The 252u might surprise you. If you just hide the triangle you're immune to almost every tank with average pen in T8. Sure, TDs still load gold and pen wherever they can, but they actually have to try if you hide the triangle

All (or most) of the russian pike noses have really strong side armor. you can put the armor at a 45 degree angle and they cant pen. However, its a shame that they combined that with the pike nose, it makes sidescraping impossible. Only reverse sidescrape works in these, and you are quite indestructible with these tanks in reverse sidescr. It is a bit difficult to not show your back which is easy to pen, but angling your armor at 45 degrees should help as your sides are extremely strong.

If anything, they might do Modern Armor Blitz either as a standard update or something on the level of 5.5 (or I think it was 5.5) where they modify the research tech trees again. Or if they really wanted to, they could do a standalone game

VF-31 did some 1v1 work against the F-22 before they transitioned. It wasn't a fair fight but it was a big surprise to the F-22's that they could be tracked BVR by the F-22. The F-14 had the IRST pod and could pick up the heat signature, once they had that they could brute force detect them with the brutally powerful apg-71 radar.

They couldn't dogfight the F-22 much at all but they could detect them at range and that was a surprise to all involved parties.

Yikes, Its also Cool to think that the F-22 is a few decades old when its still feared by Chinese and Russian Pilots

That's one of the reasons you see these new IRST pods being put in pods on existing fighters.

It really says something that a system that was built into the Tomcat in the early 1990's is now being grafted onto modern fighters in a modified fuel tank.

Basically the Navy / congress really screwed up the budget in the late 80's and the 1990's. That how we got the Super Hornet.

In the 80's money was no issue. The Navy was going to get the A-12 to replace the A-6 and the Naval F-22 to replace the F-14. Decisions were made to make sure that new F-14's and A-6's were not to be built because they wanted to make sure we had to buy the successors. When the successors were cancelled the Navy was in a bad place. The existing Tomcats were getting old and the Intruders were even older. Both planes needed to be replaced. The decision was made to retire the Intruder and to have the Tomcat take on the long range strike roll. The Super Hornet was billed as evolution of the Hornet (not a new plane, even though it is) and a cost effective way of replacing the Intruder and the Tomcat. It wasn't as good as either but it was able to kinda do the job of both.

The Navy has done phenomenal work with the Super Hornet but in essence it was the best of what's left...

If you climb to 35k feet and go full burner to mach 2 when u see the drones via the labels point the w that's on the hud down or infront of the drone then fire. The missile will be unguided until it's 10nm away from the drone. And if it's lined up correctly then the seeker head will still be able to pick up the drone and it will start tracking. Fastest my missile hit was mach 2

Both the Aim-120B and PL-12 in game have an absolute max range of 25nm if the target doesn't move and is flying towards you. Aim-120C has a absolute max range of 35nm under the same conditions. It could travel longer but the missile blows up after that
