I'm about to start grinding for a new tank, what is the best heavy tank currently that wont be getting a nerf any time soon?

We have no way to know about buffs and nerfs
Tanks seem to get them at absolute random sometimes, tanks that were perfectly fine get bad nerfs for no reason, tanks that are already pretty good get insane buffs who knows
Only way to know what will likely be nerfed is what’s overused in competitive tournament streams where it’s to a point there’s 5 or more of the same tank on both teams
Like Strv K, 113GFT and VK 72 got nerfed for this reason but what tanks that currently is I don’t know

Some passes of metal file and hobby knife for flame cut marks on armor plate edges then thin noodle of 2 part epoxy for welds, although that might not work the same way on 3d printer filament compared to plastic models

Especially for this one it looks like he’s gotten a much better printer and they come out much smoother than they used to

From what I’ve seen, to get some better sidescraping with the kv4, you’d be better off reverse sidescraping, as it puts your turret in a better position and doesn’t expose you nearly as much . However, doing that does require teammates who can help support you if you get pushed and need to rotate back to facing foward before you get nuked

K-91 actually has great DPM for a tier 9 heavy. The autoloader allows you to take full advantage of opportunities when enemies poke and get tracked. If you play along with your team, you can get a full clip and they can do the rest of the damage. Stay hulldown, because your hull isn’t strong, but you can defensively sidescrape if you have to

M6A2E1 and T54E2 are the two that come to mind for me mainly, but I’m surprised with just how many are kept

A single T26E4 is still around, but it’s not THE super Pershing that one got scrapped in Europe : ( it’s just simply the upgraded Pershing and I’ve seen it plenty of times : )

It wasn’t even supposed to exist they only “built” it as a half ah agreement that it’d be used only to test the turret/gun stuff for T29 which is why they never bothered to modify the hull to have the intended armor (tier 8 EXP in game) so they only made two and after they were done with it said okay we don’t need this
T54E2 though… this was well after WW2 where they cared a lot more about tank preservation and the T54E2 turret was a good idea since they intended to use it on the T95 medium tank and seemed like a pretty good upgrade to M48 Patton

Fun fact. Even though I love the Pershing with a passion. I ruined it's stats. I started playing with it when I was super green at the game. Lost every single time. It grew on me and as time went by I learned how to use it properly. Too late though, poor thing has laughable stats.

Actually its not. Thats the unused Type 68 that was meant to be in the tutorial but we got the T-34-85. Droodles made a video about all the tutorial tank being played in regular battles.

3D scale.de cheaper but quality isn’t as high (still very good quality but you can see the print marks)
Chinese eBay INSANE quality but very expensive

3D scale 1/48’s are about 30€

There are very few tanks you’re full red from, and even then they can just load prammo and your armor is gone anyways. The tier 6 tigers are quite average tanks, they have decent guns and mobility with quite strong turrets

I have an issue with the premium tank recuperation system for the T95E6. I sold it in 2021, so it was wayyy before the update 10.8 (which was in 2024) that changed the rules. Therefore, i should be able to buy my t95e6 for the price that was applying before 10.8 right ?

But i dont remember if the selling price back in 2021 was 7500 or 15000 for the T95E6. Does anyone know ?

The tier above 10 (tier 11 or level 8 in reforged) I’d imagine would be the very first prototypes of the modern tanks like XM-1 (Abrams prototype) leopard 2 prototype which looks like simply just a better leopard 1 before it became what it is, type 74 since tier 10 STB is the prototype already stuff like that

I could see M60-2000 being a tier 11 premium (M60 hull Abrams turret) it’d be like Lorraine 50 impenetrable turret weak hull

And I’ve mentioned this before with thinking about modern tiers in blitz there’d actually be good light tank content, rn they struggle to add high tier lights there are no tier 10 light premiums, only half the nations have one in the tech tree and there’s only two premium 9’s both recent (Lekpz 70 and ATAC which isn’t out yet)

Tbh idk how modern they’d get in reforged considering they’d only have 3 tiers (assuming they keep the tier 10 system), meaning that tier 8 would be things like chieftain Mk. 10, M60A3, and probably Leopard 2k or Leopard A1A1, tier 9 would be early modern MBTs such as M1 Abrams, Challenger Mk. 1, and Leopard 2, then tier 10 would be initial upgrade packages such as M1A1 Abrams, challenger Mk. 2 or 3, and Leopard 2A4

What about an in between for MBT prototypes

There’s a very big gap between M60 chieftain leopard 1 and Abrams challenger leopard 2 strength level
Their prototypes would be a good buffer zone of not too unfair for the Cold War MBT’s and has a chance against modern

Leopard 2k is a leopard 2 prototype, could do XM-1 for Abrams, and the challenger didn’t have any proper prototypes (aside from FV4030/3 but that’s essentially just a challenger Mk. 1)
