Hi Devs, so, I think that Wargaming didn't need to have nerfed the Russian T62A medium tank's cannon so much. In the game where there are tanks like the OBJ.907 and KPZ50T, the T62A's gun didn't need to be so slow and squinty. I think it should be buffed when it comes to reloading, getting 5.6 (it currently has 5.7 reload, this half a second plus second has really affected my performance in battle) and its accuracy improved from 0.326 to 0.310. He's an excellent tank and he's good, but the cannon leaves something to be desired, I understand what Wargaming wanted when they buffed the OBJ.140 and ´´nerfed´´ the T62A, but it didn't need to be that much. Well, that's my opinion about the tank that I like most in the game, I hope something is done.

The sabot is because you can’t fit a long skinny rod in a thicker gun. It’s to cram more explosive inside the round for higher muzzle velocity. APFSDS shells have fins specifically to spin them

The dart doesn’t make any contact with the rifling, but early sabot rounds did engage the rifling. It’s why the AMX 30 exclusively shot HEAT and HE until the apfsds round was introduced in the 80s.

A long spinning object has the tendency to turn over in flight. A long rod penetrator that spins in flight would have the tendency to turn over, making it horrible at actually hitting something, much less penetrating it

But the main reason why the rifling stuck around despite this was because of HESH. It’s the one round that needs spin in order to impart the explosives it contains onto the enemy target.

I’m playing a bunch of cobra matches rn are you using calibrated shells? It’s penetration is really good you can easily hesh even tier 10 heavy’s lower plates and sides and stuff

Hesh on Charlemagne feels like a rare opportunity treat,cobra it’s like you can literally run hesh as your standard shell and it’s heat can go through nearly anything

I’d only sell my 907,452k and 50TP prot if I don’t have enough to get Kpz 70P when that comes out I have a lot of gold ready but just in case I’m unlucky and it’s not enough

Needed to do that for cobra I thought I had enough but got super unlucky and sold object 260 to get a good amount of gold to continue

I think it’s worth it to trade in tanks I don’t use for ones that will be my favorites (but only if it’s to directly buy/gurantee the tank I wouldn’t sell tanks just to buy random chance crates like collect em alls)

Those being the turreted “T28 prototype”,the two tech tree tier 7 TD’s and T110E4 being turreted it looked basically the same as T110E3

Basically the majority of fakes come from forcing tech trees for countries that don’t have much tanks like the EU’s (Czech Poland Italy)
BZ line is fake and type 71 line is too

Swedens tech trees are real (the one in this game and the two we don’t have on PC)
