You seem to not realise. Most people in Russia live much closer to EU server, than APAC that is located much farther south in southern asia. Yes, there definetely are some russians living closer to the APAC server, which is why even APAC has russian speaking players, although significantly lesser than those on EU. For the last time a country's size doesnt matter. It's where the population live. Russia's 2 biggest cities, Moscow and St Petersburg are all close to the west of the country.

I mean, fail platooning doesn’t really deserve the stigma anymore.

Fail platooning is fine if you know what you’re getting into. The reason why we hated on it in the past is because your team was essentially a tank down. But now that matchmaker will always ensure an opposing fail toon, if you want the “challenge” that +2/-2 MM used to provide, it’s perfectly viable. One of my favorites is to fail toon a tier VIII light and a tier IX to try to get myself “scout MM”. It’s actually really fun

It’s my belief that winning is easier as a failtoon. Especially if you’re a low skill player.

1. It leaves the outcome more in the hands of your teammates rather than yourself. If you’re below 50% WR, odds are that your teammates will be better than you
2. You always get matched with another failtoon, which more likely than not, is probably not that good at the game either

Both of these factors play into easier wins. You as the low skill -2 may have more trouble dealing damage, but you’re still likely to increase your WR

I’m a big believer in the failtoon now, and I wish more people would do it on NA (so I can find matches when I try to do it)

It’s actually really refreshing. Try playing a tier 8 light in a tier X match. It lifts the burden of having to be the big damage dealer of your team, and allows you to feel more confident in just being the “team player”. Getting spots, being really annoying, and wasting the time of more important enemy tanks. And sometimes, when you’re dealing more damage than your tier X teammates, it’s a pretty nice feeling

The few times where there was an accidental fail toon, I absolutely hated it ... because either I couldn't be effective damaging the enemy and/or I had no chance of survival and doing what needed to be done for the win.

actually as far as i can tell, that isnt a scam. thats a genuine google forms link, and google forms doesnt allow for redirects, so personally i dont think its a scam. dude may be just sending that to random people in hopes someone actually fills it out for his class or whatever
