Bro on my reroll account (completely f2p) I got pretty lucky with the free box they give you during the Christmas event and got a snowglobe and got the wz 114 or whatever it’s called. Then I sold it for an awesome draw and got the tl7 arachnid thing or whatever it’s called. Then I sold that and gambled and got a t22. Then I sold that and got a strv k by gambling. To be clear I’m not arguing with you. The balancing of the game has been in a downhill slope since the 3.# updates and there has been a noticeable decline in the quality of the players.

Personally I blame 3.8 and the removal of +2/-2 mm as the starting point of the decline.

i totally see where you're coming from, not viewing this as an argument don't worry. +/-2 can be seen as a part of it for sure, i agree there (although i don't miss that MM, i hated it myself lol)

i still think the main problem is how quickly low tier players can progress into higher tiers without learning any tank knowledge or skills. it's like the classic example of throwing someone in the water and expecting them to swim - except this time they're also pulling their 6 teammates under the water as well

it's quite unfortunate that the desire for a quick cashgrab outweighs the idea of building a strong playerbase (which could imaginably help create loyal long-term customers), but i suppose at the end of the day you are right that the business case isn't as strong when the alternative pays quicker

just looking back at my own experience, i reached about 6000 battles before i got my first tier 10 in 2015. it wasn't exactly something i rushed for, but either way it's still mind-boggling to think how much the speed of progression has changed over time

+2/-2 was a brutal introduction to the game and I’m sure that it drove away a number of new players. As a business I can see why WG removed it.

But… the players who survived the crucible of +2/-2 were some of the best players the game had seen. They learned to play in the worst of circumstances and if they didn’t quit they were better for it.

The overall play quality of the game has suffered greatly as those players have moved on.

Progetto line isnt that hard to grind same with the russian mediums and e50m has a fairly easy line to grind too and Tank destroyer wise both german lines are probably the easiest
