Basically in short the biggest problem with AE Phase 1 is that the power was distributed evenly to all 4 tracks with no way to “reroute the power” if it loses one of the tracks it’s at half engine power since the power still goes to the broken track, Phase 2 redesigned several things and then designed a way to have the power redirected to the remaining tracks if it loses a set

This didn’t really matter though since they never went through with building the AE Phase

Btw, you're not missing much. AE in blitz plays a lot like an M103 with better gun depression. Stat wise it's nothing special, just your standard hull down heavy with a classic American "shoot here" hatch

It's got stronger turret armour which does help with hull down, and weaker hull armour as a trade off. Upper plate is angled enough to face hug some enemies, but they'll just shoot the hatch anyway. It's good working ridgelines. Also, it's an AE - you get focused a lot by people who wanna be able to say they killed one

That last problem would be solved by making it more available though lol

I think the cobra is really good with calibrated shells you can Hesh tier 10 heavies and your standard heat goes through nearly everything

Since there’s no high pen premium shell its standard has really high pen, it’s just standard heat vs hesh

I don’t use prammo that does reduced damage more often than not it just gets in the way when I’m trying to make a quick HE shot than what it’s actually for (switching shells on switch is very clunky the button is in a very inconvenient spot that requires you to take your finger off the move joystick)

The consumable item buttons are in a perfectly good spot where you can press them without affecting movement at all
But the ammo switch button is not, you practically have to stop moving in order to switch or do some weird position with your hands if you want to fire on the move and switch shells at the same time

it can be, its just the name of the material/liquid thats used to produce the product, resin 3d printing is usually more clean and precise compared to fdm, and like fdm can come in different types (tho idk much about 3d printer resin)

Resin printing is much crisper and better for small detail, but it can be more brittle than fdm depending on materials. It's much better for models, a friend of mine uses resin printers for our battletech

it is weird. Played few battles with it. DPM feels terrible, pen is bad, but workable. Mobility is great, gun dep is great. But I dont get it. Type 61 has almost everything better expect the mobility. I can not really compare to anything else. Same 10 degree gun dep, similar turret armor, maybe the AMX is a bit better, but type has much more dpm, way better pen, much better alpha especially with premium shell.

or I can compare it maybe to centurion 7/1 similar gun dep, better turret armor, you can choose between a 340mm pen heat gun, a good hesh gun and 20pdr gun with 3400DPM with similar pen to the AMX 30. Yes, it is slower, but both tank will use similar positions on the map

One of the notable things is that it has a flat edged front not a rounded M48/M103 shaped hull

Just got the MBT-B and took it out three times in 10 vs 10. 3 wins, 2.5k average dmg, 9 kills, survived twice. It’s versatile. Mobility is pretty good, gun is great, autoreloader really makes it nice. Not had to use it’s armour much but it does get bounces too. BTW, this is the view of average player - 52.55% wr. I like this tank. Oh, yeh, before I forget, it’s a premium so I’m unlikely to sell it gamble, 😂

Oh absolutely. It’s gun sings when in a brawl and it’s heat pen is lovely. It’s also pretty fast in a straight line. Decent armor

I have a love hate relationship with the type. If you match against opponents who don't load premium shells and don't know the weak spots you will literally steam roll them. However of u match against half decent players u will get absolutely smoked half the time

Pick up the mobility suspension if it has it for better mobility or you can pick the better gun depression upgrade if you like doing hulldown

Might’ve been as if i’m correct it mounted the massive 122 mm from the js-2 so it technically should be mounted only forward as if it could rotate it would be really bad for the tank’s stability and potential ring damages

I made a tank of the day post on this but it was a while ago so I don’t remember but I think because of the massive gun turret rotation wasn’t possible but I may be wrong
Or rotation was possible if they really had to but it really shouldn’t as you mentioned it’d probably strain the tank badly

I know T28 HTC has a turret module because it’s gun wheel is almost like a turret with how much it can move it’s gun to the sides it just jams the gun if it’s broken and you can turn it maybe same thing with Ho-Ri where “broken turret” just prevents you from moving the gun
