Should I be using the 100mm or the 122mm on the SU-100? The 122mm is fun, sure, but I seem to be getting more consistent results with the 100mm - and even then, the 100mm’s better reload and gun handling means that I can mount TD-specific equipment like calibrated shells and supercharge, whereas I’d have to to grab gun rammer and gun laying drive for the 122mm just to get decent handling for the thing

I recommend the 122 most of the time but if the 100 clicks with you there is no reason to change it up.

It has slightly more pen on standard and HE, but the main thing is the alpha as you said. I just think the 400 alpha suits the tank a lot better as an ambush td with a threatening amount of alpha. The 100 has better stats in most areas, but the gun still isn’t accurate enough or snipe, and it’s not crazy enough to just burn stuff down. In most cases, especially with the Su having downsides such as gun angles, low HP, and not much armor, I am willing to sacrifice some other stats just for the extra alpha.

Y tho. The hull of the 4202 is flat af, and highly angled. Cent AX hull is giant and an ez pen

Turrets are the same shape, so it's not gonna be any better turret wise. (Armor values can easily be adjusted on a 4202)

Mobility entirely depends on how they decide to balance the tank, so the cent realistically gains nothing there

The centAX gains nothing in comparison, and loses the best medium hull in tier 10. I don't understand why anyone would want an AX over a 4202

Blitz 4202 is the Cent AX but better. On PC, the only things that made the Cent AX better than 4202 were the increased speed and the HEAT ammunition, but the Blitz 4202 already has both of those, without the drawbacks of being bigger and squishier

The primary advantage of the Cent AX is that the Cent AX is super cool looking

I see JgPz as a sort of DPM machine, since it actually out-DPMs the 152/155mm TDs like 268, E3, 113g FT and E4. Coupled with already good pen, and 800 alpha, it can shred through heavy tanks like no other TD can if you can funnel them in front of the Jgpz.

This is kind of vehicle related, I guess? I just thought it would be the best to ask. I have been playing the game for quite a long time, with a few breaks, and have been having a lot of fun. I am a pretty bad player honestly, but that never bothered me as I am not really a competitive person. I heard that as you progress through the tiers, you will eventually make less credits and battle, and I heard that in tier X battles you will usually lose credits. But it happened sooner... recently I unlocked my first tier VIII, and although I like the tank, and its fun, I can barely break even, most of the time I even lose credits... The tank I am using is T-34-2. I am only using the basic consumables, and only when really needed, I do not use provisions ar anything like that at all, and I only care a few premium rounds that I rarely use. Yet I still lose money most of the time. Is that normal? Should I just stick to lower tiers or something? :/ I do not have premium account, and I have no premium tanks either.

Don't lose heart, for stock grind you might not be doing enough damage to cover repair costs. I too, don't use provisions, and use consumables and prammo only when I really need to. I started doing this with RU251 (Tier 8 too) because I had credit problems :laughing:

I trust that as you get better you will earn more credits / after you exit stock grind. For me even in tier X I earn some credits usually, unless I waste prammo / use consumables wastefully

Someone has shown me some chart with credit making coefficients and my tank was amongst the worst x.x I wiill probably manage, its just that I will need to play some low tier tanks too to make some credits. Till now I was just playing this one line. Aaand maybe I will have a premium tank in the end 😮 I am a pretty casual player, but I think I might be able to get the Matilda BP from the event in time.

This is one tip that I'd give for using it. If you are going to sidescrape initially angle your turret out so it's more perpendicular to your hull, but making sure you keep you turret side hidden. As you wiggle, you can then turn your hull and turret together to get your gun lined up, one quick snapshot and then keep your turret moving in that direction so you get back to a normal turret angle looking in about the same direction as your hull. If you do this right you are showing about 370mm on the first screenshot, a split second where it decreases to 300 when shooting and then 340 in the last screenshot, but you can drive closer to the cover at that time so you are harder to hit. I can send a replay of it if you want a better explanation but not rn @strange thicket

Sidescraping is basically the name of the game for the E 100

#

By the way, the bottom one is perfectly suitable against most tanks, especially if you drive a bit more into cover so your turret front isn’t shootable. The top one is a bit unorthodox but especially effective for peeking against high pen guns that refuse to just shoot you

^^ I found that it really struggled sidescraping normally as soon as people switched to prammo so I started using that method more. People don't expect it at all and get very trigger happy when they see it, and if you can snapshot well then by the time they react to you turning your turret to shoot you back, you have already fired and are into the normal sidescraping position

If you are going to go with the heavies then you need to stay back from the front line because as soon as more than one person starts focusing on you the armour falls apart really. You have enough hp and armour not not be forced into being passive, but you can't be overly agressive. If you run with the meds then you want to stay as close to them as possible because if you get singled out then you are screwed. From what I remember I tend to go with the meds but taking risky shortcuts so I don't get left behind, but it's best to see what works for you own playstyle

If it's an IS7 you have a decent chance if you can watch where they aim and angle your turret more than normal to make sure you bounce but against an IS4 facehug most things just give up lol

Overpen is when a shell enters the tank and penetrates through everything it encounters, including the rear armour and doesn’t spall, so effectively the shell just travels through the entire vehicle and exits it as if it wasn’t there, only lowering the penetration potential of the round

M4A3E2 “Cobra King”: A spiritual brother to the Fury, with pre 5.5 jumbo armor with lesser mobility. Think of it as a Maus at T6. The gun may be the Long 76 or short 75, although if it were the short 75 there would obviously need to be penetration improvements.

