Tips about the ru 251? I grinded the sp1c and the first 40-50 games were hell, but now I can drive it, got 3 masteries just today. Is the Ru the same kind of playstyle?

I loved it, has insane mobility (way better than SP I C) great DPM, but 0 armor. The secret weapon lies with the HE shells, which have abnormally high penetration (relative to the AP), at the cost of less extreme damage. This means that when playing against mediums and lights, you deal 270 dmg every 4.9 seconds, which is just awesome.

It's loads of fun, even if playing it with the stock engine and 75% crew is kinda painful. Trust me though, it's worth it.

The top speeds (forward and reverse) cripple the t57s mobility. It can almost instantly hit them, but it's an instant barrier

The terrain resistance values (as seen on blitzstars) also have a large impact on how effective the power to weight is.

The traverse speed also can make a tank feel like a slug, as it makes it lose a ton of speed when it tries to turn if its bad

It seems that some people don't understand that being able to hold back multiple tanks alone makes it easy for your team to win.

Also, because of its durability the maus can club every other tier 10. It just takes a bit longer to kill enemies, but the maus wont be the tank that dies.

Playing for the win doesn't mean farming. Its actually doing meaningful things to help your team win. If you have a well played meatshield, it will keep your allied guns in the game, resulting in a win

The armor on it is completely unreliable. The turret can bounce standard (the hull cannot) but the turret gets buttered by prammo.

Avoid getting shot in it. Going hull down makes you a smaller target, and being a smaller target is always better than not. Just don't sit in front of enemies

Gotcha. So as an example of what to do with it say I'm on a map like falls creek. Instead of going head on at the bridge go off on the path to the side (either next to the house or to the boulder & hill)

Depends on what you're using them for. Sniping TDs do better on maps like the ones ChickenMan said, big maps where they're plenty of room to snipe. More offensive but lightly armored TDs do better on open maps with interspersed cover (Think Skorp G/SU-130PM on Vineyards, Normandy, or New Bay). And then there's heavily armored TDs that can usually tank along side the heavys/mediums. The Ho Ri, Obj. 263, and T110E3 for example all are mobile enough to keep up with their medium/heavy counterparts, and are armored well enough to catch plenty of bounces if played smart. They excel on most maps, from Faust to Mines to Naval Frontier.

I see - you can play it like the t8. Just try peek a boom with the gun and tungsten, and you'll do ok. The hull armour is bad, just use the -8 to go hulldown and farm. Get equipment on it if you don't already (ofc) - the aim time ones will help with the bad handling.

imo it should have horrible reload for the last shot, like 15 seconds, but good dpm for the first shot, like 8.5 seconds and remove the intraclip counting

It’s in a good spot now.
Like the T95, Tog has always been a very situational tank because of its poor mobility.
Not too long ago, it got its mobility buffed as well as its armour. Now it’s less of a one trick and can actually work nicely
