It just isn't. Chimera is a high-level medium tank while WZ-122TM is just a heavy tank that tried to be fast. Chimera's gun depression and better dispersion allows you to utilize the power gun it has much better than WZ.

v4 has always been an ultimately underwhelming tank. People went wild about the armor but then they remember that a cupola is a weakspot to shoot at, and the v4 can't really make effective use of its gun unless you're a bad player

If you're purely using anecdotal evidence to say the armor changed, then that's probably from the CS change, too. T-150 still has its classic uparmored KV-1 90mm frontal plate. If you're being penetrated in the turret more often, then players are just aiming at weakspots there more often.

Heck, Blitz's T-150 is more armored than PC's T-150

I'd need to see replays. You definitely had a turned turret if a light tank is penetrating the frontal side.

It takes 185mm AP shells to penetrate an enhanced armor turret frontal side on a T-150 that is looking forward at the enemy

You say you would want to make revised techtree's, most of what you said is bringing premiums in as tech tree lines, and making some lines make more sense, yet you never said anything about entirely untouched line paths (barely even low tier tanks what i am about to suggest)

 For example bringing in the ka-mi, ka-chi, ka-tsu, or to-ku, as a low tier to mid tier line that could branch off from tier 4 or 3 and lead back into the main japanese heavy line or find some other japanese amphibious tanks not from WWII to finish the line. 

The other example being the American's the LVT(A)-1 with it-s m3 light turret and 37mm, the British LVT-4 aka (Buffalo IV) with a 20mm, could be a low tier collector to go along with them. LVT(A)-4, armed with a 75mm with the turret of the m8 td, it had more armor than the LVT(A)-1 as well. LVT(A)-5 a more armored version of the LVT(A)-4 boasting faster turret rotation and slightly better armor. The last tank that could actually be added for American amphibious tanks is the post WWII LVTH-6 with its 105mm howitzer mounted on its turret.

Changes
-added back low tiers so it’s not just one tank
-T20 moved down to tier 6 with the E8 line all moved down 1 to have M60A1 as the 10
-T42 and T95 medium tank tech tree line (E3 is T95 medium with T54E2 turret)
-Yoh 1 is now the tier 7 also Yohs are now medium tanks as they are irl
-T30 heavy tank line to fit T29 34 32 and 30 together
-M6 heavy line leads to E5 now
-fake tier 7 TD’s replaced with T28HTC and Scorpion (T28 prot and E4 stay I guess tho)
-T69 and T54E1 moved down a tier and T77 now as the 9 (seems like a good transition between T54E1 and T57 Heavy)
Any removed tech tree tanks I didn’t put anywhere are now premiums like T71 and M VII Yoh

Only spots I need to fill are tier 4 light and tier 9 TD to replace T30 now that it was moved to heavy (as it should be)