Yes these are taken from War Thunder but I believe they can have a place inside Blitz’s inventory. I don’t think these would be broken, though balancing would be appreciated from more experienced members of the community

All things being equal, of course an autoreloader is better than an autoloader, but the problem here is that the Pantera's gun simply is miles away from Lorraine. 3s interclip on 225 alpha is pretty bad, and you only have 3 shells compared to the Lorraine's 4. Having less pen just makes it even worse. Lorraine can actually punish enemies with its clip, whereas Pantera simply lacks the firepower to really be efficient, despite the autoreloader.

Being slower than the Lorraine too also only adds insult to injury. Sure it won't have long periods where it's unable to contribute, but being large and paper, making the most of the opportunities you do get to shoot is paramount, and Pantera just doesn't even come close to Lorraine in that regard

STI was the #1 most used tank back in the day, although the meta was slower and teams in CW3, especially in the tier 9 league, were less developed, but the performance was pretty mediocre.

The one thing that stands out to me though is how terrible the T-54 was. Most common medium, but horrific damages, which is not what you want out of your mediums.

And that just kinda tells me that the generalist med might not actually be all that great, especially now that heavies have so much HP

Uhm it's meh, the thing is just as good as being an annoying tank to use because it's a really really average medium, while Ru251 gives you HEP and mobility to relocate a lot. The Indien kinda offers some hulldown potential because it's so rare to see in a match that sometimes average people don't know where to shoot when it's hiding it's hull, but still a meh tank, and sufferable grind just to get PTA and getting greeted by it's stock grind.

Some tanks share parts, for example an optional (gun upgrades that doesn't unlock next tier) gun upgrade that sucks might be actually good (or even the top gun) for another tank. For example, Jagdpanther has a gun that is entirely optional but provides better alpha than it's top gun that leads to Jagdpanter 2 or Ferdinand. If you research it, you'll find out that gun is actually the second gun of Ferdinand and Jagdpanther 2.

Both have amazing pen and almost no hull armour at all. The Centurion can use it's turret armour and depression , which makes it really good for holding angles where depression is needed , like most places on the mid of maps. The Centurion is quite big too and slower that 301. The 301 is highest pen for T8 lights (I think) and the DPM for both tanks is really good(Although 301 has a bit more DPM). It's up to you because both the T9s that come after those tanks are really good.

It is a hit and run tank, sneak a shot and then get away.
You can also circle targets when you want to hit them with HE.
If you can't pen the target you are facing spam HE in its face.

Everything is there, decent armor for a light, 440 clip with the 45mm, 61 module damage per shot. I find it broken but not forgiving for most players

Fxp it or just play it 2nd liner support, and don't even bother to make plays yet, because your gun is not so great but its nice to have 4 clip the follow up shots won't be that good, the mobility is wack since its stock, so you better off finding a good supporting position and not letting yourself traded.

Why wargaming won’t include kugelblitz and flakpanzer E100 and E10 . They would Impact gameplay . Flakpanzers have extreme elevation and (semi)auto cannons , E10 is a low prophile lo cost TD to sneak attack . T49 is the best choice between the two. The T49 is versatile, very mobile and has two options between a dependable solid 90mm gun and the derp 152mm gun. It's got a decently small profile and a good amount of hitpoints, too.

Intercept and bully mediums. Most heavies and all tds will laugh at the armor of the is7. Reverse sidescraping is not something that you go in with the intention to do. If you get flanked, sure, but do not take the time to turn the whole tank around just get into position.

Surprisingly enough prammo isn't very common at Tier 7, so the Tiger (P)'s armor still functions very well if you know how to wiggle the turret and hide the lower lower plate. Gun is great too, and its mobility isn't...horrible

Chimera, i have a 78% winrate with 50 battles and every other player of that tank has an average of 61% winrate. (9000 players, same as smasher) (defender has 55% I think.) the defender is also good its just harder. I think if you are good with autoloading hulldown then go defender. it is a better tank but much harder. chimera is if you want a hulldown snapshot sniper trading tank. Chimera also has really cool active abilities (take 20% less damage, and gain 40% accuracy, both for 15 seconds.) and passives (+5% hp and 3%) you can get the chimera from 1400 hp to 1600hp with upgrades, for instance.

Can’t flank fast enough, and heavies/TDs just hide where there’s lots of buildings so I can’t circle of death them, and I don’t know how to support the heavies

Don’t support heavies unless otherwise you’d be alone, mediums are brawlers in high tier, and mainly play like slower lights, spot and use their guns when they’re free to. Avoid getting shot, and wait for the enemy to get distracted before exposing yourself to fire. In the T-54 Mod 1, you can bully tier 7s with your armor

@fickle hull poke when safe, see if HE can pen, if it can’t, load AP, if it still can’t, load pAP, if it still can’t, HE the bottom of the turret/ the deck. Then hide during your reload, conserve HP
