I think it is because of gun capabilities+grille can get everywhere at a time. While I count Jag more as frontal patzerfaus because it can bounce well and can keep enemy from movements.... But I can be wrong... (I count Jag as frontal because it has hard troubles against medium/lights which can try to go attack sides/backsteps). But I dunno... 😉

I would recommend to play the e75 to get used to high tier, and only after you have played and mastered plenty of t10 heavies, you should start playing the e6 or even batchat. I know, its hard to have a t10 premium in the garage and not to play it, but I made this mistake with a different prem and i wasted almost 7 month of my life xD.

My experience was different, I usually played tier 8 with k-2, S59 Patton and Strv 81, and lately I bought k-91, I have like 600 battles with a 2010 average damage, my highest average damage before was like 1600 with the k-2. I know I'm a mid-low skilled player, but for me playing the tier 9 with just few experience was good and funny

For HESH it works differently it’s like a premium explosive more than a premium AP
So it’s slightly reduced pen but extra damage compared to the standard

You can imagine the lower pen higher damage shell as your standard ammo to use and then switch to standard ammo to use as the "prammo"
