Why blitz

It's great. The turret armour is really tough, comparable to the is3's but now u can hull down with it. Hull armor is very tough (the upper plate). Nice gun, 5.5s with 225dmg (you're not gonna peek out a lot cuz it's ur cupola). Bad sides would be crap Hull turn rate and turret turn rate and 215mm of standard pen. The cupola, atleast, for me is not much of a annoyance for me cuz the 5.5s of reload doesn't mean u gonna peek out all the time

This is a very weird take, chieftain/T95 is quite bad and the armor is poor for a heavy. The cupola is a huge issue because it means you cannot in fact rely on your turret armor like an IS-3 would. And the 5.5 seconds of reload means you're going to be peeking out more often than most other heavies

It's ok. That's what I thought too before I rebought it for the lols. But apparently I find myself playing seriously with it. Both the 215b and the chief t95 are bad for facehugs though...? Their ufps both rely on thier angle to be half strong and so in a facehug you can suddenly shoot right down on it negating most of the angle. And the chief T95s cupola is an easy hit no matter what you do

Duel the enemy med. you don’t really have a choice.

Try to spot him early using the camo advantage on the BC, and hopefully, he won’t even be on the “med” side. I typically find most players would rather lemming train rather than take map control, so there’s a good shot you take the side without a fight.

If you do have to fight him, then look for a large rock or building that you can circle around while you reload. And if he has help, and you don’t then you’ll have no choice but to run and try to YOLO push the other side with your team before the enemy puts your team in a crossfire

If you want a tank that blasts other tanks, try to get SU-152 in the tank destroyer line. Don’t confuse it with SU-100M1 which has a lower damage gun
KV-2 also works but it lacks penetration numbers to reliably penetrate tier 6 and 7 heavies

Try checking some guides though just to check some more choices in the ussr tech tree

IS and KV-3 has a 122 mm gun that can deal 400 / 340 damage, but it also struggles to penetrate tier 8 tanks which, I am saying, tier 8s have a lot of armor. You can use their 100 mm gun for a faster playstyle with more penetration numbers

the stb certainly isn't a meta tank anymore, but while it lacks in raw stats, the 10 degrees of gun deprssion and solid turret armour allow it to effectively use its dpm very well

Once you get the stb play it, the paper stats of a tank aren’t always what you see. The Stb is still a good medium that is up there with the others and you completely down play it without ever touching it

that would be the case last time, but the dpm + armour buffs the M48/60 have received basically made them superior majority of the time

Again a raw number on paper never equates to real scenarios. The m48 and m60 are very easy to pen in the turret meanwhile gold against the stb is still very difficult, 300 more spm is 1 shot of damage so unless you are firing consistently the difference is negligible. The stb is still very good but that’s just my experience from playing if you don’t know how to play or aim then it won’t be the tank for you but that is every med and light so don’t compare them if you can’t play them is my only suggestion

oh I don't have the pattons, but I do have the stb. It's one of my favourite tier 10s, and I trust I do know how to play the tank well enough. I've had my fair share of fighting against pattons pre and post buff and I can say confidently that the buffs really made them stronger. No, it’s garbage. I’ve played 8 games in it, every single one it’s bottom tier. It’s got double HEAT for standard ammo and premium, plus HE. It can’t pen most tier 6s and obviously none of the ammo can penetrate through walls, crates etc so of you encounter the enemy behind anything like that you can’t shoot them. I know it’s free. Best thing you can do with it, sell it and get 250 gold. Gargoyle is a miles better 105mm gun tank.

Yes, the turret is fairly decent and gets some bounces, and I’ll agree the shell speed is good. Biggest draw back so far is I’ve played 10 games in it and every single one I was bottom tier. Pretty much every one ended up against the remaining enemy heavy tanks which are either ARLs or Ju Nus at the moment, nigh on impossible to pen except from pretty much 90 degrees side on or the rear.
Fortunately I’m experimenting with it using my RU account so I don’t care about the stats. I’m going to keep playing it to see if it gets any top tier games and see if I get better with practice. It’s not an easy tank to win in if it’s constantly bottom tier 🤷‍♂️

You don't really wanna tank much, but it is quite nice when you do get rushed by some med, and you can hesh the side and rear when you get to, also in 9.1 conq and 215b will get 170mm of HE pen so.... yeah

also u can side scrape to a degree, but dont recommend front tanking much since it doesnt feel like it can hold its place

yeah, imo the only time where the reactive armor is useful is when, say you are a 1 shot to a 460 damage tank (430 hp or something), you can turn on the reactive armor and win the brawl

you can ridge fight, but the turret is just so weak there really isn't much of a point, like anything with 120mm can pen i think
