I'm split between going with weighted Z-scores which will inherently be an arbitrary value like wn8 (of course still with the scale symmetry which itself struggles due to no skew normal compensation) or a sound relative winrate predictor which is just plain boring lol.

I declared wss dead because I started to gain hope in a relative wr score but now and leaning back towards wss. Wss is fantastic but I guess some people may find negative numbers hard to accept. Negative = hurts chances or winning and positive = helps chances; it's very mathematicaly sound but the blitz community may not be.
