armor can now be pierced by numerous guns with APCR/HEAT, and some guns with basic AP on most guns of 120-130 mm,so wiggling is crucial

AT 15: The cupola is now back to being perspectively small like the AT 2 and your top gun can reload super-fast with reliable penetration and damage, allowing you to facehug certain heavy tanks such as the 252U and the VK 168.01 and penetrate basically every time if you can find their weak spots in the front. You can close the gap between you and your opponent if you face them head-on and keep pressuring them with constant fire, forcing them to either face you or retreat. The front armor is still considerable, but still has its fair share of weaknesses against high-caliber guns

-Tortoise: It’s top gun can penetrate most flat lower plating tier-for-tier, while the stock can still rapid-fire like the AT 15. Armor in the front is sometimes effective for bouncing shots, but now you have two cupolas and you can still get nuked through the front by the 183 mm L4

As for the FV215b 183, the playstyle is completely different:

-You have armor that rivals that of cardboard, but not quite paper, since proper angling can still save you from getting nuked with 152+ millimeter HE(SH), and your tracks can sometimes save you from getting hit
-Your 183 millimeter L4 has just enough dispersion and reload to annoy anyone that’s played with the KV-2 a lot, while you’re limited to 45 degrees of turret traverse in either direction
-Camouflage also sucks since your hull is the size of the original Conquerer concept
-You’re still stuck with molasses-speed hull traverse and super-slow movement speed
-The only real selling point of this one is that it boasts the only 183 millimeter cannon in the game with an alpha of 930 AP, and 1300 HE. It’s HESH has greater penetration than it’s HE while still boasting the same powerful HE alpha. If you’re accurate and lucky, this thing can easily cripple most targets while delivering a devastating impact. Some accurate shots also have the chance to ammo-rack if you’re using AP, but a penetrating HE shot can destroy most lights and TDs from full health if it also starts a fire

Overall, the 183 has a legendary alpha, and mediocre (if not already bad) everything else

So although the camo rating is horrible, it doesn't need to lose any when it has to move the gun too often

The mobility is also not that bad

personally, ive got no problems wearing a mask. its a little piece of fabric that goes over the face, just like a tshirt or other pieces of clothing. it's only a bit inconvenient when trying to eat, or if its fogging my glasses. in some ways, i actually prefer wearing a mask, because i don't have to fake smile when in public and stuff

but, ill be happy to not feel obligated to wear it
