E 50 is still a nice tank though, it just doesn't really fit in the line anymore which has been turned into an armoured medium linewhile the E 50 is more of a mobile heavy, i.e. it is more focused on bouncing than on dealing damage. It's still very good in that capacity, but it's difficult to get the movements right to bounce the maximum amount

the grille 15 line is not a noob friendly line, every mistake you make will hurt you alot more with non existant armor and gets fully penetrated with HE rounds which will take out a module at bare minimum

Maus has more potential because of the insane hp and armor so if you can get that into a sidescraping position you can fend off the enemy team while your mediums flank
Kranvagn is better for a support rather than frontline because of the low dpm (maus also has low dpm but the armor is worth trading) and the kranvagn doesn't have good enough hull armor
Choose maus for frontline, choose kran for support

Did I mention that the Mauschen is weak to straight shots against the side of its turret or hull from the 183’s HESH? Because it is. Either try to angle the turret or try to take the HESH round on the reinforced frontal plates

If the 183’s HESH penetrates through the thick armor, then that shell could take about 1/3 to 1/2 your hitpoints in one shot with the chance to injure multiple crewmen or damage the engine (with a decently high chance to start a fire)

Hard to say, maus for rating and tournaments, e100 for regular battles, cause maus has better armor and bigger HP it can hold the line, while e100 cant cause the turret is no more than heat magnet

Think about angling your hull to enhance your frontal armour where appropriate. Just be careful to not overdo it and expose your side too much

I've just unlock Patton M46 after Pershing. I was pleased with Pershing which is a good tank as med espcially in hulldown. I'm very disappointed by Patton M46 which on the contrary of Pershing is really an unbalanced tank. It's really a bad tank : no armor on turret when US tanks are however renown for their amored mantlet. Mobility average and gun which lacks of pen. This tank has to be buffed as it sucks, even against tier 8. So vs t9 and even more t10, this tank is poop duck. Clearly the worst and by far tier 9 i've in my garage

263 is outclassed by WZ-121, some people will argue that it's a medium tank and I shouldn't be comparing them but here's the straight facts.

263 looks good on paper but in practice needs everything to go right to do well.

Compared to 121, the 263 only gets more penetration and 40 more alpha.

121 gets a turret, better armor, super quick aim time, better camo, better view range, better mobility, and a tad bit more health.

263 and 268 are nothing alike but a tank already fills the position 263, attempts to do so.

I forgot to mention that 263 has an open cabin which is a big problem against tall tanks

make sure you wiggle, you can try angling around corners but the is not very effective, go with heavy tanks, don't forget the gun depression sucks, try and flank or take unusual positions if u can, don;t be too aggressive. the armor is very different from the T30, more like A medium tank you get lucky and bounce sometimes unlike T30 where you can go in to position and be almost invincible.

Autoreloader gives you much more advantage when it comes to trading(even/fair), sometimes you should just shoot one at a time until you can fully clipped your enemy out, and you can always save your last shell for a killing blow when needed if not you'll save up a really good DPM and burst potential.

With autoloader you need to clip all shells before reloading if your opponent knows your shell count(optionally you can trick your opponent that you still have a shell but playing it passively meaning you just wait him out even though you're reloading the clip) then he can take the advantage of it if the tides can be turned.

When will the Panzer IIJ not have to face Tier IV’s anymore? What I don’t get is why should the Panzer IIJ have to face a tier that has SEVERAL vehicles that have guns that are more than capable of penetrating its 80mm of armor? I don’t find this fair for those who have this tank. Be reminded, Wargaming, that this tank is to have fun and bounce shots in, which is really the only good attribute considering the fact that it’s gun is worthless against Tier IV’s for the most part unless you fire complete premium ammunition. I am saying this because you keep having this Tier III tank against Tier IV’s, of which probably about 75-80% of which can and will go through the front armor without gold ammunition. Think about this, Wargaming. Please. Older players from the start like me are getting fed up with this ignorance to this fact. Just saying.

This would result in a tank good for sidescraping as well as full on battle charges.

The tank doesn’t have the sort of one shot factor the KV-2 152mm has, though the 100y has a large caliber gun for its tier, so pulling off ammoracks isn’t uncommon in it.

It’s kind of like the SU-152 and the ISU. Sacrifices many aspects of the tank for the gun.

And yes the armour is mediocre, though you can pull off occasional bounces from low caliber guns.
And yes the camo isn’t good

@candid lark Nah, the ammo rack is less of a problem than people make it out to be if you run protective kit and defense system. Also, that's not where the ammo rack is

There's also ammo in the back of the turret, and on the hull sides, but those aren't an issue because

1. The back of the turret is almost never hit
2. The hull sides are protected by that auto-ricochet angled primary armor/spaced armor screen

Also, don't worry about those cylindrical ammo racks you see either. Those are too far away to be hit from the front (even by this fairly large 152mm gun)
