Against tanks the Pak 40 was better. It was a dedicated anti-tank weapon. Only the Sherman Jumbo, IS tanks etc. gave it problems. Punching through armor was what it lived for.

Against each other I'd bet on the ZIS 3. It was a divisional artillery gun that could also be used against tanks. The Tiger 1 and other heavily armored tanks gave it problems but troops in open terrain were easy for the ZIS 3's. I could see them lobbing HE just everywhere in that scene.

the most complicated anti tank gun sound ive done....its really weird in the sound department....historically it was of older design as a result its velocity isnt the best even if 75mm, to make things more interesting...it has a muzzlebreak that expels gasses from virtually all sides giving it a bizzare hiss soujd up close and then the type of slow burning powder the shells it uses to fire making it more akeen to an actuall black powder cannon 😓 @somber quarry this was one sound that made me tired to make, the reloading for this gun is manual...the round is pulled out manually, the round inserted manually the lever pulled down to secure it in the breech

That's sadly a flaw on the animation side of things and had I made it slower the gun would fire without giving the lock signal ( that the shell is inserted correct in the breach

Because they would fire already and then the katunk sound (breach closed) would be heard...that's obviously impossible...the gun can't fire with the breach fully closed

For me the styling of the chassis is incredible. It’s a design that challenged most car language at the time, and if you look at the concept car versus production it looks VERY similar whereas most cars get so many revamps it’s not the same promised car… example, look up what the current Toyota Supra’s concept car was compared to what we got

Then at the time Audi was experimenting a ton with the “space frame” aluminum to keep it lightweight

The 1.8T engines are super common for parts like Honda’s K series but are factory turbocharged so parts and turbos are quite easy to find unless you go big turbo and wanna change things then it gets tight in the engine bay… but bulletproof engines and transmissions

Also uses the legendary VR6 with the first generation DSG transmission so it sounds heavenly if you go V6 and bring an automatic is actually quite good as opposed to many cars with “our autos suck so you need a manual to enjoy our car” mentality like many automatic based cars were

HALDEX “Quattro”… yes it’s not torsen so it’s not true Quattro nor the best, but you can apply a halted co troller to maintain a permanent 50/50 split front and rear… and being an older car that doesn’t have a million computers, it’s easy to tune that out (1/2)

If I don’t get a bodykit then do the 3.2 TT’s front bumper and get a front mount intercooler

We need real night time maps....like I mean real...a map that in particular has a very small village but lots of trees surrounding the village and bushes but at night

Think winter kalinovka but more trees and at night

Also the only real light would be the in game moon and hopefully for the first time tanks can have headlights working

Probably would be the only map where games aren't going blazing fast and noobs get away with being noob

I see a lot of potential for sneaky flanks and ambushes which is cool and if this is an issue go with a buddy if you are heavy and for medium side work with tds
