I’d like to see the finished product, however I will say I do love the balance you’ve got of cartoon and realism this that image, it looks real yet simultaneously drawn, I like that a lot.

It seems real but I can see it’s not and I like that balance.

The water is perfectly reflective as is water in life when it’s completely still and the terrain is the drawn bit, it’s like you’ve superimposed reality in a drawing with 1 being real and the other not.

The range at which your tank will spot an enemy. If there’s something in the way, then you don’t see the enemy.

So on each tank there are "view ports" and when a tank crosses a view port and they are within your view range they will be spotted. Now some tanks like lights won't be spotted till they are closer because of their camo. So for u to spot a tank it has to be in view range and in the line of sight of one of the view ports. So you can't sit behind a rock and spot a tank from 250m. Now i believe if two tanks are 50m or less doesn't matter what obstacle their is you will both spot each other which is proxy spotting

That’s literally the only complaints I’ve ever seen. And as you mentioned, the HP bars issue is fixed in BDSP

Also, I kinda like the difficulty in D/P. I’m a fully casual pokemon player, and it’s the perfect level of difficulty. I literally just catch Pokémon I think are cool, and I don’t care about the synergy of my move sets or anything. The new games are just way too easy, especially with the XP share that gives all of your Pokémon XP. I have to go out of my way to make sure I’m not overleveled now to have any fun

Theres a long list of bug in D/P that im not gonna mention but some of the ones i remember is theres a bunch of spots where u can get stuck on. And no its not gym typing its more like for the Bsdp the ice gym puzzle is made for NDS 4 direction movement but they didnt bother changing it for switch so the puzzle became pointless

But the point is that, at least for me, filthy casual Pokémon player, all of the fundamentals of a great Pokémon game are in D/P

All of the designs they added in Gen IV are pretty much my all time favorites, the difficulty of the game was perfect without needing to play multiplayer, the map was cool/interesting, and the soundtrack is also fantastic

I will say that the fact that Ponyta/Rapidash being the only fire type you could catch was an issue, but that’s also fixed in BDSP

Nah, honestly, I didn’t like most of the designs after Gen IV. When the graphics got better, the designs got too overemgineered. Gen IV and below, with the DS graphics, forced them to come up with simple, yet lovable designs, instead of trying to rely on intricacy

New players complained about long grinds, too strong opponents, seal clubbers, ... They fix the new player experience with a better tutorial, gradually bigger teams, introduction of a few live players on one team, and later the enemy team ...

If you struggle to win against the simple bots in game, now that you reached tier 4 ( as per your matchmaking complaint yesterday ) then maybe wotb is not for you.
