the cheapest option is to go with a gaming pc, not built already, you building it then from the box, you add the components, best part is the box can be cheap as heck and youd still be able to make a monster rig. all in all the cheapest is a pc the fastest tho is the laptop, the most convinient in a chronological manor is the pc the most convinient in over all portability is the laptop

you wont be able to take your 100s or 1000s dollars worth pc if your town is evacuated due to a nuclear strike etc a laptop defo

overall i am so satisfied with this acer nitro gaming laptop, shocked as well in all honesty, but it runs fine, my only job is to clean it every 4 months or so from dust and then wipe it clean with alcohol mixture

Think it was to reduce the weight by creating as much internal air as possible to aid in flotation, that and the amount of rounds too

the boat like appearance helps too with the benefit of slanted armour as the design, but very very thin not to be excessively heavy

These guys did not have the screen extensions used by other duplex drivers, I can believe the reason was its weight and its design being primarely for aquatic use and so here we are

But I feel small compared to my friends who do good in something like a Tomcat or a Su-27

There is which is weird
For Ground Realistic you don't have markers for enemy planes
For Air Realistic you do

Though air realistic there's a limit to which you can spot so sometimes you have planes that don't have any identifications on them

because in ground you aim and generall you shoot and hit, for planes you need to always take the speed of your target in concideration and shoot ahead almost every single time

There is still velocity/drop calculating against a moving target at long ranges, you'd have to aim ahead

But yeah it is definitely way more applicable against planes as they go at way faster speeds, this is a standard thing when playing planes, SPAA or even using tanks with machine guns that can hunt down planes

generally if you are clever you wait for a tank to stop

and generally they will be ambushing or using hull down or cover so this aim ahead thing, is almost not ever the case

You are overestimating the average intelligence of a WT player

+there are openfield maps where there are ALOT of situations where you can hit moving targets at long ranges where you'd have to use that skill

WT Sheridan, the ATGM be like tryna shoot a half court shot

you not understanding my point, I am saying compared to tanks aircraft is constantly moving at speeds far greater than any tank, and as such you always or almost always need to compensate for speed of your foe by shooting ahead. With tanks most of the time I bet this thing where someone drives 100s of meters away and you fire happens, but not as much as you claim

The only problem is on close quarters, ATGM can be a bit finnicky, and reloading to your HEAT is VERY problematic (decade long reload)

It's near impossible to get a good shot off since people like to camp more than 1km away and move only after they expended their ammo with 0 kills and need to cap a point (for WW2 and early cold war anyways)

Once you have laser rangefinders, all you need is to lead if theyre moving

well squad 44 does, when tanking you must also compensate for a weather type, if failing to do so, then you either depending on the range shoot the wrong round like APCR (known for its wind resistance issues and being whoefully inccurate even in decent weather due to weight) or the weather can obviously make the round go slightly of course, heavier higher velocity rounds dont suffer as much, luckily there are a few examples where this is the case (few examples being tanks and armored cars)

and then come to DCS with flight physiques you too have bad weather and your plane just does not want to listen to you at all

Interesting one, lemme try to give you some basic things. There are basically 2 types of guns. High alpha low DPM and low alpha high DPM. The latter is harder to play but more rewarding. If playing the high alpha ones, it's really simple. Push out 1-2 seconds before being reloaded (optional) and just carefully aim, hide, reload, repeat. With the low alpha guns it's harder, as you need time on target. You can create these oppertunities, but if you knew how you wouldn't be asking things here. And I neither know how to so yeah. The ideal secenario is of course people not looking at you, popping adernaline and just farming them out. In a 1v1 it's also not too hard as you can put in 2-3 hots for every time the enemy shoots once etc. Honestly, I can't really tell you more about it without becoming vague, but to farm damage you'll need to be good in postitioning, which is really hard to explain through text. As for autoloaders, you need to combine those 2. Burst when you can pen and you can use your armor, and make sure to have cover/allies near to help you while you reload. Ik this wasn't really helpfull, but I'm rlly tired and it's quite hard to explain. If there's smth more feel free to ask, will try to give a better answer in that case

I’ve been very inactive in playing but balance wise, the RU has always had a great top speed but it’s not super quick at accelerating to high speeds

The blackdog if I remember correctly has always been a little better at accelerating but a lower top speed. But it is a little taller, the RU 251 benefits from being a bit short

Can anyone check how the Kpz 70's ammunition is named in-game? Because I looked it up myself on Blitzhangar and apparently, in-game, the APCR and HEAT rounds have inverted names
Like, the tank has an APCR as a stand-in for its real APFSDS round, but it's called M409A1, and its HEAT shell got the name XM578E1
But in real life, M409A1 is HEAT and XM578E1 is APFSDS
or is that a problem exclusive to blitzhangar?

it's APCR, modern ammunition or atleast modern in form (APDS, APFSDS, APDSFS, etc.) do not appear ingame

further, WG doesn't really care for historical accuracy down to names of munitions, if it's well known enough maybe.
