you should look into actually owning an octopus...they are both fascinating to watch and study through feeding and also easy to maintain as well..they just require mildly salty water...they are saltwater animals sure..but they live at depths where the saltiness is at a minimum...when they are found in shallow waters like near reefs on low tides close to shore they will stay in their burrows and rarely come out due to the tide..at night they come out since waters are generally calmer and therefore the saltiness drops too..
